We had a lighting allowance set at the initial home purchase. We were contacted by email to book an appointment to come in to choose our lights. I have driven by this store front over the years and always wanted to go inside but had no reason. We were excited to get a chance to choose something for the home.. felt like things were finally happening. Due to covid-19 ,when you walk in they have sanitizer setup as you enter the building. When you have entered you are greeted by so many lighting options and all the lights are lit, so you can imagine it's super bright. We checked in at the front desk and were told our sales rep would be with us right away. We waited only a few minutes for her (Charlene Hofstede). She approached us and introduced herself and confirmed our names with her home building document (only named individuals can attend the appointment due to restrictions). She navigated us to a table to go over our plans and confirm if there were any changes we need to make and also go over the game plan. Charlene was great at making sure everything was correct on the plan and the total amount of lights we would need to pick. We started with the outdoor lighting, she wanted to ensure that we saw what the basic option was and all the other options and was very transparent with the prices. It was pretty easy as the base options were pretty decent. We quickly decided then went on to all the options for the LED flush lights and the sizes etc. We were then looking at options for our dinning, pendants for the island, entrance and lighting for the dinning room... those were a little bit more difficult. Charlene allowed us some time alone to discuss once she showed us the options and what worked together from the fixtures that caught our attention first. Once we figured out everything. Charlene went through the lightbulb selection.. who knew that was a thing?? so many different options and sizes. We reviewed the pricing and selection.. which we surprisingly only went over by $1,300.. I sure was proud of myself. I assumed I would go over by a lot.. thankfully I didn't. The restock fee was discussed to make sure that if we change any fixture after the delivery, as well as that we could do pay 50% deposit on the excess amount and the remain at the house closing. Overall great experience. Wish I could do it more often.. I recommended this place to anyone looking for a refreshing on their lighting fixtures.

I ordered a new light fixture online in January for delivery to my home. During check-out, the website estimated delivery within 3-4 weeks (around Feb.10th). I received an order confirmation email immediately, but after waiting for 10-days, I reached out for shipping information in late January. When requesting tracking information, helpdesk staff continued to provide anticipated delivery dates (no tracking details) that came, went, and I had to reach out again for updates. Eventually, they stopped responding to me - I had sent 3 requests via email without response. I tried their website "text for help" option - never received a response. I tried to call both the helpdesk number and the store number (during operating hours), and it was like they were screening me, as nobody answered and no option to leave voicemail. There were upwards of 11 attempts to connect via telephone that went unanswered. I was moments away from remitting my payment through my credit card before opting to call another location and ask for help, and the Winnipeg location was able to assist. Once my product was received, the box was opened and incredibly damaged. Luckily, the light fixture appeared to be intact. Lastly, the website states that PST may be required via separate manual payment. I received the request for PST and, in less than 24-hours, received a follow-up for payment; however, they were requesting 5x the originally quoted amount. Do. not. buy. here. The products seems great, but it's only been installed for 24hours. Even still, it's not worth the stress. This only feels like a scam.

Just narrow down the search to the particular style you want and come to the store. Service is spectacular here. Upon walking in, i was greeted and helped instantly. There are some beautiful peices here for any price range. The nice part is that everything is hung and lights are on so you can see the full effect. The ceilings are 12 feet high so they are typical of most homes. They have lots of sale items which are typically the last lf the item and are used as displays. These can be bought and taken home the day of sale. Other items if are not carried in stock take about 4 weeks...any sooner and its possible for damage to occur to the lights. I luckily snagged an amazing peice for just $39 regular $450. It was the last of its kind and display but they were doing the clearance to make room for the new inventory which arrives in october. Within one hour i had my peice all cleaned up like new and packaged nicely for transport. They sell all sort of light bulbs here too. So you can get all your needs met on one visit. The difference of here and the chain stores are that the service is spectacular. Theres a wider selection. And you get to see displays in use so that you can visulaize the light they give off. A must visit if you are buying a new home or renovating!

They told me it could be up to12-16 weeks for delivery. When almost six months had passed, and still no lights, I went in to get a refund. Throughout, they only checked on my order when I called in a prompted them. They have small print on their invoices that they cannot guarantee delivery from the manufacturer, which seems to translate into they have no responsiblitiy to provide customer service. Don't bother ordering lighting from these guys. They will hold on to your money, interest free, for as long as you will let them, but you won't receive any lighting in return!

They have a decent selection of lights - after all, that's what they do. I found the prices to be more than I wanted to pay though. The staff didn't really help me much. I kind of felt like I was on my own and out of my element. I don't know anything about lighting! Anyways, I ended up buying lights from Canadian Tire of all places. It's an OK store, not the greatest but it's not bad.

I bought a house a few years ago with a hot water on demand system. These new hot water systems…read moreare energy efficient and relatively inexpensive to maintain. The challenge however is that when they do break down, you need to find someone who knows what they are doing to fix them because they are quite different than a traditional hot water tank. I called Super Green because I was not getting any hot water, ever and asked them for a referral to a plumber. I was amazed to find out that I could actually use their plumber and that they had experience with this type of system. The plumber showed up to our call on time and was clean and polite. He was able to fix the problem and even charged me for less time than he was there because the problem took longer to diagnose than he thought it should. This level of professionalism is awesome, I wouldn't hesitate to give Super Green a call if any of the green technology in my house dies, or if I am ready to install something new like a sky light or energy efficient lighting.
