This is one of the worst places to get food. I've had their breakfast bowl, which the potatoes were cold and old. The toppings they used had to be from a couple days ago. We love this little local spot! It is open as soon as our kiddos are up and adding pancakes to our entree is always a MUST. I love that they have this option--it is so easy and convenient. They have a variety of items but we find that the basic breakfast options are the BEST so we never steer from that! The staff is always so wonderful and pleasant, we have been a few times and we love to see their familiar faces (they always remember us and it makes our kiddos feel special). You can't go wrong with anything on this menu. The Turkey bacon was crispy. The portions were hefty. If you want a lighter option, I would recommend a breakfast sandwich (the Egg Bomb BLT was amazing) or an omelet like the Goodness Gracious. Food was so good we didn't even take pics to share! The shrimp and grits were awesome with some grilled bread. The chicken and waffles were perfection, crispy and fluffy. The hot honey with the chicken and waffles is crave able and not very spicy. Coffee was good, as always. They have cows milk and almond milk; hoping for oat milk in the future. One time we went and didn't have to wait long even though it was busy and this time we went for Friday lunch and we sat immediately! Ordered a French vanilla ice coffee and it was delicious to start. For the entree, I ordered the goodness gracious omelet and well goodness gracious!!! It was so delicious and filling and huge!! Not to mention another reason to love eggs up is that they have nutrition facts online and that's a huge bonus to me. Our waiter was also super cordial and attentive despite it not being busy! We stopped by here on our way to the Outlets for a day of shopping. I joined waitlist and arrived in the time stated to grab a table. However one there they could not find my name and had to wait about 15 minutes for a seat. The host explained to me that they had a new system and did not use Yelp's join the waitlist software anymore so that's why I did not show up. After seating, the waitress came over and took our order with water and coffee. We ordered shrimp and grits with egg whites and corned beef hash. The shrimp and grits was very watery and with two shrimp in it, the egg whites were fluffy and delish. The corn beef hash got good reviews along with the potatoes and eggs. We are a Sunday breakfast family. Not brunch. We go to very early mass then head to Eggs Up for caffeine and eggs. It's quite popular, but it's spacious enough to easily accommodate the families and friends that go there. The menu has enough options to please a diverse crowd, portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. And most importantly, it tastes good, too. But the real crown jewel here is the people. The servers are kind, willing to make minor adjustments to orders (extra crispy potatoes, please!) and always ready with a quick beverage refill. I initially heard of this place because a friend loved going to the East Cobb location before the pandemic. I got the Atlanta Dining Out Passbook this year and once I saw it in there, I decided to give it a try. WAIT TIME: We went on a early Sunday afternoon and were seated immediately. There were two larger parties there at the time but it wasn't very packed outside of those two groups. We were hungry so this was greatly appreciated. PRESENTATION: Upon entering the restaurant, I was a bit turned off by how dirty the floors looked and how poor the tables were cleaned between customer transitions. DRINKS/FOOD: The menu at this location was slightly different from the one seen online and the Roswell location. They don't have alcoholic beverages and the drinks they do have are pretty standard. I was a little disappointed but I still looked forward to the food. The food came out at a reasonable time, it looked very appetizing upon arrival. The Loaded Home Fry was very average and tasted a bit bland. I had to add salt, pepper, and ketchup to make it a bit more flavorful. I did ask for the sausage on the side since I'm a pescatarian and I normally just pass it to someone at my table. The sausage did smell good but I'd rate this particular dish a 6/10 overall. The Cinnamon Swirl French Toast by itself was good however, the side of eggs and sausage links were "ehh" according to my boyfriend. He gave his dish a 6/10 overall as well. STAFF: Staff was very friendly and attentive! The vibe was definitely positive and the customers were very familiar and happy with their servers & other staff members. I enjoyed the hospitality. When Eggs Up opened in Alpharetta, they advertised 'omelettes any time'. Went there for Sunday brunch and ordered a 'build your own' Chose mushrooms, peppers, onions and cheddar cheese. Also came with home fries and buttered toast. As soon as I tried the home fries, I knew I was in for a disappointment. They were barely luke warm and were basically just small pieces of potato. The omelette was as flat as a pancake and very small, with the tiniest of the requested ingredients. Also just barely warm. Buttered toast had a smidgen of butter with no extra butter on the table. I'd highly recommend the western bagel as it's essentially an omelet on a bagel and under $6. This is one of the best casual breakfasts I've had out at a restaurant. This is definitely worth stopping in. It's inside the Publix shopping center. It has decent parking. They offer sit down, bar area, and take out. Come grab breakfast or lunch I don't think you'll be disappointed. They offer a wide range of options from pancakes to waffles to French toast to biscuit and gravy to omelets to yogurt parfaits to lunch and much more. Don't forget to try a hot chocolate! I was uncomfortable. This time my coffee was served with pink lipstick on the coffee mug (pink is not my color). My breakfast date silverware was dirty. Those are big turnoffs for us. Sets the stage. The meal itself was good. Although they could have served it on a bigger plate. Everything (sausage, bacon, eggs, toast, grits) were served on a too small plate. Very crowded. Not appealing to the eye either. The waitress was sweeping the carpet and then dumping the dust pan into the garbage just four feet from our table. Doesn't anyone have a clue here?
