In the back third of this huge building you'll see a caged off area. This is where competitors fine tune their edge. Special equipment that is beyond the scope of the less determined resides there. Look, but unless you are serious about commitment...leave it there. The main gym is like working your way through a catalog of top tier equipment that DOES produce results. My personal favorite are the Nautilus machines. For me, they produce noticeable results far sooner than any other. Keep on working, they keep on producing. They have a lot of the machines I like so that's a plus. The owner was nice but wouldn't let my wife and I have a single free day to try out the gym. Felt the pressure and caved to get a membership. Canceled after 2 months. Regular fees etc associated with the process. He seemed to be intense and want to nickel and dime for ever last penny which ended up costing him a lot more than the 16$ day pass we would've gotten "free". Just go to your apt gym or another one. Also it's on the third floor and so if you drop and weight at all they get mad.

I'm generally a member of the Georgetown location, but prior to that I did frequent the Rincon location and it is definitely one of the best in my eyes. It is not a very large location, but there's always ample parking available. This gives me great ease of being able to get get in and get out quickly. The employees are always pretty friendly. It's always kept pretty clean and I'm always able to get onto my desired equipment pretty easily without having to wait for other members. It's never really congested and there's always a nice flow of members. I do miss the 30 minute room, as most locations have did away with this feature. But I do understand that overtime they do have to change with what customers are looking for.

But found XP Fitness and I'm super glad I did. The owner quickly got me set up with a day pass and made it clear his goal was for the gym to be inclusive and welcoming to everyone regardless of your fitness goals. Really friendly and kind. He showed me to the powerlifting room which had all kinds of bars, power bars, competition bench, Thompson fat pads, platforms, and rogue power racks (and chalk!). The gym was clean, had great machines selections (always excited to see a belt squat). Would 100% recommend this gym to anyone looking. Wish I had this gym near my own home town!
