If you're looking for a solid hot dog, this is the place to go. I ordered the everyday special: 2 hot dogs with nothing on them (grilled), chips, and a seltzer. I wanted to try one steamed but they were out around 2pm on a Saturday. I really enjoyed them and while there was nothing crazy, they were solid hotdogs in buttered buns! You can get chili and/or cheese on them. FYI, cash only!

The best place for a small cheap and quick lunch. Ed's weenies are the best! They are extremely fresh and arguably one of the best hot dogs around. I come here all the time and it is consistently great.

This is a cool little hot dog shack that's been here for years in the farm parking lot. Good dogs the beans are so so. I wouldn't get them again They also had potato salad pulled pork and a few other things For a quick bite to eat. Sure stop in here!

Nice mustard selection and nice buttered roll....dog itself was boring....Kayem skinless.

Stopped in for a quick bite today and ordered just a basic dog with mustard. I was impressed that he had various mustard offerings, but that's kind of where the magic ended. This is a skinless Kayem dog that you can buy at Shaws....despite claims that is a "special blend that can't be bought"....please. Nice touch with the buttered roll. Sorry, but for the hot dog itself, I wasn't impressed.

Toasted bun makes this cheesy weenie pop.

For a quick bit off the side of the road it's hard to beat these weenies. I couldn't resist. CORNER STORIES podcast.

Had to try Ed's Weenies, its been on our to do list for months. Today was the day. The weenies were what I expected based on reviews. A good dog served by great people. I almost want to say the people are more of the draw. What a wonderful way to spend my lunch with such great people. We will be back both for the food and the hospitality. Thanks Ed!!!

Loved this little food truck. Check winter hours as the close. I had the chili cheese dog and it hit the spot.

They are quick to fill your order. We get hot dogs and their tuna or egg salad rolls for lunch a number of times each month year round.

Ask the Community - Ed's Weenies

Hey I was here at 1:00 on Tuesday and it was closed but you're on hours on Yelp. Say you're open till 3:00. What is it?

They seemed to be closed over the winter, their lot was not plowed out so I would look for them to open soon once the warmer weather is here to stay.

At 1:45 PM there weren't many people in the restaurant and there were plenty of parking spaces. My go-to is their bacon cheeseburger (double) or little bacon cheeseburger (single) depending on how many miles I plan to run to burn off the grease. The thing about Five Guys is...it's consistent. The west coast and east coast locations taste the same. They have a generous selection of free toppings which include: Mayo, Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Grilled Onions, Grilled Mushrooms, Ketchup, Mustard, Relish, Onions, Jalapeño Peppers, Green Peppers, Bar-B-Que Sauce, Hot Sauce, and A1 Sauce. I'm not sure why, but the cheese is always either cold or lukewarm. It feels like the put the cheese on seconds before removing the burger from the grill so it doesn't have time to really melt. Presentation wise, the burgers always look like they are quickly thrown together. The hamburger buns are cold and not toasted. It goes back to what I wrote earlier about how this is consistent. I know what I'm getting. The burgers are darn good though especially with the amount of bacon and mushrooms they put in their burgers. They offer two vegetarian options: a Veggie sandwich with or without cheese and a grilled cheese. The veggie sandwich is basically a combination of half their toppings. The grilled cheese is actually just a hamburger bun cooked upside down with cheese. Their regular and cajun fries are always a treat. Freshly fried and served hot. They have a nice crisp to them. I only wish they offered ranch dressing to go with the fries. They have two of those big electronic soda machine where you have 100+ combinations to choose from. The restaurant was clean and well-kept.

Toppings (sausage and mushroom) were few and far between, especially the mushrooms which were almost nonexistent. Toppings, sauce, and cheese came only half-way to the edge, just dough after that. Top was way over-browned to the point where the cheese was disagreeably chewy. And I'm not sure if this was meant to be a thin-crust or a deep-dish pizza because it was both: thin in the middle half and three times thicker in parts of the outer half. Obviously whoever prepared this has no clue to how to do it properly. The ONLY good thing I can say about this mess is the dough itself was fresh and had a good texture. It wasn't just one. We were a group of 5 and ordered 3 pizzas. Everybody agreed they were bad. They should be ashamed to serve these. Didn't anybody notice leaving the kitchen they were unservable? So I would never consider here for take-out. But we were here for trivia night so maybe I'd try again to have something to eat while playing? But next time if they come out like that I'd be refusing delivery and demanding a new one - that's for sure. As far as the trivia, I might not return for that either. The room was very loud from the crowd, and the announcer's microphone never did work properly so it was very hard to hear. And, knowing how many good wines and beers they sell in the general store on the first floor, it is painful to have a choice of just 5 very generic wines upstairs. Why can't they offer all the wines from downstairs, with a reasonable mark-up for restaurant purchase of course?

Overall, it is good for burgers, fries, chicken fingers, bowls.... I do not feel the prices are unrealistic. A burger is $13. If you go to Tavern In the Square, a burger is going to cost you $16. The staff is nice. Once in a while you get someone who is having a bad day, but that happens everywhere. You never know what is going on in people's lives so give them a break. If they are really bad, I joke and tell them I am going to leave them a bad tip. Some of them get worse after that and others realize they are in the service industry and get better..... The service itself was fine for only having 2 waitresses. My issue is with the food itself. I had already spent over $30 for tickets to a movie and they are over charging their severely lacking cuisine. My boyfriend got a BLT for $9 and I ordered a friend chicken sandwich for $14. I was not expecting top of the line, but I had higher standards than they met. My chicken was bland and tasteless with a piece of plastic cheese on top that plastered itself to my teeth. There was also a vein of fat through the center that was very off putting. I only made it half way through before I had to throw in the towel. The fries looked good, but were also not palatable. The mojito I had was fine, but expensive at $12 a pop. Overall I will never spend my money here again. Our movie date night ended up costing me $130 with everything together and it is not worth that money for not being able to finish my food. If anything I would recommend Market Basket down the hill and avoid the stomach ache.
