Ok spent the night in Oklahoma City wanted some food and gave this bar across the street a shot. Since I just walked I decided to try the local favorite of a "lunchbox " its colors light amaretto and your choice of juice. I thought it sounded weird but when in Rome.. it was surprisingly good and deceptively potent. I had three and there's no way I would drive after number 2! (7/10) the wings at the bar were some of the best I've had (9/10) read more

This is an extraordinary locals bar It was very fascinating seeing all those dollar bills covering the walls and ceilings. The service from the bartender was very polite and quick. They have a really big patio and plenty of space for a large groups. The prices were reasonable and it's just a really fun atmosphere. I'm not sure if they serve any food here or not. I love the place and I recommend this to anyone visiting Oklahoma City area read more

Oh dear Edna's. What can I say about this staple of OKC that hasn't already been said? I mean, really? Yes, it's a dive. Yes, it's packed on the weekend nights wall to wall with people, but that's why when I had out of state visitors we went during the afternoon for our lunchboxes. #Daydrinking am I right? We tried I think almost all of the lunchbox options and decided the cherry limeaid was our favorite. Service at the bar was fast & efficient and friendly. While I fully admit seeing it in the light of day was odd, it was totally worth it. read more

What a fun place!! They have "juiceboxes" aka because they don't have a liquor license, they use coors light for everything! We had a few different combos, all of which were tasty! And I'm not usually a coors fan. A definite spot to stop when in OK, dollars on the walls and a legit juxebox. It was a fun dive bar, the usual pool table with a food truck outside. The people were nice and friendly, too. read more

Good time went with groupof friends. Had the cherry limeade lunchbox 1 not a beer drinker here but it was so good

First time at Edna's last Thursday after work. Have known about Edna's for years but decided to try it out after recently reading reviews about OKC bars that was very favorable for Edna's. The review enticed us to go. We were greeted by a door man with the personality of a rock. He asked for ID which we produced. He later delivered our food with that same dour demeanor. That is the first time in forever that I have been I'D at a bar. That's an indication that they have had problems with the Abel commission and are on a short leash. Edna's meets the definition of a dive bar: "A dive bar is a small, casual, and often inexpensive drinking establishment with a grungy, seedy, or disreputable tone". If you're into that kind of scene, this is your place! The bar tender came to our table and took our drink order. Opposite the door man, she had a lovely personality. We ordered a couple of beers, chicken wings, cheese sticks, and fried pickels. The chicken wings were good, rating them a 4/5. The cheese sticks were good, rating them at 4/5. The fried picked spears were excellent, rating them at 5/5. At 5:30 the crowd size was moderate, the noise low. No music was being played. The menu was sticky nasty, leaving my hands sticky. I laid it down and went to the restroom to wash my hands. It left me wondering about the kitchen. I have always believed that if you can't get the little things right, you probably aren't getting the big things right. The prices are reasonable. Two orders of wings, the cheese sticks, fried pickels with 3 beers came to $51.00. Edna's was interesting, and I would go back if a friend wanted to go, but been there, done that, and Edna's won't be high on my list. read more

After researching top dive bars in OKC, I made a visit to Edna's. To say this doesn't qualify as a dive bar is an understatement. It's modern, security is set up outside the door to wand you to check for weapons, there is a DJ playing dance- type music and the only type of personality the place shows at all is the dollar bills all over the wall. I would give it zero stars, but the unique lunchbox drink makes it worthy of 1. Would not recommend. read more

The 1 and only Edna's of OKC!!! So I finally came to this place which is apparently an Oklahoma staple that everyone knew about except me. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed it and had an amazing time. This place is very unique and a fun crowd for all types. Also I couldn't begin to finish this review without mentioning the lunchboxes!!! I can't tell you,you just have to go!! read more

Some people will find Edna's (a bar) a bit of an odd choice for tasty treats, but we stumbled across this little gem because of previous reviews. Located on Classen Edna's is an old-fashioned bar that just happens to have really good food. The menu is limited, but the listed items are solid choices. We had heard that the small plates were tasty and we were there to test them out. First Edna's is now my go to spot for fried pickles. Perfectly fried, juicy, with just the right amount of zing. The wings were ordered dry. Hokey smokes they were delicious. Finally the fried chicken nachos were a scrumptious treat. We highly recommend Edna's for both your libations and small plate snacks. read more

Oh Edna's. How many nights have we danced to the sound of ice tea being stirred? Oh wait, I haven't had an Iced tea here... Just a bunch of lunch boxes or jolly rancher boxes. You've never heard of this place? Well, sit down Oklahomie and let me tell you about this too popular dive bar. It's seedy, overcrowded, busy AF, AND hellaciously fun with enough people. There are literally dollars falling off the ceiling and walls from all the drunk people trying to either put them on there or trying to make that extra dollar to purchase a box. What is a liquid lunch box? It's amaretto, OJ, and Coors lite amongst other things. So get to stepping with their juke box and try a drink or two. If you don't want to wait too long, then definitely go upstairs and order a quickie or two. They just don't open tabs there, and if you do open a tab... They take your card so make sure you close out and have your shiny plastic or heavy piece of metal before you leave. read more

Edna's this is a more complex review for me. I'd love to give them a higher rating, just a few key details that led to a 3 star. The most important thing is emptying the trash cans. The trash cans are so close to the tables when they are full you can smell it on the floor. It was the most horrific smell I've ever smelt, totally ruined my experience. I also had a hard time at the bar, the bartender (a woman) looked over me more than a handful of times. A little annoying, it was like hello I'm here. Luckily I had a guy notice how often I got looked over, not sure if he frequents ednas a lot but he was able to get her attention. Some highlights they have the best fried pickles I've had in OKC. They are spears, not the little cut ones. Fried perfectly, the breading stuck nicely to the pickle. I literally ordered three orders each order was consistent. The fried pickles will have me going to Edna's again. The drinks are fairly cheap, I tried a lunchbox not my personal favorite. it's very popular, worth a try. I may have drank it wrong, most people drank it like a shot. I tried to sip it lol as I was sipping everyone else was finished. I may try to take it all the next time I visit Edna's. They have a jukebox, honestly I didn't go look at the song selection. I was ok with what others picked. Give Edna's a try, it wasn't the best experience but very far from the worse! read more

We also love coming here! Gotta get there early if you want a super cold frosted mug for a lunchbox. The later it goes, the busier so glasses aren't AS frozen but still awesome. Always greeted kindly by the door guy. And we can't wait for the expansion coming up! Plus, huge bonus is the new parking lot!!! We have yet to try the food since we get there late, but Edna's is def a staple place to go to in the city. Recommend 10/10 read more

Cool vibes but terrible employees. I wasn't even sat at the bar for 5 seconds before some random employee came RUNNING up to me and demanded to see my ID. Why are you not checking cards at the door or checking when someone orders alcohol? You must not be that worried about it. It was purely a discriminatory act. He took one look at me and treated me differently than every other patron. Im a 27 year old white male. I was dressed appropriately. Polo shirt and slacks. So BEWARE if you are not OBVIOUSLY 60 years old and a regular, they will harass you as soon as you walk in. All this would be perfectly fine if he just politely asked me for my ID. He ran up to me, stood in my peripheral vision, and in a rude tone said "let me see your ID". Refused to make eye contact with me. I showed him. He took 5 SECONDS holding it up to the light. He just handed it back and didn't even say thanks or appreciate it. Just a miserable human being. read more

Well don't be like me. Make sure you bring a dollar to sign and put somewhere to leave your mark! Of course that is the tourist way to do it haha. I loved this place, the atmosphere, the drinks (mostly lunchbox) and a great killer koolaid made by Kate the awesome bartender. First off, was greeted by Kate the bartender who right off the start was super friendly and social, she quick to realize that it was my birthday weekend and wished me a happy birthday. Then we got the lunchbox 3 of them including the secret zombie box after that I didn't know what I wanted to drink so I asked Kate to make me whatever she wanted, she made a killer koolaid which was killer so good and tasty which Indeed messed me up lol. I wanted to go back to Edna's to get one more drink before Kate got off for the night however I didn't make it, until next time Edna and Kate! Thanks for the great experience and friendly people! Edna's. Ahh, Edna's. If you have to read reviews and don't know about Edna's, I'm assuming you're either new to Oklahoma or just passing through. Should you check it out? Yes. Edna's is a must-visit while in OKC...just save it for a night when you don't have any obligations the next day. Only the hardcore survive Edna's unscathed. This place is a locally famous dive bar known as a spot to get absolutely trashed on its cheap, free-flowing Lunch Boxes. If you're a lightweight or not a heavy drinker, approach with caution. Lunch Boxes are sneaky, go down fast (local tradition is to kill them in one gulp as if they were a shot), and get handed out to strangers like pamphlets at a State Fair. They're so cheap that if someone isn't sure how many to order for a group, most will just buy a few extras knowing they can hand them out. If you're not careful, you'll suddenly find yourself wondering how you ended up with the worst hangover of your life when your tab was only $7. Entering this place is like agreeing to hang out in Willie Nelson's bus after a show. You'll probably have a night to remember, but may not be able to remember any of it. If you're in a big group, it's almost guaranteed that someone is going to end up praying to the porcelain gods by the end of the night. If you're old enough to consider the fiber content of your snacks, brace yourself and have the ibuprofen ready. You're gonna need it. Edna's is covered in dollar bills, full of loud music and a younger crowd, and is best for groups looking to end the night. It's not the best place to meet new people or have deep conversations if you're going alone, but there's also a great chance you'll find a friend group that's enthusiastic about adopting a random for the night. Bring your best energy and wear some shoes that you don't mind getting stepped on or spilled on. If you're just checking it out and/or aren't a heavy drinker, beware of those darn Lunch Boxes. Need a hug? Just hit up the ladies' bathroom. This place is always full of super-friendly, supportive, super-trashed women ready to talk you into leaving the loser you've somehow ended up with or give you a pep talk about how you're going to crush your professional goals and take over the world. I can't speak for the vibe in the mens' room, but the dudes in the common area are also pretty wholesome. This is a friendly place where all are welcome. read more

This place is literally a hole in the wall with crazy amount of dollars all over the place gave me this Key West vibe bar that I once went to. The staff is awesome and very friendly. I will definitely come here again. Prices are not bad at all. This is a dive bar so nothing super fancy about the inside. We were told to go here by some locals and to have a shop called lunchboxes. Edna's is the home of the original lunch box drink. My friends who live in town had not heard of Edna's but we were invited to go. I almost opted out but am glad I didn't. It is a fun atmosphere. We opted to hang outside which is spacious and has lots of options including corn hole and fire pits. The waits at the bar are long so settle in. The drinks are cheap at $5.50 and have lots of choices. The juke box has one of the best selections that I've seen but I spent $1 to play a song and used the play next button. We were there well over an hour but I never heard the song. I think the primary complaint by our group was the long wait to the bar. People buy multiple drinks at once so they don't have to wait but then end up with warm beverages. It's a catch 22. read more

It was great until the people who work here started yelling at everyone to leave like we were fuckin toddlers.

Dive bar vibe which is fun and the bartender was super nice! I tried 3 different "lunch box" concoctions and they were all AMAZING!

Edna's is a spot that hits you in the feels! Whenever I think of Edna's, I get hit by a wave of nostalgia that takes me back to my early 20s, checking out all the dollar bills on the walls, chugging lunchboxes, and enjoying the company of friends. I love this bar! If you haven't been to Edna's, you need to add it to your list. On week days, it's more chill and on weekends it gets pretty packed. Whenever you go, you have to have at least one lunchbox! And if you don't like beer, no worries, the shot of amaretto will take care of that! A word of caution though... They allow smoking inside the bar. So if you're not a fan of that, you may want to keep that in mind. This is definitely a "go-to" spot though for bars to check out in OKC. read more

I can see the appeal of Edna's - the drinks are pretty cheap, it's a classic dive bar, no cover charge, and they have their signature drink the lunchbox. However, the parking sucks and it's overall gross, over crowded, and smokey. The seating is very limited, every surface of this place is sticky, and the crowd's vibe is not for me. The only redeeming thing about Edna's is the hot dog stand outside. The only reason why I am not giving this place a 1 star is a shadow of doubt that I might be missing the beauty of this place, but I am fairly confident that I never want to go here again. read more

They are amazing, JUST DO IT. - If you get annoyed by the crowd/want to move on, head to Sidecar right across the street.
