Once I called back to see if I could get polish and paste (essential steps in a basic cleaning) they declined saying my oral hygiene was good enough and that they only give that to people with too much plaque.. last time I checked you get plaque nomatter how much you brush your teeth that's why you get a professional cleaning once every 6 months (and for me has been almost two years since I had) and I had to get a cavity filled and it was gonna be $95 out of pocket even though my insurance covered 80% but besides that they were nice. I just didn't trust them or feel cared about especially cause they knew I was pregnant so I shouldn't be swallowing plaque due to harmful effects on my unborn baby. I got in only 20min after arriving and they did try to squeeze me in asap to fill my cavity which was nice. Just check ratings before you go somewhere is my advice and I will be doing that from now on.

I went back to Dr. Medley and was given a cursory exam and a handful of antibiotics with the mention of a possible root canal. But seeing that the before treatment had maxed out my benefits I was sent away with no clear treatment plan. I ended up at the emergency dentist a day later with 2 root canals and on strong antibiotics for a massive infection. Two out of the 4 teeth Dr. Medley had worked on had died. I don't feel the risks involved with working on smaller teeth were properly explained to me by her or her team and I feel the interest in my care shrank in tandem with my benefits amount.

Changing her prescribed dental procedure, and announcing "We're going to do partial, rather than a crown!" indicated she does not have a clear vision of "best practices". I was told that they would not clean my teeth unless I got 5 fillings done so I left and went to another dentist where they told me I have 0. They told my husband that he had cavities that fell out or cracked (can't remember) so they fixed them and sent him on his way. When he went in for a second opinion he was referred to an Endodontic provider to address possible retreatment of a root canal that was done when he was a kid. It's strange that they have such different treatment than other dentists. And after speaking with a couple of dentists in the area they have told me that this is well known among these types of chain clinics. They are eager to bill for cavities! It's the most impersonal experience you could have. You come and are greeted by an employee who greets you from a screen. I really wanted to give no stars. I have never been so pissed about dental work. I am legally blind…read moreclose up and I didn't have my glasses when I went to the dentist. I work nights and had about 2 hrs sleep missed my apt so I called to see if I could still get in. They worked me in . They asked about the color I said I can't see I don't have my glasses. So my 3000.00 bridge is put in. Dentist hands me the mirror and ask if I wanted to see. Of course I want to see but again I can't without my glasses. And that's what I tell them. My mouth is numb I go home go back to bed so I can work that night. I get up to go to work look at my teeth and can't believe what I see. If I was that dentist I would of never let me leave. The front tooth is crooked 3 of the teeth curved under and it's not even close to the color they told me we were ordering. So I called of course I had to wait until Thursday since they are only open Monday and Thursday. So o got in Monday at 1145 again only a couple hrs of sleep. But I did take my glasses this time. Buyer beware if you leave with dental work in your mouth and do not like it you can get it fixed if you pay for it. They do not take any responsibility for their part. I didn't have my glasses but I also trusted my dentist to do his best job. It took me 5 years to save the money to get my bridge. And now I have to find someone to go find someone to fix it because I'm sure not going back there.
