I understand that maybe his normal crowd may do that but us that come 3 times a week once a year are not the reason. very disrespectful for him to assume it was us or that he recognized us. will more than likely find a new gym to use vacationing. if you're into any kind of powerlifting or strength training I do not recommend this place.

I wanted to share a…read morequick PSA for anyone visiting the Hilton Head Island (HHI) location--especially since many people vacation here and may want to keep up their fitness routine. Unlike other studios I've visited across the country--from New England to Iowa to Florida--this location ASSIGNS your starting station. At every other studio, it's always been first come, first served. I've tested this workout in every variation, and I personally get the best results when I start on the treadmill. That's why I got up early on my day off, drove 15 minutes to the studio, and arrived 15 minutes ahead of class--only to be surprised that I was starting on the floor. When I asked to change, they would not allow it. It is worth mentioning that I have been to this studio a few years ago and that was not their policy then so it appears to be a more recent change. I contacted the studio manager and was told that they prioritize local members' preferences due to the high number of visitors. While I can understand wanting to accommodate regular members, I was disappointed this policy wasn't communicated up front. I had to book over the phone due to a glitch in the app, and no one mentioned it. Visitors pay for classes just like regulars and deserve the same experience. If I show up late, that's on me--but in this case, I did everything right and still didn't get the workout I planned for. To offer some perspective, I frequently attend OTF studios in Orlando, which sees over 75 MILLION visitors a year--so I am sure their studios get far more visitors - and they do not assign stations in this way. Everyone gets the same fair shot to start where they want. For my second class reserved at HHI location, I noted my preference to start on the treadmill, and while I appreciated that the studio called me 30 minutes before class to let me know they couldn't honor that, so I chose to cancel instead. This assignment policy appears unique to the HHI location. Just as local members have preferences, so do visiting members--so I'd encourage anyone booking here to be aware of this in advance. It really should be communicated on their website so hopefully this is a good PSA. Otherwise I will say I found the studio to be clean but just a frustrating experience that could have been avoided.

It has taken me too long to write a review of this place, but I can't say enough good things about…read moreit. Not all OTFs are created equally and this one exceeds the standard. To start, Mira and Abi are both wonderful at managing the office and helping the customer (me) with pretty much anything I ever needed. Including most recently when I moved and needed my account frozen. Very responsive, and not to mention professional and kind. On top of this, coach Chris and Lexi are SOOOO fantastic and I have never enjoyed working out more or looked forward to waking up at an ungodly hour like I did on their coaching days. It felt very much like a community rather than a gym and that was great for someone looking to motivate themself like I was. This was my first orange theory experience and safe to say it has set a very high standard. I hated to leave it when we moved but it was integral to my fitness journey still today. Don't hesitate--join!!!
