Indeed is Heartbreaking.
The egg retrieval of my surrogacy process was done at the "Dr. Padmaja Fertility" in Hyderabad, India in the end of July of 2012. If you had the same date for your egg retrieval and the same clinic and want to talk to me about your experience...Including myself, at the time there were 9 Intended parents doing egg retrieval at "Dr. Padmaja Fertility".
It took me several months to gather the strength to write down this review on Yelp.
When the reporters Sandra Bartlett from Canada and Megan Twohey from the Reuters in New York contacted me for an interview about my surrogacy experience, I denied, how could I give an interview about it if I could not even see someone with a child that tears would start coming out of my eyes non stop.
My surrogacy process was ended on the Christmas day of the year 2012. I received an email that day wishing a Merry Christmas to me and my family and on the same line they were stating Mother Nature/luck was not on my side, there was no pregnancy.
On the following day, I received an email from the CEO of Eggspecting Agency stating that I had a balance owed of $49.00 but I did not need to hurry because she covered it with her personal funds but to mail her the check whatever I could.
This was a surprise to me, because She made very clear to me that the whole egg donor process MUST be paid before the egg retrieval which happened almost 6 months before and I mailed checks of the exactly amount of each invoice the CEO of Eggspecting Agency sent me, how it was possible to still be owing $49.00? And yet another surprise, on her comments about my review on yelp she is stating that I sent her "EMAILS" asking for all my money back, maybe she is having me confused with another client because I have NEVER EVER asked her for even a single penny back.
I agree that it might not be illegal to have a sister working as an Egg Donor on your own Egg Donor Agency, the problem starts when you advertise her to the clients as SUPER Egg Donor, what automatically put her to be paid the max amount allowed by law in the United States ($10,000.00) and not to mention if this egg donor is shared by two different intended parents the agency collects two agency Fee, one from each parent. It really is a Win win situation.
* The CEO states about the Intended parent that said my egg donor was the same egg donor of another client who was staying at the same hotel he was. (I paid full amount to NOT share the eggs) was confused with the names because there were 7 egg donors there at the time and 9 Intended Parents and that my egg donor was NOT even his egg donor.
When the guy did the statement, he also said my egg donor was his egg donor at first but after receiving her personal file with all her pictures, his wife decided she wanted the other egg donor they were looking at the profiles, so he knew well my egg donor. And at that day at the clinic a used my Iphone to photograph the disgusting semen collection room and I also to record the whole conversation, even the part of the guy stating that my egg donor was also the egg donor of another Intended Parent.
And the part the CEO of Eggspecting says that the doctor clarified to me that my donor was not being shared, that did not happen, we did not see the doctor that day, she was busy doing the egg retrieval of the egg donors on the second floor.
About the number of Embryos I had for my Surrogacy process, they sent me a report of one page stating I had the total of 11 Embryos but then there was a second report with a second page stating I had 14 Embryos total.
After the first Embryo transfer when the doctor used 2 Embryos, they sent me a new report with the number of Embryos left. This report was stating I had left 9 Embryos.
The 3 Embryos from the second page report vanished and my complaint about them was in vain. Later around 3 more Embryos vanished and that's when they said there was a clerical error...
The Embryos from the second page was discarded, thrown away, only God knows what happened to them. And the information provided by the surrogacy agency was that the chances of pregnancy was on the 95% range if a previously successful egg donor on her earlier 20's was donating the eggs and that usually on the second transfer there was positive pregnancy. ( I can provide this email for whoever want to verify this statement). 99 % of all my contacts were done by emails. read more
