The beer that Steve and I had was the Red Band which is a lager which I enjoy the majority of the time. Flavors to find with hopefully fun involved are malty, sweet (a natural sweetness probably from the flaked corn involved), hoppy, crisp and clean in the finish. Typical for this beer type it was light bodied also. Swag was indeed purchased here as I knew the likelihood of this happening was high and I got a very nifty t-shirt from the transaction.

I drive from Columbus about 2x a month or more depending on what they have going on and they usually do. Absolute best beer garden which makes sense they have been voted #1 by USA Today's Reader choice. I've been coming here the last couple of years - heard about it through someone I knew. They host craft markets, farmers markets, mini shows to bigger ones - North to Nashville has played here. The beers are good and the service is great. Parking is across he street in the field - they have foods trucks and constantly post on their Instagram about the food trucks. It's an old farm that has been converted into. Brewery - lots of space and tables inside. Great seating outdoors as well - bring chairs for shows bc tables may be taken. There is a trail along the backside so sometimes you'll see people riding horses. It's close to Alum Creek and is Grear for star gazing in the summer. I love coming here to get out of the city life. Sometimes I'll bring a book, grab a drink and just hang out. Really good spot. Enjoy!

Lots of rules as mentioned in other posts...we slid two tables together so our group could sit together. It's large, several tables - we were able to play some card games while we drank. A nice spot, clearly?l, to come with friends. The important part - their beers were all solid. I have had a couple of their beers in the past, but at Land Grant's Oktoberfest my friend kept bringing me their Cold IPA (I was pouring for Sierra Nevada) - my girlfriend - who grew up in Wooster - ended up pouring JAFB. I believe the brewer Josh was at Oktoberfest, too! Plain and simple? It's a good damn brewery. I look forward to coming back in the future.

One of the latest breweries I tried from The Buckeye State was JAFB Wooster Brewery. Steve and I had the Vienna Lager called the 90 Foot To Vienna. I do like lagers and this type is fairly high on my list on fondness for lager types. Flavors to detect and have fun with here are biscuity, grainy, malty, some honey can be noticed and a clean aftertaste. All in all a very pleasant lager to have as the temps crank up outside for the summer.

The Draft Room held a "Dark as Night" event which they featured some rare, highly rated stouts. They listed the stouts and after doing some review research, I knew I couldn't miss out! The bar has seating at the bar, small tables near the bar, and bigger tables/booth near the front of the bar. There is a small narrow outside patio, which looked mainly for smoking. I'm not sure if there are tables out there maybe when the weather is nice. The Draft Room had a ton of taps and offered flights, full beer pours, and even half beer pours for all their beers. I love this idea because sometimes I would rather have a smaller portion to try more things! The bartenders were fast and efficient. Since my husband and I both opted to do a flight, they handed us a board with four holes for the flight glasses, and a piece of chalk. The drafts are listed by number, and posted on each side of the bar. We wrote the number of the drafts we wanted to try on the chalk board paint next to each of the drink holes. What a cool idea! There was a cooler of take home beers on the side of the bar. I saw multiple people coming in and buying beer from the cooler and leaving. They have a great selection! Since then - we have come back for their plant bingo quite often, and I've seen a lot of their staff, and have come away with zero complaints. They keep a nice tap list with variety (a little hop heavy, but that's the current trend, right?), they have a small selection of to-go beers and singles/BYO. It's a chill location, with Pasquale's nearby, and Ox-b's across the street (who do free delivery during plant bingo). Basically, if you like a chill bar and good drinks, this is a great place to stop in to!

They were pretty busy considering how tiny the building is, but there is two pool tables, a jukebox, and Just enough space to sit comfortably. The vibe was pretty chill and laid-back, which is always nice for a little hometown bar. Overall, I was impressed, and I would go again.
