($325 for the pair my daughter needed) so I looked online to potentially order her a pair from a website for a cheaper price- the website needed her pupillary distance but the office wanted to charge $25 to give it to me (not listed on her prescription) I was also told it "generally isn't given out to pediatric patients and would have to ask Dr. Bulan if it were ok" do they do this purposely so you have to buy glasses from them? My insurer VSP has a $ 10 copay for eye prescriptions and they do not cover retinal screening. EE is in-network for VSP. Front Office insisted the screening and fee is mandatory. As a matter of principle I refused to walk away and insisted on speaking to the OD. After a long argument I was given a form where I acknowledged having refused retinal screening and got my prescription done. SO choose to skip this place or be ready for a fight to get your $ 39 waived by the good Doctor! Oh yes - he did tell me that if I asked nicely (!) they can easily waive the $ 39 fee. But then you need to complete the long argument with the Front Office first to reach the OD... well .... you choose :-)

I made the appointment online & was contacted by someone to confirm. The cataract exam was very thorough. I decided to have them do the surgery & was happy to find out the surgery center was located onsite. The surgery was scheduled quickly & it went so smoothly. Dr Wright was my surgeon & I felt confident that he'd do a great job based on his experience. I'm 7 days out from my surgery & everything is going well. I would definitely recommend Mann Eye based on the great treatment that I've received.

Paperwork was sent to them on Wednesday and a appointment was made for him Friday morning at 7:45am. We arrived this morning for them to turn us away because "they didn't get paperwork" for his doctor fast enough, and BY THE WAY, the laser is not working. When he asked why we had to travel all this way for them to turn us away (we live 30 mins away), they LIED to his face and said they tried to call him several times to cancel the appointment. When my husband said he has proof they never did that, they didn't care. He wanted to showed them the voicemail they left for him Thursday to confirm his appointment, and no where in that voicemail was a cancellation or ANYTHING saying the laser was not working. Who does this? I can't believe a business like this exists. My husband is a very patient person, and I've never seen him this angry. I also understand that it's a mechanism eye doctors use to protect themselves from lawsuits. I come from a line of surgeons, and they find methods to curb malpractice lawsuits everyday. The staff could benefit with more training, be that service or technicals. Things are going to get worst for Texas businesses in general when transplants begin to saturate the the local market with skilled professionals, which has already begun. Very quickly, you can toss a penny and hit eye doctors with your eyes closed, no pun intended. More choices are always better.
