Once I obtained HSA coverage and scheduled a follow-up appointment specifically to have the X-rays done and be properly evaluated for surgery, my appointment was canceled by the surgeon. I was told he considered the prior visit a completed consult and that he did not feel seeing me again would make a difference. As a result, I was effectively dismissed as a patient without ever receiving the diagnostic imaging or evaluation needed to determine surgical options. This felt unprofessional and left me without care after I had made arrangements to move forward. I would not recommend this practice if you need flexibility or thorough evaluation before surgery.

I could barely explain my needs because she had too many policies to spew out. Don't waste your time unless you want to become the property of Aspen Dental and give them exclusive rights to your dental care and insurance.

After suffering from Lingual Nerve Damage over a decade ago, I was so deadset against any deep cleaning and hadn't allowed any dentist to even suggest it since. Dr Jones explained the way the rules and regulations trickle down and how insurance companies view procedures. He did so in simple language that I could understand and then suggested the topical anesthetic over a needle injection for the deep clean. I can't express how much that negated the fear in my mind. I was very nervous to have this done especially because I had never been under anesthesia. I went in for my consultation on a Monday and they were able to schedule my procedure Friday of the same week. The entire team was so friendly and welcoming during my entire experience. Dr. Wilson explained everything that would need to be done very clearly and helped me to feel at ease. I opted for Exparel to be given during my procedure and it was definitely worth it. I experienced no pain during my recovery only mild soreness which was relieved with Tylenol. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson and his team if you find yourself in need of oral surgery. Dr. Fish had to cut my gums while cutting the root out of there. I felt absolutely no iscomfort while being unnecessarily nervous. There was also only very minor pain after the procedure for half a day. Interestingly enough, the administrative people submitted three different prescriptions to Walgreen pharmacy, which was repeatedly unable for them to find them in their computer system. It has taken several calls for two days for the pharmacy find only one of them, the one for antibiotics to be taken before this minor surgery. After the contact with the pharmacist, I learned that one of them was ready to pickup. Guess what, the filled prescription was for Clopidogrel (Plavix). Thanks God, I knew what this drug is for. I was taking this drug some 12 years ago the last time before. What an incompetence of this pharmacy.
