This has nothing to do with someone "seeing you have positive reviews" and coming to review you because of it. It has everything to do with how you are as a person. Confession... for myself, getting a haircut tops going to the dentist, hands down! It's hard to find a good hairstylist, who's also not rushed to get you out and on to the next 4 people waiting, sadly most hair shops are set up for mass production and expectations of their employees is numbers, not necessarily quality, not saying, you can't get a good haircut out there, it's just the odds and consistency aren't there. And guys, c'mon, admit it, most of us have short hair cause it's hecka easy to maintain. Right?!? So after a two year Covid rebellion of no haircuts, and finally going in and enduring two visits to get it cut presentable, it was time to get my gray crazy hair cut again, but this time, was different, Thanks to Jenn, my faith in hairstylists is in full recovery. Setting up the appointment and a few texts with pictures of myself, and some ideas for hairstyles, it was time to get it done. First time actually walking around downtown Issaquah, definitely need to stop more often to check out the many different shops and restaurants, I found the way up to Jenn's salon, in a cute old brick building. We went over some of the ideas she presented for styles, deciding on the Bradley Cooper/Brad Pitt styles cut, sans the thick locks and good looks. We were both realistic with limitations. lol She was great at noticing the good and not so good about recent cuts, products used, making recommendations, which most were not on display in the salon, but readily available elsewhere. It was a joy to watch someone, who enjoys what they do, taking her time, like watching an artist at work. Along with the hairstyle, she also trimmed my beard, and made great suggestions on the correct ways to use a trimmer. After the cut, a shampoo and a hot peppermint infused towel on my face.. very relaxing to say the least. A little blow dry, conditioner, and my hair looked great! It usually takes my crazy cowlicks awhile to take to a new cut, but they were in full cooperation this time. So, guys.. and ladies, if you're looking for a high quality hair stylist, I definitely recommend giving Jenn a call to set up an appointment. It gets even easier after the first time on the website.
