Went to PGA Superstore to buy my wife a full set of clubs. Salesmen were apathetic and offered minimal advice. Went over to Edwin Watts and the experience was a night and day difference. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. For those reasons, they got my money and Superstore didn't. read more

I'm torn between wanting to write an honest review. But scared because of the service I've received. I returned a bunch of stuff bought just only a day or two ago. The guy That all this golf stuff was for just didn't want it anymore. I thought he kept one of the shirts but I didn't check. Only when I got to the store I realized he had put it all back for me to return. The cashier started firing all these questions and I was just confused. He also asked me if they were used. I assumed he tried them on so I said they were tried on but never worn worn. You could even tell they weren't. They were still brand spanking new. I wouldn't return used clothing. I don't believe in renting for free. That is COMPLETELY wrong and I abhor it. That being said if you don't want something that's still new and the return policy permits it you should be able to. You could tell the man was fuming when he was doing my return. And at the end he gave me my return receipt. He was about to trash my original, but I asked for it back and he started ripping up the receipt. He said I didn't need it because I returned all the items. He glared at me with loathsome eyes. I asked for it again and said I need it for personal accounting purposes. I keep ALL my receipts. I monitor my transactions. As everyone should because there is a lot of credit scams and stealing. Always be mindful of every transaction and amount. I've had stores charge me multiple times. Having proof of every transaction is important. You need both the original AND return if it's regarding a return because its also proof you bought something in the first place. This is all of course if something can go wrong electronically as nothing is perfect. He said I didn't need it so I asked for it again and he gave me the pieces. I was scared because of the way he looked at me threatening. I've never received such hatred for a return. And I said exactly how I felt. If you don't want me to shop here ever again you could have said that. I got the hell out of there. It was so scary and humiliating. He didn't have to do that. He could have just handed me my receipt instead of looking at me and ripping up my receipt with such anger as if you're about to physically assault me. I won't be back. You couldn't pay me to walk within half a mile of that store read more

I moved down to Atlanta earlier this year and wanted to get more into golf. I went to Edwin Watts for a fitting and to upgrade from the clubs I'd had since middle school. I walked out with a new driver, some woods, and a new set of irons and a much better understanding of the types of clubs I needed thanks to the great fitting experience. They have a 90 day return policy (for store credit) which is great if you're like me and no nothing about clubs and decide something isn't for you. They have all the new stuff and some demo sets you can get a deal on if you don't want to spend top dollar. I'll definitely be a frequent customer here. Thanks guys! read more

Had a fantastic experience getting fitted for a new set of irons and a driver. Mason was patient, thorough, and overall great communicator. He took the time to explain each of the metrics being gauged by the simulator and how that played into shaft selection, line angle, etc. I highly recommend this shop if you're in the market for a new set. read more

My word, what a great golf store. Not only do they have everything you can imagine golf related, but they have some pretty decent prices on name brand and hot items. You'll also find special deals such as discounts on demo clubs, used clubs, and other things. I just came in to buy some pink Volvik balls because I have trouble seeing where my tee shot lands and often lose the ball. Edwin Watts not only carried them, they had the best deal. In terms of golf stores, Edwin Watts may be as good as it gets in Atlanta. So, five stars. Not sure what the parking situation is. Normally a great shop with some awesome sales reps. Never before had an issue with bringing in a dog (which makes sense, it's a golf shop and not a restaurant), until today when an especially rude employee turned us away. Was looking forward to trying out and purchasing a new driver through Edwin Watts. Unfortunately my business will now be going to Dicks down the road. My advice to management - you're situated in a highly walkable neighborhood with a clientele that loves bringing their dogs EVERYWHERE. This includes many of the fine stores in nearby Buckhead Atlanta. Don't be short sighted when it comes to turning business away because of something as silly as this. read more

Superior customer experience! It was immediately clear that Scott had extensive knowledge of his brands and how to match them well with his customer's needs. However what I found refreshing was the time and attention he invested in me though I was there only to add a single club to my bag. I visited this location to have some club work done. I asked if I could try out a few of the new drivers but made it clear that I had no intention to purchase one at this time. Scott took me back to the hitting bay and spent a good deal of time swapping shafts and different heads to try to find the best combo for me, all while knowing I wasn't there to buy. This speaks volumes to me about the customer service provided by the team at this Edwin Watts location. You guys are awesome! read more

Thanks for not allowing dogs in your store. Not everyone loves dogs. My kids are afraid of dogs and both me and my son are allergic. I look at dogs in public spaces much the same way I look at cigarette smokers. I am more likely to visit your location if you disallow dogs. read more

What a great experience. Was in Atlanta on vacation and stopped in to look at clubs. Helpful right from the start. Mike spend a lot of time to help me get the right clubs for me. Had to special order them from Honma. Was told that it would take 2 weeks to get them. Called me later to say that Honma was backed up and would take 3 to 4 weeks to receive them. Dan, the Manager, then called me to say that they were having the order sent 2nd day air so I could get the clubs sooner as I wanted them for a trip at the end of the month. I received them yesterday, 7 days after I placed the order. The whole team was great. I will be moving to the Atlanta area next year and they will be be go to golf shop. read more

It's not a Home Depot style store that just happens to sell golf equipment, it's a old school golf shop staffed by great people who love golf, know their stuff and always take the time to thank you for stopping by. They have everything you need in equipment and accessories and have the product knowledge to go with it. Go to this place and you'll never waste your time going to the Big Box store ever again, these guys will take the time to fit you with the clubs you need. I wanted to give a shout out to a fellow Dawg, Tyson. I stopped by today to get my spikes replaced in a pair of golf shoes, and he informed me they don't perform that service anymore. He set me up with the correct set of replacement spikes and then just went ahead and replaced them while I waited! What a nice surprise. I'm sure he took some pity on me as I've never replaced golf spikes in my life :) Regardless, just another example of the great service you get at EW, and why I have been a loyal customer for most of the 30 years I've lived in ATL. I visit this store a couple times a month and have had nothing but a great experience. The manager is so friendly and kind to me whenever I come in.. This customer service staff may be the best I ever encountered in retail as an adult. I been golfing over 23 years and traveled to many places in the world. I buy and trade golf clubs with this store all the time and have never been disappointed... So when I receive this kind of customer service, I feel that I have to acknowledge the experience..
