The manager told me it's being taken care of, but after a whole month, I was still charged the regular price. Now I'm moving and cancellation seems tricky. Apparently, you can only sign up at the studio but you CANNOT cancel your membership at the studio in person. They won't give you the cancellation form; instead you have to email the studio manager asking for the paperwork. I did, but so far no reply to my email. I'll give it 48 hours to see if she will ever reply to me. It's a bit aggravating. If you can join in and complete the paperwork in person, what on earth is preventing them from allowing you to cancel the membership and complete the paperwork in person? None other than making it difficult for you to cancel. Overall, it's a solid place. I love the classes and really like the coaches, especially coach Ashley.

I usually try to choose Susie or Maggie's classes because they tend to correct me when I'm not getting the "move" right. I need that correction. There are younger instructors that are cute and obviously know what they are doing, but they tend to be more "hands off" than I want in an in-person class. I really like the fact that they have instructors that appeal to different needs. It can be difficult to get the Wed classes I need due to my schedule. This is because I have the lowest level (4 times a month) membership, and the higher level memberships get to pick classes before I do. But even with my schedule limitations, I've been able to improve over the last year, and I'm glad I joined.

John also led the sessions I attended. After a brief warm-up, each session consisted of a variety of exercises and drills to engage just about every part of your body. Everyone was sweating and, being 'a bit out of shape', I was very tired after each session. John takes his job seriously and doesn't fool around! He also breaks-up the workouts with a joke or some humor to lighten things a bit. Thanks John for your and your club's hospitality. I look forward to seeing you next time I'm in the Low Country.
