She explained how they only cancel and give a refund for hurricane weather. That's fine. However, the smart remarks are not. Very unprofessional. I'm a new driver and I have driving anxiety. I don't feel comfortable or confident driving in the rain yet. I've decided to take the loss (out $170) and I won't be coming back. I wouldn't recommend scheduling driving lessons with the Florida Safety Council. Nobody deserves to be spoken to that way.

We found PSC driving school which has offices in Palm Bay, Orlando area and Rockledge, Florida. They were having a special prior to Christmas. We paid for the highest level package available which was 16 hours of driving. Our credit card was immediately charged over $500. Our daughter's birthday was the beginning of January and the day after her birthday she got her learners permit. There was a lot of confusion about getting her scheduled with a driver and finally I got a phone call from someone in the Orlando area office telling me to come to Wrocklage to show a copy of her learners permit and sign paperwork in person even though we had already paid online. The day I showed up to do this nobody was there and The office also included immigration services and tax services. After trying numerous times we finally reached someone on the phone. He said he was unaware we were coming in and The lady who work the office had been an accident that morning. At this point the office had been open according to the website for one hour. 45 minutes later we met Johnson who is to be our driving instructor at the facility. I did not have a sense of confidence as Johnson's accent was very difficult to understand and he could not find paperwork that we existed. Luckily we have a copy of our receipt on our email. My daughter was scheduled to drive two weeks ago but needed to change the time. JohnsonSaid yes to the time change initially then said let's just reschedule for February 16 at 10 AM. We showed up at 10 to 10 to find that the office has been stripped of desks and computers chairs and filing cabinets. When we attempted to reach every number that we could possibly find at every location all we got was the answering machines. Today my husband finally reached the Orlando office and got a human on the phone. They seemed reluctant to refund our money and the final answer was wait 7 to 10 business days. I am not happy with this as that money is accruing interest on the credit card. My warning to all parents is DO NOT USE THIS DRIVING SCHOOL-they are unreliable and apparently I'm the first one to bother to post a review.

But the location is not hard to find. My some was able to go directly to the Polk county Tax collector's office and get his license without an appointment which was a nice perk.

This place only cares about making money. They require you to go even when you were not charged…read morewith a dui. Instead of showing grace.They treat you as just a cash cow. They cut you off while explaining you situation and even if you have years of sobriety under your belt they continue to do things to prolong your stay in the program. As someone who had to go through the program multiple times during my youth, they absolutely don't care what you have to say. Seeing as they are the only game in town, there really isn't anything you can do except let them be rude and take it. I've met so many people in recovery who do actually care. Hopefully they can make drastic improvements on how they treat people who need their help. It was this way 15 years ago and still is.
