There was no down time except for a lunch break. By 4:00pm the work was wrapping up and clean up commenced. And they left my property cleaner than they found it. They were gone at 4:30 pm. At 6:00pm Andrew came by to inspect the day's work. I'm thoroughly pleased. And the drone photos were a bonus. My roof looks great! And mowing my yards the next day I only found one nail. Seriously! You are always taking a chance when you hire someone, but we had read some good reviews and decided to take a chance. Austin was a gem. He was pleasant to work with and really knew his stuff. He explained how a solar fan would work and that it would definitely help the bonus room stay cooler. But, he also discovered that we had no insulation in the part of our attic that was directly over the bonus room!! So, he referred us to someone that could take care of that, and with that problem solved and our new solar fan, we are going to see a big change. I immediately noticed that the bonus room was cooler and it was a lot more comfortable to be up there. The true test was when the grand kids came over and they all hugged me and thanked me for making it cooler up there, which is where they hang out the most. We are so glad we took a chance with Austin. I knew when I saw that he brought his own booties to wear in our home that he was thinking about his customers. He also liked our Corgi, Gus, and that tells me a lot about a person too. He was great to work with!! It is only mid May, and there has been a lot of rain, and I know we made the right decision going with Gem State Solar! the solar fan looks great on the roof, completely unobtrusive, and we can't wait to see how it keeps our home cooler in the summer. Overall, we were so impressed with the quality of the service as well as Austin's professionalism and friendliness. We are very pleased!!
