Moving to Plantation is not only an adjustment to the environment but find new restaurants to satisfy our taste is quite challenging. Looking though the many options for Chinese food, we decided to give this place a try.. We ordered pick up since unpacking took precedence over sit down dining. Ordered the ribs, special noodle bowl and hot a sour soup.. OMG!! Everything was so flavorful and fresh, the portions were huge and the service during pick up was so friendly! Small whole in a wall that we found by a fluke. Closest Chinese food to NY Chinese food. Not greasy or overwhelming seasoned with soy sauce. We have gotten dinner here more than a handful. My hubby gets the General Tso Chicken dinner combo witch comes with fried rice and an egg roll. Enough food to feed 2/3 people. My daughter and I share the pork lo mien dinner combo that also comes with fried rice and an egg roll. We all share a small wonton soup that surprisingly can feed all 3 of us. They fill the soup with lots of wontons, broth and pieces of chicken breast. So yummy! Everything is so good and cooked really well. The chefs are in the back hard at work and the lady in the front is so nice she has your order ready once you pick it up. We live about 30 min away but when we get home that food is hot and ready to eat. There is never a need to reheat. They are wizards at packing the food so it stays in place and stays hot. Also try the ice tea. So refreshing and it's ready to go in there fridge. Def worth a trip to eat here. Good Chinese food is so hard to find, so we so happy we found this place. So finding decent Chinese food in Fort Lauderdale, or Plantation, is no easy task. I used yelp to help me find this restaurant. It was the only Chinese restaurant that got more than three stars and now I understand why. The food we ordered was superb! Their super special fried rice was phenomenal! The portions were very hearty, and although they're not delivering at this time, getting there was a breeze. We had steamed dumplings which were great, Kung pow chicken which was also amazing, and a wonton-egg drop soup which was new, unusual, and very delicious. There were four of us that each ordered something different and each of us was very satisfied. The shrimp fried rice, as many other people have commented, was fabulous as well. I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant if you live in the area or even if you have to drive 30 minutes to get there. It's worth it! read more

Eggroll Kingdom does along with the best wonton soup you will eat in South FL. I'm not much for chicken wings but their giant, tender delicious wings are hard to top anywhere. Great first service, hot and fresh food. I only wish it tasted better. We ordered online and got the sesame chicken and orange chicken dinner plate along with an order of spareribs. For roughly $30 that is ALOT of food. The portions were massive and included a little crispy vegetable roll. Needless to say, we both had left overs. This is all sounds great right? Huge portions, great service, fresh food, so why three stars dude?! It was the TASTE! Everything tasted off. Like the orange chicken was close to what you'd expect but then you'd have strange after tastes almost like to much sweet chili sauce. The sesame was similar. Started out tasting good but then had notes of bourbon brown sugar. I don't know if that makes any sense to you but it was a disappointment. I saved mine for left overs but my partner threw most of hers out. Pork spare ribs were pretty good. I'm use to New England style Chinese which so far has knocked south Florida out of the park. This is the first time taking a chance on this place. I LOVED IT. a co-worker and I decided to treat ourselves to lunch, OMG it was AMAZING!!!!! First time in my life that Chinese food doesn't give me the shits. That speaks for itself. The eggrolls are perfect. Their special fried rice is not dripping in grease, nor is it that weird yellow color, it's what it should be - delicious! Plus they're very generous with the amount of shrimp they put in. We had some chicken wings and they were yummy AF. The winner, however, were their steamed shrimp dumplings. Holy hell... we both agree that they were the best dumplings we've ever had. I wish I would have taken a picture of them but they were practically gone in a matter of seconds... lol. I passed by here before stopping at the drive-in for a movie. I was looking for a good Chinese restaurant and this one came across and I gave it try because of the good reviews. My favorite Chinese dish is Sesame Chicken, so of course, I ordered it as dinner combination with chicken fried rice. To be honest, it had a good taste but I hate when instead of having chicken chunks, they are chicken fat chunks. I was so disappointed because there was no meat at all. For the chicken fried rice, the same thing, just a few little pieces of chicken mixed in. It came with 1 eggroll and 2 krab ragoons that were good though. It's a strange place that is a walk-up window only (thick glass), where you get your food and give your payment through a sliding safety drawer, and the woman inside talks to you holding a two-way police style radio. I guess it's a high-crime neighborhood. Nevertheless, we have tried many local Chinese food places, and found this to be the best of a mediocre bunch. We love the food but the service is awful! We had a delivery on Jan 1st 2018 where they left out 2 orders. We called and they said they would send someone back. On NEW YEARS DAY! I wouldn't give this place even one star if that were an option. I ordered almost $40 in food forty-five minutes ago for delivery. I ordered online AND THEN I CALLED right after I placed the order to make sure everything was okay. I was told to hang on a minute, then she came back and said it was fine and she had the order and then hung up. So, now that it's almost time to receive my food, I got my cell phone so that I could enter the gate code for the complex to let them in and I saw that after I talked to them, they called back and left a message saying they don't deliver this far. I called and asked how far they deliver (I'm 10 minutes away...5.9 miles) and they said that even 3 or 4 miles is too far. The website said nothing about this and there were no red flags on the order confirmation...AND I CALLED....I SPECIFICALLY CALLED TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OKAY. I didn't answer when they called because I was in the shower and didn't hear the phone. So I've been waiting all this time for our food only to find out that we're not getting any. I asked to speak to the manager and she just repeated the same thing. Instead of acknowledging THEIR ERROR and making an exception and delivering just this once, they said they're "sorry"....and now we're hungry and have to order from somewhere else and wait again. THERE SHOULD BE SOMETHING POSTED ON THE SITE REGARDING THE VERY SMALL DELIVERY AREA. Or maybe...just maybe...when people call to check on the order they just placed they might tell you then that they don't deliver that far. read more
