I returned to Dr. Ali for an illness I was having. I was very worried about how I was feeling and what was going on. He came in and listened to all of my questions thoroughly. This man to most is just a good doctor. To me, he means so much to me. Living in LA with no family close by, getting sick is always a pain. Getting really sick and almost dying from blot clots and complications from blood thinners is terrifying. We were in Beverly Hills for the day when my wife was not feeling very well at all. Her doctor is down in Manhattan Beach and we couldn't drive all the way back down and needed to be seen right away. We found Dr. Ali on Yelp and were able to get an appointment for the same day, and within the hour! We showed up, filled out the forms, seen right away without having to wait for hours like at most doctors offices of urgent cares. Dr. Ali himself is very genuine, and attentive to my wife's concerns. I may switch to him as my primary care physician/primary care doctor even though its a bit of a drive. Dr. Ehsan Ali is the MAN! He's very knowledgeable on everything and makes me feel comfortable. Along with his great communication skills, he's trustworthy. The nursing staff is AWESOME! Very friendly and nice. They always give me water, helpful tips, and able to empathize. Great experience! However, the front desk staff's level of customer service is not consistent but Serina (correct spelling?) is helpful. I appreciate her help in getting prescriptions filled in other states during my business travels and booking my semi-emergency appointments on such short notice. There is another lady that may need more experience or coaching in customer service. I came in for an appointment and she looked at the computer screen most of the time. Felt like I was bothering her. Did not feel welcome at all. Perhaps she was busy but that does not mean you don't properly greet patients with a smile & make them feel welcome. I have some complicated health issues that are a bit hard to manage and Dr. Ali takes the time to offer treatments such as IV Fluids & Vitamins at home that helps to limit and prevent ER Visits. He has been there every time I've needed him to be. No matter the time of day or night. I met Dr. Ali through a friend a while ago and when a medical need came up I knew where to go. I'm glad I did and my experience with him has been very pleasant and respectful. Like year ago, among all the fad diets we keep running into, I came across low-carb high fat diet. After some initial skepticism and some research on my part I decided to give it a shot, hoping it would help me reach my weight loss goals. Surprisingly it did work for me, I started shedding pounds. However I was still not sure if I was getting any healthy, internally to say. So upon recommendation of a friend I decided to get some blood work done. I explained my situation to Dr.Ali and he ordered some tests to see how my levels are. When he got my results, I wasn't happy to see that some numbers were off from what I expected. But thanks him, he clearly explained why it was ok to have those numbers elevated in my case. I feel that is something we rarely see these days when most medical practitioners go strictly by standard numbers like we are cast out of the same die. I came home fully convinced that I am in a very healthy condition and continued with the diet n lifestyle changes I made. After all this my insurance would not cover the costs of my blood work due to their weird policies. After couple of back n forth calls from Dr Ali to the company and it was finally covered. I was recently looking for an internal medicine/primary care physician to see quickly, and happened upon Dr. Ali's excellent Yelp reviews. Because I managed to get an appointment right away, I decided to keep the appointment even when I learned the office does not take my insurance. As other Yelpers have already commented, Dr. Ali is just what you'd want in a primary care doctor -- he is very knowledgeable, patient-oriented (willing to thoroughly explain things when asked), and common sense. I didn't even mind (well almost!) paying his office visit fee entirely out-of-pocket. In short, I would highly recommend Dr. Ali to anyone looking for a qualified and caring internal med/primary care doctor. read more

I read the reviews on Yelp and he sounded fantastic, so I called his office and left a message asking about his fee structure. I got no reply, so I called. I got switched around, but the upshot was...nobody would answer my question!! Apparently there are two ways of billing--one as a concierge patient with several different levels at different prices, or as a regular patient, in which case I would be billed at some rate in addition to what my insurance would pay. However, they would not explain the details, nor would they mail it to me, nor was it on the website. I would have to come in person before anybody would talk to me about it. Dr. Ali is great. I've been seeing him for 3-years. He's a concierge doctor so he's very flexible. I've seen him early in the morning on a weekend and fairly late in the evening during the week. This has been a huge plus for me given that my schedule is very busy and unpredictable. He's very efficient and knows what he's talking about.
