I have been shopping at The Attic for years. There is always a terrific ecclectic mix of all kinds…read moreof things, but especially clothing, accessories and jewelry. My most purchased items are jewelry. It was not until recently that I discovered it was a consignment shop. I had quite a few things I wanted to sell and realized I could do it at The Attic. I had a great experience with the consignment process, very simple. I received wonderful one on one attention with my things and any follow up questions I had were quickly answered. The whole staff is super nice and helpful and they play great music in the shop, which always makes for a pleasant shopping or browsing experience. I will continue to patronize The Attic whether I have any consignments or not. It's a terrific place in a fabulous location. Love it there, it has such a great vibe!

The workers always are pre occupied and doesn't greet you ( well me anyway). I was in the back looking at items with a worker 2 feer from me and she never acknowledged my existence until I greeted her. I've been in customer service for over 30 years and kindness, like honey, will draw more people, not bees. Be a little more welcoming .

I remember my father shopping here for many years. This is a fairly high-end men's store and, I…read moreadmit, I was stunned by the pricing when I first started to look around. But I needed a suit for a wedding in Chicago. I went in there on the 7 days before the wedding, and I was only going to be in Easton for a few more days (counting the weekend). The store owner remembered my father well and we had a nice time reminiscing. He really remembered my dad well. It would have been at least ten years since he shopped there. When I told him what I needed he immediately pulled out the perfect suit. At that point, being Friday, I told him I needed it on Monday since I was flying out on Tuesday. I don't know what their typical turnaround time is for something like this but it was clearly much shorter than it typically takes. They had their tailor at the store and he didn't work weekends or Mondays. They asked him if he could come in on Monday to get this done, and he agreed. We also outfitted the suit with a new shirt and tie. The total was more than I planned on spending but I need a new suit anyway. This one could be used for any affair wear you need to wear a suit. I tried it on and it fit like a glove. Wore it to the wedding and had lots of compliments about it. I'm thrilled with the service I received and would highly recommend, if you are in the Easton, PA area, to stop in.

Man, do I hate shopping for clothes…read more I think this all stems from my long and fraught history with The Lehigh Valley Mall. When I was a youngster Paul K., I would spend what felt like eons at that damn mall, pretending I wasn't with my mom, shopping in stores that sold dumb clothes in sizes that never fit me, and wanting to be almost anywhere else (even the Whitehall Mall). After college, I dabbled in online shopping, which always felt to me a little like ordering GrubHub. The pictures look amazing, but then the stuff shows up at your door and you're often disappointed. Sure, I no longer had to go to the mall (any mall!) and I found clothing brands I liked, but the fit was usually off and, also like GrubHub, who is really going to send back an order you don't like? So when assembly88 launched during the early Downtown Allentown revitalization it was like it opened for me. Santo, the owner, had not only curated a varied and extensive selection of really cool clothing, he had placed it all in a space that was everything The Lehigh Valley Mall is not: welcoming, organized, and low-pressure. During the many years I've been shopping here, I've discovered brands like United by Blue, Gitman Bros., and Vuori. Their sales are frequent. The inventory is always fresh. And when Santo isn't there, his staff knows their stuff. And if all that sounds like I love shopping shop for clothes now, well, I'll admit that that's partly true. Yes, I love shopping for clothes now, but only at assembly88.

Great store for casual and business casual clothing. Very nice selection of clothing and shoes…read more Stop by and check it out.

Ask for Fred! If…read moreyou are looking for professional guidance and recommendations, with a lot of knowledge and background while making your decisions for menswear, AND want passion to boot, Fred is your guy. From the moment we walked in the door, he was quick to assess our needs and make us feel like we were his sole focus (something the world could use a little more of in the service industry). In a day when you can shop anywhere, it's qualities like that which will set them apart and be a return stop for years to come. Quality service over quantity. Fred's efforts helped guide us through multiple decisions and although he's super experienced, it was the smile that made the difference. What a breath of fresh air. I hope he's recognized for those qualities because it matters. Thanks Fred! We appreciate all your help today. (So much that I purposedly signed on to leave a review even though my husband did already.)

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience working with Aaron and the finished product(s) received…read moreare certainly worth my time to compose, especially given the time invested by the craftsman. This was my first experience into the world of bespoke clothing - and I was overwhelmed to say the least. At our first meeting, Aaron walked me step-by-step through the entire process, the fabrics, and style options. He was wholly patient with my inexperience in custom garment-making, took time to educate, and fully answered my questions. He did not try to upsell - Aaron listened to what I wanted, and made corresponding recommendations, which included explanations as to why a concept I had might / might not be the best option. Aaron was up-front regarding costs, and there were no hidden fees. Due to current events, there were delays due to supply chain issues, and Aaron never kept me in the dark, nor made excuses. He communicated regularly and also did what he felt was appropriate to help 'make things right' due to the delay - two customer service skills sorely lacking these days. Delivery and fitting was a breeze and a much more pleasant experience than going to an off-the-rack, big name store. The fit was excellent - literally built for me. The level of detail of each garment is simply amazing - from pick stitching, to fit, to lining, to monograming, and even contrasting shirt buttons. Finally, I found Aaron's up-front manner and style extremely refreshing. All the attributes listed above build strong customer bonds, and I am already planning my next appointment. I would highly recommend Aaron to anyone seeking bespoke garments, made with an exceptional level of skill and pride. You will not be disappointed.

I thought it was strange that he sent multiple pictures of himself when sending us the directions to the parking area in the alley. Not only was it nowhere near set up for tailoring, but there was a cat hidden somewhere, and he was cooking his food in his half kitchen when we arrived. We walked down a long hallway to this closed off room, full of cat hair. We had it all over our clothes when we left. My sister and I are allergic & were having bad reactions when we left. The island counter top was too dirty to lean on. He had these big slabs of wood piled up in the middle of the floor, telling us not to trip over them. He only had this one little sheet covered corner for one person to change. The entire space looked cluttered, dangerous, and nothing similar to a professional workspace. While we were there he insulted us with his unprofessional, biased opinions and assumptions. He talked down on the suits we brought in and clearly just didn't know what he was doing or talking about. He claimed our suits weren't of quality material that he normally works with and talked down to us as if we were bums or couldn't afford to get any work done by him. Idk if it was a racist thing or he just needed money. He tried arguing back & forth with me when I had enough & I told him about his poor behavior. He let the disrespect carry on for a while, trying to go back and forth with me before he began profusely apologizing and offering to make my stepson and husband brand new suits to make up for his unprofessionalism. He must not have had any clients at the time because he was trying to squeeze us for $200 adjustments per suit. We literally ended up taking them to a cleaners because his service and experience was so horrible & we only paid $45 to have it perfectly tailored & pressed.
