Not a lot to complain about here. It's not perfect, but I'm rounding up on a 4.3 out of the goodness of my heart. Mostly because of the goodness of their hash. Parking can be anxiety-inducing. I grabbed a spot just as someone pulled out of it. Many times have I driven past Eggs Up due to the line of waiting potentials. I don't wait for anything if I can help it. It was still packed on a Friday morning, but I nabbed a counter seat. Hash Benedict and fancy donuts. Well, well, look at me eating fancy donuts over here! La-di-da, Your Majesty. The donuts were light - softly crunchy, if that makes any sense. I learned quickly that using my hands was a messy mistake. Fancy donut eaters like me can't be licking their fingers in a restaurant. Use a knife and fork. Man oh man. The eggs were so fluffy. The hash was absolutely delicious. And the hash browns were fine. Nothing to crab about. Any cons here? Well yes, it took 25 minutes to get my order delivered. To their credit, they said they'd messed up my eggs and did them over. However, it was obvious my browns were the originals because while the eggs came out hot, the potatoes were lukewarm, if that. Yes, I could've said something but that would've made my wait even longer. I know they're super popular and waiting is a thing there. But, like I said, I hate waiting for things. Anyway, the workers all seemed like beautiful people. It was quite clean in there, and passing the time with the kind regular sitting next to me was a pleasure. I'm in no hurry to return. I was there using a Christmas gift card. It's a fine place with good food. It's just too popular for my taste. Don't let that keep you away. 4.3. read more

This chain breakfast\ lunch location is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Large & airy inside. Good amount of choices and many foods & beverages sounded interesting. However we were traveling & ordered a To Go order. Coffee was decent. Egg sandwiches ( mine on a waffle) were very good; However one of their items was amazing. I knew we had to try and it did not disappoint.... The Croissant-Style Donuts: House-made croissant-style donuts, served hot with powdered sugar and a caramel drizzle. These were amazing even without the caramel. I think there was a stuffing in the middle. I'll go back to Dine In when I'm back to this town or see another store somewhere else. read more

Decided to have breakfast here once again. The service is exceptional and friendly. They get alittle busy on weekends foe breakfast so expect to wait 30-45 minutes. We noticed after about 1030am a lot of tables open up. The breakfast items we ordered were all good except they all came out a bit on the cooler side probably because they wait until everything is ready to bring out the order. Also, the toast was a little on the over cooked side foe our taste. Overall, menu selection is good, but prices are a little mire than I expected. Overall, we had a good experience. read more

Entering the restaurant, I found it warm and inviting. Great friendly staff and atmosphere. Clean restrooms, clean over all. My waitress was Kali H. She was fantastic. She's very attentive. She has a great sense of humor, doesn't mind cutting a joke with you. When I return, I would ask for her. She has been with this restaurant for eight years. It's something to be said about this location. For a waitress or their I waitstaff be here more than just six months or a year. She talks highly of the ownership group as well. ( no I do not know her ). Food was served hot and delicious. Atmosphere. 8 out of 10 Quality taste of food 9 out of 10 Service friendliness of staff 9 out of 10. I visited at this location for the first time for breakfast. It's located in a strip mall just off the Main Street in Fuquay. The parking is not the greatest but I did find a spot on the side of the building. This location is smaller than the Holly Springs location I usually go to, maybe that's the reason it seemed really loud noise wise. They were full when I arrived at 9:10 so instead of waiting I sat at the bar which had only one person seated. A man took my drink order , then sweet waitress came and took my order. The wait for my food was longer than I expected. Guess I am spoiled by the other location. I had the classic with scrambled eggs, bacon, grits and a biscuit. Eggs were just ok, bacon was not warm and very "floppy" , grits were just ok and " biscuit looked more like a flat English muffin, but it tasted ok with honey poured over it. Tea was good and I didn't have to ask for a refill. I will return to the location in Holly Springs . read more

The wait times can be deceiving but they move quickly and efficiently to seat and serve you. It's always been worth the wait. I love the eggs benedict and the bowls. If you're starving and fortunate enough to walk right past the 40-minute wait line on a rainy Saturday morning, and immediately snag two seats at the bar like the hubs and I did-- you're doing something great! Eggs Up Grill is delicious and the corned beef hash is not to be missed. It's a local favorite and totally worth every bit of the hype it gets. Nice looking place and clean. They have a breakfast bar that is really interesting. People are pretty nice and although it is large, it is not so noisy. They advertise gluten free but barely anything was. I had gluten free pancakes and they are sometimes good and sometimes too doughy. My husband had sausage and cheese omelette. I ordered the classic which consisted of eggs, home fries, your choice of meat and toast. I requested my eggs scrambled with American cheese, cheddar cheese on my home fries, sausage and white toast. I also ordered a orange juice for my beverage. Loved that the toast was buttered and wrapped so perfectly. The eggs and home fries lacked seasoning. This review is for take out. The portion size was good and the food was ready on time. The flavor, however, was incredibly disappointing. Firstly, the entire thing was deconstructed. The spinach and tomato were next to a pile of plain unsalted grits. The shrimp weren't grilled but boiled. there wasn't a speck of sausage on the plate which would have saved the flavor profile. It took adding cheddar cheese and hotsauce to make it edible. Vastly disappointed is an understatement. On a positive note, if you are salt restricted, this should be safe to eat. You cannot really go wrong with anything on the menu, it serves Coca-Cola products as of this review, and it has enough seating for large parties. I am withholding a star simply because it doesn't have anything to write home about. Everything is good, but nothing really stands out as a must have. The location also is too small considering the demand. It feels like ever time we come we are up for a 30 minute wait. My husband and I wanted to go for a destination, breakfast location. We were headed to the Fuquay area. I googled breakfast restaurants. This is how I found eggs up grill. The parking was very convenient. It was Saturday morning so we were expecting it to be busy and it was pretty busy we walked in the host, took her name and told us she would text when our table was available. She told us it would be about a 20 minute wait and she was correct during that time we know over to TJ Maxx to occupy our time we had a seat and quickly our server.Kali came over, brought our coffee along with a glass of water.Kali was knowledgeable of the menu and made suggestions and helpful hints. The restaurant is fairly large, but was still able to absorb a lot of the sound so it was not super loud. I ordered a steak omelette. The service, the food, the ambiance is casual which is great cause no one is here for judgements we're here to hang out and enjoy our meals, been coming here since 2021 when we moved here from NY and found this place to be the closest to a Diner back home, they have a little bit of everything which is a + I love the Crab Benedict's with the home fries and my wife usually gets the BLT which is very good! Once again, eggs up does not disappoint! I took my mom for a visit and we were seated quickly. The waitress was extremely attentive and made sure everything came out quickly.
