My hair was done by the guy I'm guessing owns this branch. He is a nice Italian gentleman who provides you with tea or coffee and a good chat. He gave me lots of ideas of things that could be done to my hair- highlights to accentuate the colour, a full head of colour in my natural shade to hide old colour growing out, and never cut anything without checking it was what I wanted. I like the fact that, although he recommended I use a heat treatment on my hair, he did not try and sell me any products. Both times I have received many compliments after my haircut. It may not seem like a trendy or fashionable place to go but at least you know exactly what you're paying (rather than from £xx).

I have never had an unsatisfactory haircut from here and have always experienced excellent service. The hairdressers are friendly and welcoming, I always feel that they really listen to what I like, but are also able to give me thier input or advice when necessary. Perhaps the best thing about this salon is that the hairdressers are up to date with modern hairstyles. I have very short styled hair, and when I have visited other salons, I have often left with an old fashioned, dated haircut; this is never the case at Toni and Guy. I sometime vary the individual hairdresser who cuts my hair here, based on availability, but Shelley, a style director at the salon often cuts my hair and always does an excellent job, I'm always being complimented on my hair after after my appointments with her. The atmosphere in the salon is friendly and relaxing, and I always leave feeling happy with the service and treatment I've received. I would (and often do) recommend this salon to anyone; although there are cheaper places to go for a haircut, I think the quality of the service is well worth the money.

They have a plastic horse outside whose main they have done up with color extensions and braids .... 2 cute dogs and an atmosphere that will overjoy the inner goth in you. I think everyone who works there is from Spain and they all have amazing hair of course..... there is a slight fear they don't know what you are saying when you describe your ideal haircut yet you always walk away with something better than you first imagined. She spent ages blowing my long hair into curls and didn't come near me with T&G's favourite utensil, the dreaded GHD's; I wanted big, bouncy retro curls, not WAG curls. She's such a calm person, so not only did I end up with fabulous hair for the big night ahead, but I felt really relaxed when I left too, something that I would have never associated with T&G. I was told about this place by a friend and reluctantly went in a couple of weeks ago, the friendly women on reception told me that as everyone was on lunch I could come back at either 2pm,3.30 or 4.30. I think they also do similar hours in the morning too/(ie 9, 1030 and 1130). Although I have short hair and only wanted a trim my stylist still washed it and was very friendly through out without being overly chatty. Although it took just over an hour I didn't mind as I rather she take her time than just rush.

I normally delay going to the hairdresser for as long as I can because I usually leave not too happy with the result but this was my first time in this salon and I was very impressed. She actually listened to me and did exactly what I asked for.
