I sent her a text to let her know I needed to cancel due to transportation. Susie being the compassionate soul she is offered to come pick me up! Talk about the personal touch of a family business. I had a wonderful experience with synergy and Susie. We talked, we laughed and I didn't have to move a muscle during my mani and pedi which was a game changer for a clumsy person like me. In general, the paint job wasn't great, almost see through when I requested opaque. The prices are simply too high for a manicure that doesn't last a day. Now, to the customer service, the conversation was great! The staff was very friendly, the warm neck pillow and blanket were pleasant surprises during my pedicure. I was given a bottle upon arrival and great arm and leg messages as part of the manicure and pedicure. The massage was not the best I've ever had, but no complaints, and again great service that made me feel comfortable and cared for. Ultimately, if you're looking for a relaxing experience with friendly folks this place is a winner, if you need a manicure that looks good and lasts you may need to look elsewhere.

The place will be mobbed.  Tiffany Gaston is the owner and CNS (Chief Nail Stylist). Yes. I made that title up. But it is SO appropriate. Because when you leave this place your nails are not just done--they will have been styled. Tiffany is very meticulous and extremely professional.  I love the fact that she only takes appointments, which means no waiting.  I love it when my time is valued and I detest waiting. DE-TEST it. It also gives her time to sanitize and freshen things up between customers. And the appointments can be done on line which is very convenient. I speak full-time for a living. Can I just use my fingers to book an appt without continuing to "work?" Oh and did I say that the place is clean? I couldn't find a speck of dust. (And I looked...) The entire place is tastefully done with soft, relaxing music coming through the recessed speakers in the ceiling. Also some places will take credit cards, but will only accept tips in cash. I'm usually thinking "Now if I'm using my debit/credit card, that must mean cash is not my friend right now. Just because I have two dollars in the bank doesn't mean I have two dollars in my pocket."  With Tips & Toes you can put the cost AND the tip on your card if you desire. . I wouldn't be surprised if she takes Apple Pay. Though I am surprised I didn't ask. My permanent residence is in NYC. I can seriously see myself scheduling my trips to the south based on my nail appointments. As the good Lord would have it, she's not too far from the I-95 exit. "Road trip anyone??"

It was my fault for not asking questions on pricing. I knew it would be more than my normal pedi/mani because I was at a resort, but this was ridiculous. I was charge $15 to remove the gel off my nails in addition to new gel nails. Removing the gel was simply applying acetone to bits of cotton and wrapping each finger in foil while I had a pedi. The worst of it is my gel nails chipped off after 1 week. My previous gel nails lasted 3 weeks and only cost $45. The positive: the salon has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff and owner were friendly and accommodating.

Luckily they took me right away as I was in a rush to get my manicure and pedicure before check out at the hotel we were staying out nearby. They did a great job one my nails and use OPI polish. Note they only take cash so one of their customers had to leave after their nails were done to go to an ATM. Thankfully I had cash.
