BEWARE! To be clear, I love the product I ordered *ONCE* I finally received it. If I could give zero stars for service, support, and experience, I would. I ordered a new light fixture online in January for delivery to my home. During check-out, the website estimated delivery within 3-4 weeks (around Feb.10th). I received an order confirmation email immediately, but after waiting for 10-days, I reached out for shipping information in late January. When requesting tracking information, helpdesk staff continued to provide anticipated delivery dates (no tracking details) that came, went, and I had to reach out again for updates. Eventually, they stopped responding to me - I had sent 3 requests via email without response. I tried their website "text for help" option - never received a response. I tried to call both the helpdesk number and the store number (during operating hours), and it was like they were screening me, as nobody answered and no option to leave voicemail. There were upwards of 11 attempts to connect via telephone that went unanswered. I was moments away from remitting my payment through my credit card before opting to call another location and ask for help, and the Winnipeg location was able to assist. Once my product was received, the box was opened and incredibly damaged. Luckily, the light fixture appeared to be intact. Lastly, the website states that PST may be required via separate manual payment. I received the request for PST and, in less than 24-hours, received a follow-up for payment; however, they were requesting 5x the originally quoted amount. Do. not. buy. here. The products seems great, but it's only been installed for 24hours. Even still, it's not worth the stress. This only feels like a scam. read more

We came in store and were shown lighting options and given a quote of the price. We paid the full amount up front. In the end they did not finish the job and quite a few of the fixtures were not installed properly. When I went to talk to them about it the clerk left me for another customer. They still refuse to finish the job and have not given me a refund. read more

I bought a $500 ceiling fan in addition to all my light fixtures for my new home. Dhillon Lighting were very very eager to take my money! However the ceiling fan is now defective after only 2 summers (of occasional use) and the store manger refuses to return my calls despite leaving many messages. Lara st the store told me that I only had 1 yr warranty and they couldnt do anything for me. I went t the manufacturer and they told me I had 5 yrs warranty. Manufacturer directed me back to the store for a replacement so I went back to Dhillon Lightiing and told them this information...finally they admitted they got it wrong!!! After all this I STILL have not been taken care of and nothing has been done about my defective ceiling fan. Goodness this store has me going around in circles and to top it all the manager doesn't care!! Harp doesnt return calls either and clearly lacks any skill whatsoever. We gave them soooo much business! A good business is one that actually CARES when there is an issue...and provide good customer service. This business clearly lacks this! PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE and BELIEVE the customers who are fed up with this business because its all TRUE! No star rating ! read more

Terrible customer service. When we first visited their showroom, we asked for them to check into pricing on some products and email the pricing to us, which they never did. Then, when we visited the location again, after we had researched the items we were interested in, we obtained pricing in-person. We then ordered the items we were interested in, placed our 50% deposit, and were told that some items would be up to two weeks before they arrived, and some would be up to four weeks. It has now surpassed four weeks and we have not heard a word back from them, despite two voicemail messages left with them (as they never answer the phone). I am considering a chargeback on my credit card, as we are leery of being out over $900. read more

Initially in store on July 16/20 I had a great experience as I was showed lighting choices that would suit my space. When another customer arrived she gave me her number and asked me to send her pictures of the area I wanted new lighting and she would send me a selection of lighting ideas. I sent photos the same day, when I hadn't heard anything from her I sent another text on July 18 to confirm, no response. On July 20 I left a phone message on her cell, no response. July 21st I called the store phone and they were going to have this person call me back as soon as she finished with a customer, no call back. On July 22nd I called the store again and was told she would call me back if the other salesperson didn't have time, again no call back. Then on July 23rd I called again was told she would get back to me in 1/2 hr after I said it seemed apparent they weren't interested in doing business with me, again the call back didn't happen. I felt I shouldn't have to spend so much of my time and effort attempting to get service and wouldn't trust follow up if I did choose this company. Atrocious customer service. Ordered and paid for lights 2 days before a 4-day long weekend and was told would have my lights in within one day after the long weekend. Called 3 times to check on the order over a 5 day period (left messages each time) and no callback. Later discovered the lights were likely never ordered in the first place. When the company tried to "make it right" they made a "10% off" offer, but the lights would be another 10 days because, "they had to be manufactured"......needless to say we thankfully obtained a refund and vowed to never consider this business ever again......the company did follow up with us after the refund, but all they did was really offer excuse after excuse..... read more

We did our lighting through them, very satisfied. Very reasonable prices. Loved their showroom music lol. I'm just waiting for our crystals to be hung now. I made mistake by taking yellow bulbs, but thesales person was so nice he let swap to white ones at no extra cost. Thank you guys read more

Very Bad customer service. Stay away from this store. I have placed order for my new house and they delivered and install wrong lights. When i asked them that this not the same lights order then reply was SHOCKING " WE DIDN'T HAVE THE LIGHTS YOU IN STOCK SO WE DELIVERED THE ONE WE HAD" are you serious, without asking customer you are delivery whatever you have it in stock!!!!
