In a nutshell, Scott Cooper did an OUTSTANDING job and we are thankful that we found Two Men and A Paintbrush! Scott and his partner painted each of our walls by hand (double coated) and each room turned out fabulous. They took great care in moving our furniture and covering all of the carpeted areas. It was a very smooth engagement and we had no issues. There were a couple of very minor touch-ups that I requested after he completed the project and he was great about following up to ensure that he took care of this for us (amazing as most contractors are long gone after you give them the check). All in all, we found Scott to be very professional, reliable, and thorough with his work. He is also very reasonably priced compared to other painters in the area. Scott is by far the best contractor that we have ever used and he is our go to guy for all of our future painting projects! We highly recommend him and will be referring him to others.

Mike (Lux Painting) and another company provided similar/competitive estimates, but we decided to hire Mike as he did not have a single bad review. After agreeing to a date to start the work, Mike texted me to re-confirm the start date as the date got closer, which I really appreciated. I have been reaching out to all the contractors we hired about a week before just to make sure we are still good to go, but I didn't have to with Mike, which was nice. He showed up on time with his dad, they did an amazing job and finished on time. I kept emphasizing that he only had to do the work we were paying him for, but he went ahead and took care of extra things beyond scope to make sure our place looked nice. My husband and I were very impressed and happy with the result. Another bonus, Mike and his dad were very nice, friendly and such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend hiring Lux Painting - So much that I wish I had more paint jobs for them, but will definitely keep them in mind in the future and will recommend to anyone in my circle looking to hire professional painters.

He arrived on time, was very friendly and professional throughout the project, and did an amazing painting job. One of the things that really stood out was that he helped us avoid using the wrong paint color. He even took the time to run to the store to pick up the correct color so the job would look perfect. His attention to detail and customer-focused approach made the whole experience stress‑free. We would absolutely rehire him again if we need any future painting work and highly recommend him!

If you need a reliable, skilled, multi-talented painting contractor, Kevin Johnson is your man!…read more When my house was due for an exterior paint job, I turned to Yelp to find a contractor who was skilled, reliable, versatile, and affordable. My house required some minor exterior carpentry repairs prior to painting, so I included photos of the carpentry work that needed to be done when I sent my project off to bid. Most of the painters replied that I needed to hire my own carpenter - they just applied paint. But Kevin Johnson does it all. As noted here, Kevin's brother is a skilled carpenter and multi-craftsman who does some work for Kevin. Kevin's Yelp reviews are excellent, and he seemed to embody the kind of person who would be perfect for my job. Kevin came to my house quickly to measure for the job to prepare a detailed quote. Nothing fazed him. He was confident that he could repair all of the items that were required for this job. His price was excellent, and he was able to start in about a week. Kevin is the definition of professionalism, from estimate, to contract, to execution and completion. His team fully prepped the house, including, pressure washing, sealing, sanding, patching, and carpentry repair. No shortcuts were taken. He removed all external fixtures before painting, too. He then applied multiple coats of paint, and cleaned everything up when done. I only needed to pay a small deposit. He invoiced me for all of the work when done.
