1/5 Stars - Highly Disappointing Experience…read more My experience with Vera Children's Academy was deeply disappointing for both me and my child. For anyone considering this facility, please know that despite the name, it is a regular daycare disguised as a learning academy but in reality there is no learning going on just a regular unprofessional daycare The financial burden here is outrageous, especially given the poor quality of care. A recurring issue we faced was their illness policy and unfair billing. I would send my daughter to daycare on a Wednesday, she would catch something from another child, and by Thursday, they would call me to come pick her up because she was sick. She would then have to miss the following day. Despite not being allowed to leave my child there, they still charged me full price for her attendance. This happened on multiple occasions, to the point where I was paying for far more days than my daughter was actually able to attend. Even more concerning than the cost was the lack of supervision and safety. There was an incident where my child came home with claw marks all over her arms. When I brought this to the teacher's attention, nobody on staff was aware of her injuries, nor had anyone called to let us know something had happened. A week later, she came home with the exact same injuries to her arms. It wasn't until I made a major issue out of it that I was finally able to request to speak to the director, who promised an investigation. Having two separate instances where my child came home injured without a single phone call or incident report made is completely unacceptable. I was finally so fed up with the lack of communication, safety, and fairness that I unenrolled my kid. I would not recommend Vera Children's Academy to any parent looking for a safe and reliable environment for their child.

I was sold at day one! I was allowed to come inside when I picked up my daughter to see her eating with the other kids! On day 3 she was comfortable enough with the staff and was dropped off with out crying. Day 3! At the time my 18 month old was still crying being dropped off with her grandparents, so this was amazing and impressive to me. I knew they were taking good care of her. And they do. They treat every child like their own, the staff is all so loving and caring and can tell me things about my daughter because they all know her on a personal level. Since going here, my daughter has been excelling. My family loves and appreciates this place and their staff.

The facility is beautiful but was very cheaply build and is falling apart, kids are PACKED into classrooms (22 two year olds with just two teachers all stuffed into one room), and the teachers are inexperienced, overworked, and overwhelmed. They post a lot on social media but it's all a show; for example last Christmas the kids made gingerbread houses and the director of education then took them apart and rebuild them to look nicer on Facebook. Best daycare in Viera!…read more We've been to Viera Children's Academy, Rockledge Montessori, Cross Bridge Learning Center, and Global Learning, so trust me when I say this is the best one, hands down! Lots of reading, art, and playing for all of the kids. Also lots of attention - they really get to know your children and it shows. The staff is top notch. They not only get to know your kids but also the parents! The director is amazing - very sharp and quick to take action. Lots of family activities offered including parenting classes, parents day or nights out, and weekend events. The facility is clean and new. My kids are in great hands here - we love it!
