History
Established in 2026.
A few years ago, my family had to clean out my mother's parents' estate — a house that had decades of belongings packed into every room, garage, and attic. It should have been a straightforward job: find a company, get a fair price, get it done. Instead, it turned into weeks of phone calls that never got returned, quotes that changed once the crew showed up, and a general feeling that nobody treated the job, or us, as if it mattered.
That experience wasn't unique. Over the years, I've dealt with plenty of contractors and local service providers who were hard to reach, vague about pricing, or didn't show up when they said they would. It's a common story, and it shouldn't be.
Whether it's a single piece of furniture or an entire estate, every job gets treated with the same respect and reliability I wanted for my own family.
Meet the Business Owner: Tim M.
Hi, I’m Tim, the owner and manager of Ed’s Junk. I’m a Westmoreland County native - born and raised nearby - and I started this business after one too many frustrating experiences with local contractors who didn’t answer the phone, didn’t show up on time, or changed the price once the job was already underway. I wanted to build something better for my neighbors here in Hempfield Township and the surrounding area.
When I’m not out running loads, you’ll probably find me working on my ’73 Ford F600 dump truck (yes, the same one we use for hauling) or tackling some other project around the shop. I care about doing things the right way - that means answering your call, giving you an honest price upfront, and showing up when I say I will.
Every job, big or small, gets handled personally. If you’ve got questions before booking, feel free to reach out directly - I’m the one who’ll be picking up the phone.
