I've used EE Armored Protection for 23 years and have been extremely pleased with them and my alarm system along with their costs. They have excellent customer service, and everyone I've ever spoken with in the office has always been very friendly and helpful and make sure they get what you need. I had a service tech (John) come to my house last week (June 2026) to solve an error code in my keypad. He ended up basically upgrading part of my system, by choice, so I wouldn't get the same error code again. He was very friendly and respectful and did a super job. I've been a customer of EE Armored since my home was built in 2006. Our contractor had EE install a hardwired system, and we had the option of using them or getting someone else to do the monitoring. We stuck with EE and have no complaints after 7 years. We've been fortunate to never have a real emergency, but EE's service has proven reliable through several false alarms (like me accidentally keying in the panic code, resulting in police on my doorstep in minutes). Recently they installed a cellular adapter to my system, allowing us to dump the monopoly phone company for good. I'm quite pleased as a customer. read more

The owner of this company did not honor what my new home contract said in terms of what the builder included for electrical and low voltage wiring and service. He is very confrontational and unpleasant to work with. It's a joke in our neighborhood how terrible this guy is, but the joke is on all of us. The only way we can maintain our new home warranties is by continuing to fight battles with him. If you have a choice, pick someone else! read more

This company has horrible customer service. They say they match prices but after you have done lots of work and find a company that is cheaper they don't really do what they say. They also laugh when you tell them what company you are going with. When asked to speak to the manager about the unprofessional attitude of the employee the lady said she was the owner. Definitely confirmed I made the right decision by changing companies. Not sure if she is truly the owner but glad to not be a customer anymore. We have used this company for years....equipment installation in three homes and monitoring. I have never experienced anything but the best customer service. Polite, on time and they know what they are doing. Questions are answered in a timely manner and we have never had a problem with the office staff. Loved the call ahead that the technician would be there in 30 mins. Made it very convenient to plan our day. He was very polite and thorough. No mess was left behind after installation. Worst customer service ever! After calling for alarm monitoring, the tech was 2 1/2 hours late for the appointment. Alarm will not work after he left. Update! So I tried to terminate my contract but was told by several people in the office I would have to pay the whole year out. I have read through my contract and there is no provision in the document that states I have to pay for the whole year. It only states there is a $75 termination fee. I spoke with the office manager Karen and she was very unhelpful telling me I would have to pay out the year in addition to the $75 termination fee. Today I called the office again asking if I could get the name and number of whoever ran the company and I was told they are unable to give out that information. What kind of business is that. I have now filed a complaint with the BBB. read more

Called and inquired about this company and customer service was very poor. The person answered the phone could not answer my questions and I had to call back. The person who could not answer my questions said they were swamped with calls. It made me wonder if I needed them would they be there or if my alarm was going off would they be to busy to respond. We all know this is not good and the builder should consider using someone else because it is making the builder look bad. I agree with Wendy K from her posting on 5/8/2014. Horrible customer service and faulty equipment. My alarm all of a sudden went off in the middle of the afternoon and nothing was tripped. Called the company to make sure the police were not alerted and was put on hold for 5 minutes. When someone finally answered, she told me to contact the call center and hung up...didn't even confirm that I had the number (which I didn't). Police came...looking for a new alarm company effective tomorrow after 7 years of service. read more

Be warned, this is probably the most horrible company you will deal with in a long long time. I have been a customer since 2014, I have always noticed that they hardly follow up on any issue, you have to keep calling them until you find the right person to resolve your issue, bad customer service. In 2016 the alarm triggered while we were home and no one was either at the doors or windows inside and outside. I immediately called to notify them of the false trigger and that all is well. The promised me to cancel the trigger to the police, however some minutes later the police were knocking on my door. I called them again and spoke to the person who had promised to cancel trigger to the police, he apologized and promised to investigate the cause of false trigger and get back to me. This never happened, they never contacted me. Then comes time for renewal, they sent the usually renewal notice. I did not renew. They kept sending the notice for months past the renewal date. I called them that I am surprised they still continued to send me renewal letters when I have not renew the contract and they certain have not come in to do the annual checks they perform to make sure the system works well. The horrible customer service representative I spoke to told me my contract auto-renewed. I asked her why nobody called me to notify me of the auto-renewal prior to the renewal, she responded it is not their responsibility, but my own responsibility to call them to cancel if I did not want to renew. I asked her what about the annual checks on the system that were not performed, she said that does not matter too. When I told her about their bad customer service by not calling me back to let me know what let to the false alarm trigger and if it has been resolved, she told me I should have called them to complain the did not call me, I reminded her I have already called them 3 times on the issue she said I should have still called. This company is just out to collect money and not ready to attend to any issues their customers face. read more
