At each clinic I was happy with either the doctor, the support staff, or eye glass selection but never all of those things until my appointment with Savage Family Eye Clinic. Easy to make an online appointment! Dr. King spent as much time as I needed talking to me about my vision and answering all my questions. She was amazing! Wendy helped me pick out glasses as I never can find any I like. With her help I had over 5 that I really liked! She was so patient and great at giving advise and suggestions! When it came to deciding on features for my glasses she gave me honest opinions and suggestions not the most expensive. I really felt she was working to get me what I needed and not trying to sell the most expensive products! She spent time figuring out the most cost effective options that worked with my insurance without compromising the quality I needed. She ran numbers various ways to give me clear options. I left this office feeling great and excited! I am happy to say I finally found an eye clinic that offers top service by the doctor, support staff, eye glass selection, and my eye glass cost was less than I paid at the last clinic for glasses I really like! I looked into it and the clinic has it recorded as paid in full, and so does the insurance company. Clarkson charged me an additional $400 for services I already paid for. I have spent hours on hold trying to get the situation corrected, and customer service is completely unhelpful.

DO NOT BUY GLASSES HERE…read more First off, this negative review is NOT for the doctor I saw. She was incredible, professional, helpful. Everything you'd want from an eye exam visit. However, when I went to purchase my glasses, the two women running the check-in/check-out and sales were extremely unprofessional and all over the place. They seemed really pushy with other guests and kept referencing how "good a deal" everything was. When I went to order my new glasses with one of the sales employees, she said that the total was $285 and that was "wow, half off, a great deal." When I told her that I had priced out the same glasses online (using my insurance) on the Target website, it came out to $40, she said "there's no way" and got very defensive. I calmly told her that was what it said online and suggested that she might have priced-out more expensive different lenses (honest mistake) she said that there was no mistake, there is no way my insurance covered all of that, and it must have assumed no prescription and fake lenses. She told me that happens "all the time" and that her price was correct. I thanked her for her time and told her I didn't need $285 glasses, even if that was the right price. I immediately went home, found the same glasses on the Target optical website, and sure enough, $40 WITH my prescription ($30 after a promo code). She was either incompetent and plugging in the wrong info or she was upselling me and everyone she had helped while I was in there. Regardless, this kind of dishonest business practicing is terrible and needs to be called out. Don't buy from here. Use your benefits online or somewhere else!

After purchasing contact lenses at this location, I went in with a follow up question on how to…read moreclean/care for the lenses. A miscommunication happened between the receptionist and the optometrist about the purpose of my visit and it was billed incorrectly to my medical insurance. That was no big deal, mistakes happen. When I saw what had happened I contacted Target Optical, managed by Elton Eye Care, to correct it. From that point on, their customer service was a complete disaster. Instead of listening and having a logical conversation about my service and bill the staff completely denied the problem and referred me to Dr. Elton. I followed their instructions and respectfully sought his expertise. His response was to stop harassing them, that whatever happened is my problem, that he was the owner and would not respond to me unless I wanted to pay for another appointment. When I brought a problem to their attention I thought it was an innocent mistake. It became alarming when they wouldn't take time to help and were extremely rude. I would have thought they cared more about supporting their products and customers. My family of five and I could have been recurring customers for years if they hadn't refused to help solve a minor billing problem.
