Make sure you review statement/invoice from them with your dental policy/coverage. I found there had discrepancies. Spoke to dental insurance company and gave them a guidance to code right dental procedure coding without over billing. read more

I love this dentist. Dr. Edward Po is my dentist, so I cannot speak regarding his brother, however, I'm certain the care, treatment and professionalism are equally awesome! I suffer from TMJ and have a difficult time becoming numb, and he takes his time and ensures I don't experience any pain. The staff are all friendly and professional and courteous. read more

I have had the worst experience with their staff. My insurance was screwed up twice and I had to pay $120 out of pocket for a cavity refill that was covered by my insurance. I was given a reimbursement check on the spot but their billing staff is completely disorganized and lack basic competency/IQ. They reschedule my appointment on a short notice but I declined to do any future business with them. Dr. Poe was great that's the only positive I will leave. read more

This was a great experience! I use to go to see Dr. Po up until 2019. At that time we found that Medicare (through Kaiser) didn't carry the insurance they use HMO. So we left Dr Po to use the Dentist who accepted our PPO insurance provided by (KP) Medicare. We went through many various dentist in the Fairfield area trying to find the same kind of care and integrity we got with Dr Po and his team. After being over charged and not being treated like a customer we decided to pay for our dental insurance through AARP and get PPO insurance and signed back up with Dr. Po. This was the right decision and should have never left. His whole staff makes you feel they are looking after your best interest and treats you like family. read more

I am truly amazed at some of the comments posted regarding Dr. Po! My husband and I have had nothing but good experiences with this doctor and the practice he is associated with. I find Dr. Po to be patient and willing to answer all of my (admittedly) many questions. He is considerate of his patients' fears, and has a comforting bedside manner. (Important in a dentist!) The staff here is genuine and compassionate. Unfortunately Dr. Po does not practice those same qualities. He is abrupt with his staff in the presence of patients and he seems to have appointments set for unnecessary procedures that are billed at inflated uninsurable prices. Wow! I am beyond shocked at the negative reviews on Dr. Po. I normally only write reviews on restaurants, but felt compelled to write a review on my dentist- one that my husband and I have been going to for years and one that is outstanding! All my appointments have been nothing short of a great experience. He has ALWAYS been patient and concerned with my needs and questions. He always explains EVERYTHING to me so he knows I am fully aware of what he is doing. The staff there is incredible and always so welcoming. I recently got my wisdom teeth pulled by Dr.Po- something that you usually get done when you are a teenager, not 30. There were higher risks involved and Dr. Po explained everything to me and I felt 100% safe with him doing the procedure. Everything went as planned, no complaints. He is an absolutely WONDERFUL dentist and I would recommend him to anyone! Don't let the bad reviews push you away from seeing him. I promise, one visit with him, you will understand why I gave him 5 stars. And on a side note: Lauren R. seems to post mostly negative reviews about a lot of good places. Sometimes people only know how to complain. Sad world when people only look for the negative things in life. read more

I was beyond impressed with Dr. Po's office. It's been years since I've shamefully not seen the dentist. My molar ended up cracking, so I had to finally cave in. My mom raved about Dr. Po and I called and made the appt. They were even willing to give me a next day appt, I just couldn't due to my schedule. My first appt made me a definite permanent patient of Dr. Po. The front staff, as well as the back were incredibly accommodating, and in all honesty, truly kind. Dr. Po came in and calmed my nerves instantly telling me exactly what would need to be done to fix my tooth, how he would do it, and genuinely cared about my questions and concerns. I was scheduled around what I could do schedule wise within a week. Sooner if my schedule had allowed it. My root canal went off without a hitch, despite my fears. The entire office is incredible, I am so grateful for Dr. Po and his team. If you're looking for a new dentist, or like me and haven't been to one in many years, trust me, this office should be your first call. read more

10 out of 10! Seriously the absolute Best dentist in the world. I have gone to Dr. Po since I was a little girl. My entire family still goes to this dentist including now my husband. I highly recommend Dr. Edward Po and the hygienists. If you need an extra good cleaning or your teeth are in pain Dr. Po will make sure he lays out all the options that are best for you (financially, comfortably, and emotionally). I am not scared of the dentist at all because Dr. Edward Po only hires EXCELLENT staff. Most of his staff have been there since I was a little girl. Give him a try - I promise! Also - if you want a cheaper alternative to WHITE TEETH. Pay the money to get fitted for trays and the bleaching products work within days. Blatant disregard and dishonor of personal health beliefs - Not to be trusted. Dr. Po did not honor my parental wishes with regard to the health of my child. I requested no fluoride treatment for my son and had that written into my son's chart. My child was given a fluoride treatment anyway. Further, Dr. Po lied and charted that the treatment was necessary due to some "plaque buildup" and that the "child's father okayed the treatment". This is a lie. In truth, my son's father, nor I approved any fluoride treatments. In fact, we took great lengths to make it known, and to have it charted that we were against the fluoride treatments. My son's father was waiting for him in the waiting room and at no time did anyone come to get him to approve the treatment. So why was the lie charted? The real issue is not fluoride, but the blatant disregard of a dentist to go against the written requests of a parent, and do what HE deems is necessary. Even though clearly marked in the chart - NO FLOURIDE TREATMENTS, no call, no permission - -he simply did what he wanted to do with my child. That's chilling really. I certainly do not recommend this doctor. He is not to be trusted. read more

Dr. Po and his staff are just wonderful! I have tons of dental problems and its always a job done well. Veronica and Michelle and the rest of the staff are always sweet and are always able to schedule an appointment at the most convenient time and even accommodate me when I came in on the wrong day, or when I have an emergency. Dr. Po is pleasant, genuine and goes above and beyond to provide the best care. His bedside manner is terrific! I've been coming here for about 5 years if not more and am willing to drive an hour there and back because I don't trust any dentist like I trust him (I have had bad experiences with my other dentists in Sacramento). The dental hygienists are also pretty awesome and funny. They always make me feel comfortable. read more

I have been treated by Dr. Po for about one year. My first experience with Dr. Po was having him perform a tooth extraction. This past July Dr. Po removed an existing crown , drilled and filled a cavity on the molar, and replaced the crown with a new one. Initially I experienced some discomfort with the new crown and had Dr. Po re-examine the crown. He removed a high point on the crown and the pain ceased. I respect Dr .Po's judgement and his method to correct the crown rather than suggesting an unnecessary root canal. I feel fortunate to have him as my dentist. James D. Maher read more

This was one of the first dentist office I had my very first dental appointment when I was little and it is NOTHING like it use to be. Recently the quality care has gone just like the other dentists that were in the office now I think I know why they left. In the 25 years I had been going to the dentist it is nothing like the quality I got from Dr Po. I have seen him several times in the past year and he has pulled two of my teeth. This last one you could get the vibe he didn't want to be there and his office assistant had misdirected his attention and stopped in several times while he was working on me to chit chat. When he was done he just threw his tools on the tray and walked out like he was above saying anything. I went in for a tooth ache and he expected me to wait 3 weeks and just take vicodin for the pain till he could get around to helping his own patient.
