This was a lovely place to stay for our weekend trip to Edinburgh. The host was extremely kind, and when booking.com mixed up our reservation, she quickly solved the issue. We were given a room that had plenty of space and a small kitchenette. Breakfast is served there in the mornings; for a real Scottish experience try the full Scottish breakfast! I really enjoyed that with tea, toast, and muesli. The portion sizes are great and it's lovely starting your morning in the sitting room. They had options for those with food restrictions, (non-dairy) as well as vegan and vegetarian choices.
Walkable distance to transit systems that take you to and from Glasgow. Close enough to Edinburgh city central to walk, but Uber can pick you up from the curb as well.
If visiting Edinburgh for the first time, check out the Arthur's seat hike (7 min Uber from here), Henderson's restaurant, and the Royal Mile! read more
