Fun bright atmosphere, friendly staff the only complaint is that it was a bit warm in the restaurant, I could see others fanning themselves so I was glad it wasn't just me. The orange juice was incredibly fresh and delicious green tea. Avocado toast was very good as a starter but I could have done without the fresh fruit on top I'd rather eat the fruit separately (which I did) then as a main....HOLY OMELETTE! It was huge! I went with the ham and cheese and added mushrooms. Excellent taste and filled with gooey cheese, hash browns were tasty I know practically everyone likes crispy hash browns but I prefer just a crisp crispy crust and softer underneath (they set my standard) sourdough toast was delicious and thick! First let me start by saying that this place is cute and has a nice family vibe to it. I came here on a Sunday morning around 10am. My party of 3 only had to wait around 10 minutes to be seated, which was great! All of the staff was very friendly to us! The reason for my 3 stars is due to the food and the vibe. I've become a person that LOVES attending brunch spots and that is due to the vibe! I love going to places that have some good music turned up so I can vibe out while I eat. This place....was NOT that! Lol. While the decor is nice, it's definitely not the brunch vibe that I've become accustomed to. Secondly, the food was good but in a mediocre kind of way. I ordered the "Dalis Skillet" which doesn't come in a skillet at all! Lol. ALL of the skillets aren't served in a skillet! This was disappointing for me because I was looking forward to the sizzle and the hot food due to it being a little chilly outside and I was let down. My food was warm and with all the ingredients it still lacked seasoning. I also ordered the "Banana Macadamia Pancakes".....and these were DELICIOUS!!! No complaints on my pancakes! My friends ordered the "Carne Asada Steak Frites Frittata", "Boozy Cinnamon Toast Pancakes", Nutella Red Velvet Pancakes, and the Chicken and Waffles. The Steak Frites was good but some of the steak was over cooked and seemed to be reheated. The Cinnamon Toast pancakes were good as well but the Rumchata was what was BEST! The chicken and waffles was NOT what we expected AT ALL.....and in this case....that's not a good thing. My friend should have read how it came, but here are our thoughts. First of all, it came with eggs on top and our server didn't ask how my friend wanted their eggs so it was served sunny side up(as stated on the menu) and none of us like our eggs like that. Secondly, there was this gravy that came on it(also on the menu) which was not what we were expecting. My friend was hoping to put some syrup on it and was unable to do so. Thirdly, the chicken wasn't crispy and tasted like bland raising canes tenders. The Red Velevet pancakes were good to me because I don't like a strong Red Velvet taste and the toppings made them really good. My friend didn't care for it because they couldn't taste the Red Velvet part due to all of the toppings. The drinks(Boozy salted caramel and mimosa) was just okay. This place is good for families and friends, but if you're like myself then this isn't the brunch place for you. Very eggstensive menu selection, but that was about the only thing we were impressed with. Atmosphere was subpar- music was too loud and it was way too hot and muggy, especially in July in Phoenix. No weekend mimosa deals and $39 for a bottle of champagne?? Plus an extra 5 bucks if you want juice. Blood Mary looks way better than it tastes- also bacon is good on its own why cover it in chocolate and then put it in my tomato beverage... Truffle brioche dish was mostly just chopped asparagus and bread and chicken and biscuits was very dry. My friend ordered the croque madame and asked for the Dijon mustard on the side. Our server said the Dijon mustard is in the sauce so he said he could do the sauce on the side. When she got her meal, the sauce was on the side, but the Dijon mustard was not mixed in the sauce it was on her food. No big deal but overall the food sounded better on the menu than it actually tasted. On the first day of our holiday "Eid", many people like to go out with family for breakfast. We had plans to go somewhere else, but that place failed to provide us with our expected table for 20. When we got there they said the wait would be 1-1.5 hours! We weren't prepared to have 20 people wait - including kids - for that long Eggstasy was our second option and it should have been our first! With very short notice when I called and asked for a table for 20, they said, plz give us 10 min! We made it in less than 10 but just as they promised, the table was ready on time! He place was full so we were so pleased that they were still able to have us despite how busy they were. We all were seated and given the menus. Bottles of ice cold cucumber water were all over the table. We were asked if we wanted coffee, many of us said yes and we all then placed our orders. We asked for separate checks and that was managed properly. I ordered First Street which is a chicken panini with a side of fries and my husband ordered a veggie omelette with a side of pancakes. His order also came with another side option so he picked hash browns. The food came out in pretty reasonable time. My order also came with a soup (potato and leek soup) which was creamy and delicious! The sandwich was just good, nothing extra special. My rating for it would be a 3.5. My expectations of a sandwich that has sun dried tomatoes, artichokes and basil as well as mozzarella was much higher. I didn't taste the basil which would have made the sandwich more flavorful. My husband's omelette and side of pancakes were great as per his feedback. Kaitlin our server was superb. She was very friendly and efficient. She took all our orders carefully. We had no mistakes at all despite the large group, variety of orders and separate checks! Overall, excellent service with pretty good food. Temperature in the restaurant was a little uncomfortable. They tried their best however to adjust the AC and window blinds to accommodate us better. Since I am egg sensitive, I unfortunately cannot try their egg options which could be superb. The real heartbreak was the chicken and gravy. The chicken was overcooked cardboard and completely bland. The gravy looked promising but was oddly sweet instead of savory. I haven't been to a true breakfast/brunch place in years with my weekends generally reserved for cleaning and running errands. With some time off for the holidays, I decided to take my boys here at the recommendation of a friend. To start, it's in a nice plaza with plenty of parking. We went around noon on a weekday, so there was no wait. We got a seat outside, and the weather was beautiful, as is the rest of the place. It's bright and open and very clean. The menu is extensive, almost overwhelming to be honest. They have everything from crepes to omelettes to lunch sandwiches and just as many items to drink. We settled on the chocolate covered bacon as an appetizer, stuffed brioche French toast, and a Gypsy steak skillet. My younger son ordered his usual chicken tenders and fries. When we ordered the chocolate covered bacon, the waitress warned us that it was cold and that we "might not like it" We should've heeded the warning. It was pretty much frozen ice cold and while the dark chocolate was tasty, the bacon tasty fatty and unpleasant. The part not covered in chocolate just looked gross. We finished a piece between the 3 of us and left the other 2 there. Between me and my sons, we would not order this again. The stuffed brioche French toast was delicious with the sea salt balancing the sweetness of the Nutella. But be warned, this thing is massive and eats more like a heavy dessert than a breakfast item. We chose to order an ala carte side of bacon, but it was left untouched, and at $4 for 3 small slices, we probably could have done without it. As it was, we left with half the order of French toast, which was still excellent the next day. The Gypsy steak skillet gave me mixed feelings. One, this is not a skillet like I would expect. It doesn't arrive in a sizzling skillet at all, just a normal plate. As with the French toast, the portion is huge. There must have been 3 or 4 eggs on top. The ham, cheese, mushrooms, onions, and potatoes were delicious and so flavorful. Unfortunately, the steak was the most disappointing part. Most of it was too chewy and under seasoned. For the side, I chose to go with the pancakes over the toast. They were fluffy and light and I'd highly recommend them. They also included a skewer of pineapple and berries which was sweet and refreshing with such a heavy meal. I ended up taking most of the skillet and over half the pancakes home with me. As for the chicken tenders and fries, they disappeared quickly and I had nothing but positive feedback from my chicken tender connoisseur. Overall, it was good. A little pricey for a casual breakfast unless you go ala carte, but you'll most certainly have leftovers. Our waitress was sweet and patient while we took time to decide, and came back just often enough to make sure we didn't go without anything. I would try them again, but I'd probably stick with their amazing pancakes instead. read more

Let me say the flavor great the portion size great the eggs cooked the way I like great the potatoes magnificent. We went, seated right away no long wait. Ok let me just say my expectations were low when we pulled up. Looking through the windows I was like "great, another Lubys alternative". I was wrong and I usually don't admit these types of things. Can I give six stars? Breakfast was that good. I had the Skirt Steak & Eggs. For starters, the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. I'd go back and order the steak if I was going out to an expensive steak dinner. Well worth the price. My wife had the Roasted Veggie Skillet, which I took some bites from. She is a breakfast person.
