Ever since I was a kid, I was always a fan of Filipino street food. From Barbecue to Betamax (coagulated pig's blood; it sounds disgusting, but believe me it's not) to Isaw to Kwek-Kwek, I would eat everything. I was so in love with Filipino street food that there were moments when my intestinal fortitude was tested.
Because of summer, I am having a hard time looking for Filipino street food that won't require me to bask in the sun (I don't want to get dark ugh). Good thing I found Eggstacy. Eggstacy is this really cool food stall I found in Robinsons Magnolia that can satisfy all of your Filipino street food craving. You can buy 4 pieces of Kwek-Kwek for the price of 20 pesos. They also have Kikiam, Fish Balls, Chicken Balls, and other balls you can think of.
If you pass by Eggstacy, make sure to try their fried balut or penoy (a little twist to one of our favorite Filipino meriendas). You'll be in for a great surprise! read more
