Best daycare in Viera!…read more We've been to Viera Children's Academy, Rockledge Montessori, Cross Bridge Learning Center, and Global Learning, so trust me when I say this is the best one, hands down! Lots of reading, art, and playing for all of the kids. Also lots of attention - they really get to know your children and it shows. The staff is top notch. They not only get to know your kids but also the parents! The director is amazing - very sharp and quick to take action. Lots of family activities offered including parenting classes, parents day or nights out, and weekend events. The facility is clean and new. My kids are in great hands here - we love it!

If all you care about is aesthetic, then by all means send your child here. If you actually care…read moreabout their education and well-being, choose somewhere else. The facility is beautiful but was very cheaply build and is falling apart, kids are PACKED into classrooms (22 two year olds with just two teachers all stuffed into one room), and the teachers are inexperienced, overworked, and overwhelmed. They post a lot on social media but it's all a show; for example last Christmas the kids made gingerbread houses and the director of education then took them apart and rebuild them to look nicer on Facebook. It's all a façade.

He has several new patents on self defense tech-wear that would be great for civilians and Police. There are all sorts of training areas, tools to work with, and more. He explained several commonsense self-defense situations that were simple and brilliant, and I even got to target practice. This ex-Marine is FABULOUS! I highly recommend checking him out!

Girls night! My mother-in-law and I took the resin charcuterie board class at Seaside Creative Art…read moreStudio and had such a wonderful time! The instructor was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, making sure we were happy with our designs every step of the way. Even if you're new to working with resin, everything is explained clearly and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Because the resin needs time to cure, boards are picked up at least 24 hours later. We haven't picked ours up yet, but we're already excited to see how they turned out based on how great the experience was. They also offer a wide variety of other classes, including acrylic and oil painting, paint pours, and more. We'll definitely be back to try another class--highly recommend for a fun, creative outing!

We met the owner (Jeannie), who was so nice and scheduled a private session for the three of us right after our surfing and before our bioluminescent kayaking. The studio has so much incredible artwork. Jeannie invited us to walk around and pick ideas of what we wanted to do. She prepped the canvases and everything while we surfed. When we returned for our lesson, Jeannie had everything set up for us and taught us how to paint a beach scene with grassy dunes, palm trees, and a dolphin jumping out of the water. All of us were impressed with what we were able to do, and came home with lasting painting techniques. When we were done, I was trying to decide how to get the paintings home since I prefer to carry on our luggage, and Jeannie offered to mail them to us. When they arrived, they came with an extra painting kit she gave us. I am SO SO SO thrilled that we stumbled upon this. Highly recommend!!! Oh, also--Jeannie is a cardiac nurse. She got into this by helping her patients recover by helping them through art. Incredible woman with an incredible story. Memorable experience for sure.

1/5 Stars - Highly Disappointing Experience…read more My experience with Vera Children's Academy was deeply disappointing for both me and my child. For anyone considering this facility, please know that despite the name, it is a regular daycare disguised as a learning academy but in reality there is no learning going on just a regular unprofessional daycare The financial burden here is outrageous, especially given the poor quality of care. A recurring issue we faced was their illness policy and unfair billing. I would send my daughter to daycare on a Wednesday, she would catch something from another child, and by Thursday, they would call me to come pick her up because she was sick. She would then have to miss the following day. Despite not being allowed to leave my child there, they still charged me full price for her attendance. This happened on multiple occasions, to the point where I was paying for far more days than my daughter was actually able to attend. Even more concerning than the cost was the lack of supervision and safety. There was an incident where my child came home with claw marks all over her arms. When I brought this to the teacher's attention, nobody on staff was aware of her injuries, nor had anyone called to let us know something had happened. A week later, she came home with the exact same injuries to her arms. It wasn't until I made a major issue out of it that I was finally able to request to speak to the director, who promised an investigation. Having two separate instances where my child came home injured without a single phone call or incident report made is completely unacceptable. I was finally so fed up with the lack of communication, safety, and fairness that I unenrolled my kid. I would not recommend Vera Children's Academy to any parent looking for a safe and reliable environment for their child.
