i rate this inattentive, neglectfully, offhandedly rashly, thoughtlessly,unconcernedly,…read moreunmindfully, without any kind of thought to be concernd about the kids, a good solid negative tillion billion zillion zerooooo!!!!! my 4 year old is sick with a virus which is obviously common to children attending daycare.. what makes this school a horrible place to trust your kids to be taken care of out of your care, is the fact that my son got sick and the firdt day he was feeling under the weather this is bs they pulled, i was running a few minutes behind to meet the bus at home to get him so i called and informed the daycare that i would be right there and if she could inform the bus driver for me, she agreeded to do so and then proceeded to tell me that she thinks that .y son had a fever and was not feeling well that day, and she said the reason behind not callling me to come get my baby cause he wasnt feeling well was because they fojnd this out as he was getting on the bus that he was feeling warm. okay so fast foward to me getting to the bus to get my baby off , as i open door he is crying his eyes out saying he dont feel good anx he was hot as ever, i asked the bus driver why they didnt call me she told me they werent sure, and that he was laying under his blanket under the air vent and they thought thats why he was hot, please just make that even make sense to me.. so thats two different stories. here is the third, he was sitting at a table and looked sad and the teacher went up to him amd touched his arm and he felt hot, but no one took his temperature and biggest problem is they never called me !!!!! the next day i kept him home and he was okay and no fever, so the next day i gave him motrin before taking him in just incase but still no fever so he attended that day, well i decided to pick my baby up and drop him off to and from school that day, when i went to pick him up , the rude owner was sitting in the front which is to who i assume to be her family, didnt greet me and always looks like she hates her job, so my son and a teacher walks out the door to me and as im walkkng off she decideds to tell me "oh ma'am he was saying his throat was hurting him, and again my child was burning up, and still got no freakjng phone call to inform me of this, so i gracefully asked why again they didnt call she said it only happened 10 mins ago , so i asked the owner if she could correct this with her staff members and she aaid "she woild look into it" wtf!!!! as i got to my sisters jouse i took my childs temp and it was 103.4 !!!!! i called and spoke to the owner and asked basically what in the heck was so hard about keeping a eye on my baby, and most importantly not informing me of this not one time, not one phome call , not one single time did i even get a notice on the app i have, which is useless!!!! the owner told me that if i didnt like the fact that they dudnt call me that i ciuld take my child elsewhere!!!! i am so disgusted by this and they dont care not only about my baby but the other children in there, they have not sent my baby home with anything fun that they made, the first day my childs cup was lost, and now he is sitting at home with (adenoviruses are a group of viruses that typically cause respiratory illnesses, such as a common cold, conjunctivitis (an infection in the eye that is sometimes called pink eye), croup, bronchitis, or pneumonia. in children, adenoviruses usually cause infections in the respiratory tract and intestinal tract. this daycare is very not worthy and not trusting to ever watch my child again and he is being removed monday morning, i pray that this daycare either closes or they get a better staff, the owner needs to be put in check and god doesn't like ugly so i won't do to much besides this cause what you put out into this world you receive so she will be given what is deserved to her by the lord. don't put your child in this facility anx if they already are then goodluck and remember to always ask your child about their day cause this place doesn't inform you of not one thing that goes on. my rating : negative 383888q929298383837837882828282!!!!!!!! yall get no stars from me !!!

For anyone considering this facility, please know that despite the name, it is a regular daycare disguised as a learning academy but in reality there is no learning going on just a regular unprofessional daycare The financial burden here is outrageous, especially given the poor quality of care. A recurring issue we faced was their illness policy and unfair billing. I would send my daughter to daycare on a Wednesday, she would catch something from another child, and by Thursday, they would call me to come pick her up because she was sick. She would then have to miss the following day. Despite not being allowed to leave my child there, they still charged me full price for her attendance. This happened on multiple occasions, to the point where I was paying for far more days than my daughter was actually able to attend. Even more concerning than the cost was the lack of supervision and safety. There was an incident where my child came home with claw marks all over her arms. When I brought this to the teacher's attention, nobody on staff was aware of her injuries, nor had anyone called to let us know something had happened. A week later, she came home with the exact same injuries to her arms. It wasn't until I made a major issue out of it that I was finally able to request to speak to the director, who promised an investigation. Having two separate instances where my child came home injured without a single phone call or incident report made is completely unacceptable. I was finally so fed up with the lack of communication, safety, and fairness that I unenrolled my kid. I would not recommend Vera Children's Academy to any parent looking for a safe and reliable environment for their child.

We are only in week 3 of tutoring but already her attitude towards math is more positive and her confidence is being built. She goes three times a week for one hour sessions, and the tutors rotate around the room assisting. The manager Brandon pays close attention & is very kind with the kids, my daughter loves him. I wanted to give it 5 stars but didn't due to the expense. 1. I don't like contracts & you have to sign up for at least 3 months, if you cancel there is a $110 fee. 2. We did the 6 month contract , it's well over $300 a month ( yikes) . This stings.

When my daughter was in her 2-year-old class, she also developed her various skills dramatically from Ms Tanya, Ms Jennifer, and Ms Sarah. My toddler son is speaking over 40 words already. Some of this may be age related (or excitement at the start of the day) but it's unsettling to see when you are about to drop off your child. Some sort of daily progress sheet would be nice for parents to have so they know how the day went especially if your child is younger and can't communicate all the parts of the day. Parents shouldn't have to hunt around the building in six different places to know what they ate for lunch, what they worked on, if they napped, if they ate or went to the bathroom or to get a monthly newsletter. . The teachers are available, they say, but when we pick up our child, the teachers may be busy supervising the playground or reading to a group, which then it doesn't become an opportunity to find these things out.

The website might say it's an "A" school but since they are an independent school they get to choose how they want it to look. The teachers make the students participate in spelling bee's and geography bowls so they can take pictures for the website and make themselves look good.
