I found Dr. Ali on Yelp, read the reviews, decided to sign with him as a concierge patient. He maintains a regular practice, without the concierge fees, but I have been having some problems and wanted greater access. I have never been happier with any doctor. Aside from being a very nice person (which isn't always the case with doctors), he is a serious practitioner who really cares and goes out of his way to help. Once when I was having an emergency, he called me from DisneyWorld where he was on vacation with his family! Dr. Ali is so versatile that sometimes when I think I need a specialist, he is well-informed and able to take care of the issue. I am allergic to many, many medications, and Dr. Ali goes out of his way to find medicine that I can take. His office is in Beverly Hills, very central, with it's own valet parking, which is very convenient. I almost never need to go into the office except for the yearly checkup or to get a blood test. As a concierge patient, I have cell phone contact with him when I need him, and he answers promptly. When I had a serious flu, he sent a nurse to the house to give me hydrating infusion. Also had a nurse come to collect a sample during a UTI. Now that I'm older, I really appreciate Dr. Ali's concierge service. I chose the level that is $5000/year, paid in two installments, and never better spent. Gone are the hours spent in waiting rooms, and long drives across town to medical buildings. If I could give Dr. Ali 10 stars, I would. Whether you're considering concierge service or primary care, you can't go wrong with Dr. Ali. An added benefit is that the office staff is very friendly and helpful, and the office nurse is absolutely a delight. read more

I'm not sure how this place has such good reviews, I can only assume it's because they cater to a specific type of client who is not concerned with quality medical care. I was hopeful at first that I had finally found a practice in LA that wasn't focused on profitability but actually was patient focused-this practice is not that. I needed an Rx for a follow up mammogram/not a great feeling to begin with .UCLA had called this office several times, sent emails and continued to get no response-nothing! It took me calling UCLA to book my follow up to learn this...you'd think your own doctor would not only respond but also reach out to for next steps or send the script needed. I had to call this office to ask them to respond. The woman was not only rude, she cut me off a few times and was just not helpful. I was told I had to meet with doc for 5 min to get a script since I had not been in for a bit...I told them that's ridiculous as I have not needed to go and now I simply need to pay a co pay to talk to a PA to get a script I need so they simply can make a profit? I wasn't happy and also needed to get an appt booked so had to have this call. The PA was 15 min late for a 15 appt and simply asked if I needed a script-NOTHING ELSE, felt wrong to me to even consider this an appt or charge me plus insurance for this. Then to have them tell me to fax the script on my own-they couldn't even do that for me!? I had to call back to ask them to do it-thankfully who ever I did speak to that day was kind enough to do so but it took me several call and unreturned voicemails to do so. This office made it clear that patient centered medicine isnt part of their practice. Perhaps if I was a celebrity they could snap a pic with my experience would have been different. read more

Dr. Ali saved my life yesterday! After a horrible bout of a GI illness with non-stop vomiting and diarrhea I became completely dehydrated and needed urgent help. I initially went to Exer urgent care and after waiting 2 miserable hours I was told they don't administer IV fluids. That's when I thought to call my long time primary doc Dr. Ali. I was so lucky to get a hold.of him at 7 pm and he allowed me to come to the office right away. Within minutes on arrival he began running the IV fluids mixed with some anti nausea meds. This morning I feel much better and could not be more thankful. Dr. Ali truly cares about his patients' well-being. He even called me today to check up on me. Having a primary care doctor in Beverly Hills close to my office is extremely convenient and since he has weekend appointments, it is very easy to get seen in a timely fashion. There's never a long wait and the entire process is very efficient. Ashley who is part of his office staff is always pleasant and on top of things for me. Went to see Dr. Ehsan Ali on July 6, 2023 for my yearly exam. He was a fine Dr. and I liked his manners and expertise. I did not need a gyno logical exam so my visit was super easy for him. The nurse could not find a vein to draw blood for my blood work. She said Quest uses lasers to find a vein. (That is not true). I made an additional visit to Quest. I finally made it to Quest which the nurse easily found a vein without any lasers and I received my blood work via e-mail with a note from the staff that said, lipid panel is elevated. The staff wanted to schedule me an appointment to talk with Dr. Ehsan Ali about my blood work on the telephone. The day of, at 9:10 today August. 4, 2023 the staff calls and wants money for the Teledoc appointment. My insurance with Blue Shield of California says $0 co-pay for Teledoc and they are trying to charge me $35 to hear about my blood work and probably prescribe me medication for high triglycerides and high cholesterol. Ashley tried to say that there are certain Teledoc Doctors and that is what the $0 co-pay is for and that is absolute B.S.! My husband had shingles during COVID and was offered to do a zoom call with his Dermatologist for the Teledoc co-pay! So, this is all supposed to be a part of my once a year check-up but clearly all the Dr.'s Office cares about is money, not their Patient's health. So, now I can have my friend that is a Nurse help me understand if I need medication, or ask my Gynecologist to help me understand my blood work. I would say, definitely DO NOT go to this office. The building is also very run down and the actual patient rooms are not that organized or special. I went to look at their Patient Fusion which you have to sign up for to read the Dr.'s notes. All it said was my basics, i.e. Height in cm, Weight in kg, Blood Pressure, BMI and Heart Weight. The nurse was so lazy she asked me how much I weighed? I said, Don't you have a scale? It was the olden day style scale. There is no diagnosis, no notes, no allergies, which I have, no labs, which I got ordered by the Dr., no care plan, no nothing. Stay Away!!!! Unfortunately the option of leaving zero star is non existing. If you are looking to have to google yourself what to do with your blood work results and how to understand it go to this guy. It is a total joke. I went to my physical annual to him for the fist time. He came in and did an incomplete visit as I have done many of these and I know for fact he skipped some steps then they did my blood work. Two weeks later as I didn't have any call from them I called and told them my blood results show some concerns. The front desk told me dr ali is too busy to follow up and that if I found anything concerning I could schedule another phone consultation costing an extra $100. All I had as an option was to start googling the terms of my blood work. How ridiculously unprofessional and what a disgrace. Some Drs are too busy making money and forget the essence of their duty.
