There are better Turkish grocery stores to visit in the neighborhood than this one. On the plus side they had corn when I couldn't find it in the Albert Heijn anymore and they have a large selection of interesting bulk teas and Turkish bread and foods.
But on the downside there were fruit flies buzzing around the fruit in the back of the store and some of the strawberries I bought here were rotten and a pack of apricots I bought were 4 months past their expiration date. That was a pretty unpleasant experience, biting into a dried apricot that tasted like it was fermented and rotting. They did give me my money back for them but it's something they could have caught if they were paying attention. Their food selection was also not very accessible to non-Turkish people since I couldn't tell what a lot of the stuff in the store was or how to use it. read more
