Easy to find location once you've negotiated your way through the touristy portion. Ample and easy parking. They have an incredibly good selection of new and used equipment. You'll find bargains here, but no junk. Customer service is really good at reading the room. They politely greet you and give you time to assess before asking if you'd like further assistance. They do offer fitting service for free with the implied agreement you will make the purchase from them. Seeing as their prices were the same as Amazon, and they have a 90 exchange program you'd be a fool to not buy from them. First off, I would like to thank D.K., Jojo, and Roger for being absolutely spectacular. I came in this past weekend looking to purchase new irons with little knowledge of what I was looking for. D.K. worked with me for about an hour, trying to find clubs that best suited me. He was completely honest in his help and rather than pointing me into the direction of more expensive clubs, he kept my price range in mind the entire time. My son and I drove 120 miles to Nashville specifically to shop at the Edwin Watts Golf store near the Opry Mills hotel. I had been a regular customer at your Charleston SC store purchasing two sets of clubs there. I planned to buy a set of Callaway Paradigm irons, a 5 Wood and a driver. I asked two employees for assistance with a 5 wood and a hybrid, the first was too engaged in the Kentucky Florida game to help. The second was pissed off at me because I was looking at the Used and demo clubs and got them out of order. Well. I took my business to Dicks, and will continue to do so in the future. You lost a regular customer over these two rude (I am being polite) employees. read more

I purchased a Titleist bag from this store in April of 2021. Just over a year later, the dividers in the bag ripped from the bottom. The employees there said there is nothing they can do. I will never make another purchase from Edwin Watts. read more

Stopped in the store before we headed home. It was very close to our Wyndham Resort. We found all of Nashville to be very friendly, courteous, and helpful during our stay there--until we walked into Edwin Watts Golf. Three employees behind the counter when we walked in. No hello, hi ya'll, or what can we help you find today. Nothing! We walked around for awhile looking at a few clubs, some clothing, etc. Nothing! My husband even went into the putting area and a worker came into the area. Never once acknowledge that my husband was trying out a few putters. Finally, we headed out the door and my husband said something about southern hospitality at which time one of the workers behind the counter said to us to "have a good one". It will be interesting to see if the store is still in business next time we visit Nashville. We won't be doing business there, that's for sure. read more

If a negative star was an option I would use it. Yesterday on my way flying out of Nashville I stopped in to see what the store had to offer, well small but options. BUT NOT A SINGLE PERSON THAT COUPD HELP. I think I counted 4 or 5 workers. Then it hit me, they were busy ripping off a poor guy in the hitting bay. Yes if he wants to waste his money let him. But the way these scummy car salesmen treated this poor guy. Telling him he had a swing in there somewhere just needs practice. Telling him he had a 280 carry drive, when I didn't see one hit that would roll out 180 and never got 20 feet off the ground. This guy was buying a full set, a putter, a driver. Ok ok so let him, but then I hear the sales guy say, do you have a 3 wood, the individual ask what would I use that for. Give me a break, let the guy go learn how to play with the overpriced unforgiving shit you just "fit" him in and come back for a 3w when you can play. Nope salesman runs over picks out a $280 Taylormade NeW cause yea he needs new. And says try this. Guy tees it up Like a driver (hint number one) the salesman stops him and say no off the ground, says you will use this on par 5s second shot. I'm 16 and this place is really nice they have a great selection of new and used clubs and even apparel. I spent my Christmas money on some very nice clubs for a great price. They let me demo the clubs and they even helped me with my swing. They even gave me a discount on my final purchase and the staff was very friendly, I really encourage people in the area to visit Edwin Watts and if your looking for western apparel DON'T go to Trail West which is in the same strip mall. They have golf stuff, which is nice. But here's the deal. I called ahead and asked the guy about a particular pair of golf shoes and a new putter. I was about to spend some money there. I told the guy I was coming in, I am also friendly on the phone and in person. I arrived and told the same guy I had called about the putter and he showed me the See More putters and said "give it a try" then walked away to never be seen again. I tried out some putters for about 20 min, but the guy never came back. I had questions and wanted to see about getting a Super Stroke grip as well as look into some shoes and some golf pants. I was ready to buy things. If they didn't have it I would have ordered it through them. All if they had just pretended like they wanted me for a customer. But they ignored me even though the store only had a few other customers in it. Crumby experience. Maybe it was because I wasn't wearing golf clothes? Because I don't look "golfer" enough? But that is ridiculous. I play golf and they would have gotten a happy, repeat customer out of me. But instead, they have someone who will go anywhere else but Edwin's from now on. I also called them to nicely let them know about my bad experience so they were aware, and the guy made up a story about how all the employees were probably busy changing lightbulbs while I was in there.
