I feel like an idiot!!!! I have lived 5 minutes from downtown Edmonds for the last three years and I have never known about the Edmonds Farmers Market. Boy I need to go to Edmonds more often, there's all sorts of neat shops and great smelling restaurants. It just happened that my wife, daughter and I went to go walk around Edmonds last weekend to enjoy the amazing sunny weather. Once we found a good parking spot we headed down to the main strip and my wife noticed tons of people walking around with big gorgeous bunches of flowers. We asked an older couple where they got the flowers and they told us over at the farmers market two blocks away. We were stunned beyond belief since we had no idea there was a farmers market going on. At the beginning of the farmers market there was a trailer with what looked like a brick oven style oven built into, where a pizza company was cooking fresh pizza's that smelt fanominal. As far as the market there were tons of vendors anything from fresh fruit and veggies, arts and crafts, all sorts of organic stuff, seafood, fresh baked bread, and tons of beautiful flowers. The flowers ranged from $5 for a small bouquet, $10 for a medium bouquet and $15 for a big bouquet. Some of the vendors also sell stuff at Pike Place Market. I am really glad that we found out about this farmers market. Now we are going to try and make it down once a week until it closes down. A lot of fun with tons to offer. A true gem in Edmonds.

We luv this market! Plenty of fresh vegetables, fruits, and flowers straight from local growers! Amongst the food stuffs you'll find vendors of all kinds, ceramics, glass, lawn and garden stuff. Oh and don't forget the live plants, fresh bread, and home made jams and honey! They often will have local vendors serving up specialty snacks and foods, yummy.... On the rare occasion you can even see Rick Steves, of Europe through the back door fame, wandering the streets.

This Farmer's market is huge and goes down two streets. There are food stands were you can grab brunch/lunch. Tons of fruits and veggie stands, flowers, and crafts. Lots to choose from! The only downside is that they do not allow pets. Overall, this market is the best I have been to yet!

Go to the crepe stand and try the ham, cheese and spinach crepe!

I did not expect it to be this big, it was a really great Saturday Market with food and little shops.

Updating my previous post from 8/6/16 from my recent visit on 7/26/25 (posted 8/9/25)…read more The humble beginnings of the Shoreline Farmers Market started at City Hall, then Aurora Square near Town & Country, to the current location at the 188th & Aurora Park and Ride - this seasonal community event has grown even more! It's held June to early October on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. It's recommended to show up early, use public transit, bike or walk since the surrounding lot and side streets gets pretty full. Vendors representing the market, city, community organizations and services were there. There's also live music and kids activities. There's quite the variety of goods available like fresh flowers, fresh seasonal produce, baked goods, indie artisans and their wares, cheese, meat, eggs, food vendors, onsite coffee stand, cideries, handmade soaps, candles, honey, olive oils, etc. A pleasant way to spend part of your Saturday and show your support for farmers and independent businesses since 2012!

For a while, the farmers market here had been closed joining the rest of the community in flattening the curve. However, given a better understanding of the social distancing impacts on SARS-CoV-2 spread, the Shoreline Farmers Market has reopened with guidelines in place to ensure patrons are kept safe. First of all refer to the main website for specific dates when they are open and which venders will be available. We went on a Saturday to see what they had to offer (and also because we wanted to stop by Central Market). We weren't sure what we would find but what we did see impressed us! First off, there's only one entrance into the farmers market. Be sure to have your face covering because you're not allowed in without one. They count the number of people going in to limit the crowd and then we count how many people go out as well. The first few venders were fruits and vegetables. We stopped by the cherry booth and they had rainier cherries the size of almost ping pong balls. No joke. Not only were they large, but they were sweet. A great way for us to start! We walked over to the honey vender as well; a group that sells honey harvested from hives in people's local yards. From what we are told, the honey tastes pretty consistent from location to location early in the season but as more plants and flowers open up later, local flavors start popping out. Further down was also a mushroom vender that had beautiful piece of lions mane. If you have never cooked with lions mane before, I encourage you to try especially with some pasta, pancetta and butter. Delicious! Around the corner, a family was selling fresh made mozzarella and a food truck in the back was selling sweet and savory pies. All in all, this was a good find for us and we are certainly excited to revisit in the future!

Firstly, $10 for 12 hour parking (the only option they offered) when typically on Sundays parking is free (at least at the Port Orchard farmers market it is), and we only planned on stopping by for some farm fresh vegetables and sticking around for maybe an hour. There were maybe a total of 18-20 tents all selling crafts and things of that nature. We saw household plants, but nothing "farm" related. We paid $10 for parking to essentially wander off outside the Kingston ferry terminal where the majority of shops were either closed or uninteresting. I saw another Yelp review put it perfectly, "less on the farm more on the market". The live music was ok and brought about a decent atmosphere, unfortunately that was the only redeeming quality of this experience. Again, maybe it was the time of year (end of July) or maybe it was the heat. It wasn't worth the 27 minute drive nor the $10 parking when we were there maybe 15 minutes. Go to the one in Port Orchard, they actually sell vegetables and great stuff from local farmers. I didn't take pictures because it was so depressing.

A pleasant surprise! I hadn't ever tried a guava empanada but I go for anything guava flavored so it was a must for me. The cream cheese and sweet guava jam was a perfect duo. I highly recommend trying this one but a cono was also looking mighty delicious. I also had the most amazing watermelon fruit juice made from watermelons from farmers at this market. As soon as I heard that, I wanted it. It was like adding a tap to a watermelon it tasted so good! This was a smaller market with an okay amount of vendors but just two rows to stroll through. The location though is beautiful and right by the water and park so it gets busy. The parking lot to the side was a mess with traffic but across the street there is tons of additional parking that was way easier.
