I was a bit hesitant to use Educational Perspectives due to the 'mixed' reviews they got. But I experienced absolutely no issues at all. I was in a bit of a rush, so I paid for the '3 day rush' to get my evaluation as quick as possible. Less than 36 hours later I had my evaluation. There were a small mix-up after the evaluation. I had added a university to my delivery list. The university didn't receive the evaluation, which I pointed out to Educational Perspectives. Less than an hour later, I received an email saying they had re-send the evaluation and the university in question let me know soon after, that they had received the evaluation. Would not recommend the service. They mistranslated my documents, so no evaluation is being done on my documents. Sent several email for follow up until they decided to reply. A general evaluation which has a 5 business days turnaround time as per them ( mentioned on their website) definitely takes more than 2 months i guess. It's been over 35 days that I had sent my documents and I am still waiting and following up every day, they don't have any timelines, they don't even tell you an approximate wait time, It's like you send something to them and you forget about it. This is suppose to run like a Non-Profit, but they charge $35 to do an e-mail CC. An email CC, literally add 2 emails to an email and they charge $35. This is on top of the $170 they initially take. I hated it. First of all, it says in the website EP does transcript translation. I sent all my documentation and I was informed, later, that EP couldn't translate my transcript. I had to find another company to do so. After that I called in and ask how long would take to finish my match catalog. I was told around 2 weeks, max 3 weeks. Awful service with irrational deadlines. Which they won't inform until you pay for the service. All they want is that you pay an extra overpriced fee for rush services. They received my diploma about two weeks ago and had problemas figuring out if my diploma was legit or not (not my fault) which took another 4 days to verify it. I highly recommend EP to anyone needing an evaluation. I am applying to nursing programs that required an evaluation of my transcript from a semester studying abroad, and the university I went to (in Thailand) took a long time to respond to my requests for a transcript. I would discourage anyone reading this from using the services of Educational Perspectives. I sent a university diploma for evaluation and the company didn't keep up with their usual deadline which states that they evaluate diplomas within 5 to 10 business days. Now I have had to pay 200 dollars for a rush service in order to get my diploma evaluated at time. This was extremely unprofessional and the company was very ambiguous about when my diploma will be ready which eventually left my with no choice but to pay the 200 dollars. I don't take it as an excuse that they have a high amount of documents to evaluate - if they were professionals they would have informed me of that beforehand. Again, don't use Educational Perspectives, especially if you are applying to university or graduate school and need your grades to be evaluated !!! read more

We submitted transcripts to be evaluated, they told us 20 to 25 business days and after 32 business days we haven't received anything, my son got rejected from one of his college applications because they didn't receive the information, we were counting on maximum 25 days, how is it possible they work on their rush applications in 1 or 3 days. They just want to force you to pay for the rush service. When I call the only explanation is that they have received a lot of work and they don't know when our transcripts will be ready. My recent experience with Educational Perspectives was very bad. Their website says that the evaluation turnaround time is 5 business days, however at the time of this review, I have been waiting 17+ business days for my evaluation (no holidays). Slow response times are understandable, but the part that is unacceptable is their service. After many emails and phone calls to EP, they would not provide any meaningful updates or status on my application. The worst experience was my phone call to Educational Perspectives, where the phone representatives were very rude, even hanging up on me before I could finish my inquiry. I ended up paying $100 extra, and actually received a completed report, which was a relief --------------------- I hope to take the CPA exam this summer and sent over my Canadian transcripts for a course by course review. They told me that everything was in on 2/9/18. I asked about the expected timeline for them to complete the work. They said over 30 days because it's busy season. Their website clearly says: "We maintain a standard five-day turn-around" These people are either having big operational problems or are unethical. They don't respond to emails and, if you call, you get rude service reps who are probably so because they're completely powerless over your case. As a foreign educated student, I needed my Diploma's evaluated and used another service. This other company charged me $85 dollars, were very slow in communication, and unresponsive to my emails. And mis-evaluated my diploma's and accomplishments. I found Education Perspective, Mr. Warren immediately assured me they could do what I needed. I paid them up front, sent in my diploma's digital and by regular mail. They did a fantastic, professional evaluation, that will help me the rest of my career. Paid almost $300 for my transcript to be evaluated course by course. They received my documents on May 29th and I was quoted a turnaround time of 10-15 business days. On June 24th I HAD TO FOLLOW UP with this company to ask why my evaluation wasn't sent yet. The next day they were sent to the school electronically by email not by regular mail as I had stated on my initial form. Fast forward to today and the school has still not received by documents via postal mail. Called the school and they said they never sent them and that yes indeed, my form stated that I selected postal mail. Do not use this service if you want a thorough transfer of your credits or get it fast. I hired this agency to evaluate my German degree (secondary education and college) to be able to waive some classes for my US Bachelors. It took them several weeks until they sent me a lazy document that doesn't even list all the classes I visited. First of all I spent 2 days translating my university's exam regulations to explain this agency what my diploma means, although is was their job, that I payed them to do. But the most outrageous part is that classes I had for 3 years have not even been mentioned: Physics and Chemistry. These do not require a lot of imagination to transfer them into a US system. Prices the same like anywhere else. On website it says it takes 3-5 days for evaluation to be completed but it took 2 weeks for them to evaluate my diploma. The main reason for 1 star review is WASTE OF MY MONEY and TIME. I have completed 4 years out of 5 in Russia. And they just wrote on my evaluation "equivalent to 4y degree in US." Well, that doesnt do anything for me. Other companies accredited such diplomas as bachelors degree cause it is 4 years in University. WES and ECE agreed that based on hours and status of university my 4 years (out of 5) qualifies for Bachelors degree in US. So I just spent another 160$ with WES and got my evaluation so now I can go for Masters instead of wasting another 2 years to get ANOTHER bachelors degree!!! It is 09/02/2016 and I just went through my digital evaluation from Educational Perspective(EduPers). I am very pleased with the evaluation and the efficiency of the EduPers evaluator. I am new to the US and my education spreads accross 2 continents - Africa and Europe. After more than 1yr of hesitation to have my foreign credentials evaluated by Educational Perspective, because of the reviews I read about its services, I decided to contact some universities in Chicago to see if they could evaluate my credentials instead. The universities I contacted referred me to Educational Perspective. I was very sad to learn that, I did not have a choice. I finally contacted Educational Perspective and I am very glad I did. From the time EduPers recieved all my credentials to the time it issued the evaluation report, was less than a week. The very first mail I received from EduPers was an advice on how to get my credentials sent directly to them from Africa. I replied saying I left Africa 21yrs ago and that it was impossible since everything is changed over there. The evaluator replied with a detailed description of the process involed in my country in Africa, to have my High School credentials sent to EduPers digitally or by courier. I was surprised. I succeeded in no time at all sending the credentials to the evaluator here in Chicago. The evaluator assisted me also, via emails, in getting my university credentials from Europe. I commend the efficiency, patience and kind assistance of the evaluator. My advice to people seeking evaluation is that they should look no further than Educational Perspective and do not always believe everything you read in a review.
