Extremely disappointed with my experience with Edible Arrangements at the Saugus location. I placed my order on May 1 for a Mother's Day delivery scheduled for May 10 for my 84-year-old mother-in-law, Norma. She stayed home alone waiting all day for her arrangement, and nothing was ever delivered. We never received a phone call, text message, or email notifying us that the order had supposedly been canceled. When we finally got ahold of the store the following day, the male manager had an attitude and stated they had "oversold" on May 9. He claimed an email had been sent, but we never received one. The only email resent to me simply showed an order confirmation with a $0.00 balance, which looked completely normal since the order had already been paid in full on the day it was placed. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and dismissive attitude completely ruined what was supposed to be a special Mother's Day surprise for an elderly woman waiting at home for her gift. I paid about $70 per arrangement and what I got was completely not worth it--tiny strawberries, bland taste, and overall very poor quality. This is supposed to be a premium product, but it felt cheap and disappointing. What really made this experience unacceptable was the owner's response. Instead of trying to fix the issue, she said she "does nothing for unsatisfied customers" and brushed it off with "everyone's taste buds are different." Do NOT give this place your business. Called for an update on an order that was not delivered. Was informed that the order had been cancelled and refunded. We were never informed of this. When the Edible Arrangements store in my area could not make a Valentines day, same day delivery order for me on Thursday Feb 12th. I called this store and spoke with Armine. She said give us the address and we will check with our courier service to see if we can deliver to this address as it was a little further than their normal area. Aram, the store manager called me back himself to say they could do it for a slightly higher delivery charge. That was ok as I knew it was further for the courier. This store went above and beyond to in customer service. They could have easily said the order was not in their delivery area. They were already very busy with many other walk in and delivery orders. But Aram and Armine were professional, polite, friendly and very courteous. The order was placed, delivered and the recipient was extremely excited and happy! Thank you to Aram and Armine for excellent customer service and for helping a girl out during a very very busy time of celebration and recognition of "love and gratitude." It was important to us that the recipient received it as an expression of our gratitude and love and be able to enjoy it all weekend long. Like most holiday hosts I wanted a really cute fruit arrangement of sorts for thanksgiving. I often drive past the store so thought it be a good and convenient purchase. The customer service was great, could have been because I didn't spend much time mulling around, I knew exactly what I wanted. They had a really cute, medium size platter that had a turkey as the centerpiece chocolate . Boom. I picked it up the day before Thanksgiving, put it in the refrigerator. The next morning I opened it completely (it came plastic wrapped to death (lol good thing) ) and the strawberries were molded. Bit into an apple, it was brown and soggy. The store is obviously gonna be closed on thanksgiving, so there was nothing that could be done to replace it. I called the first thing the next business day, and was advised by a gentleman that a manager would refund me my money. Update: I got nothing but the run around when trying to get a refund. My card was lost/stolen so the store couldnt manually refund me, they sent me to the corporate office, who for a week stalled me.. Until today, I had to get a little ignant because the gentleman at the call center/corporate come telling me they cant refund me to my new card, after they made me wait all this time! Then I barked and reminded them THEY advised me they'd just send me a check. Do you know they told me a paper check would take 6-8 weeks. Final resolution from their corporate office, call my bank and dispute the charge. Moral of the story - check your stuff, even if wrapped to death, have them open it and check it. read more

Honestly wish I could leave negative stars. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I originally placed an order for a friend & her family who is going through a loss. When I paid online via Apple Pay, apparently my old number that I changed a couple months ago was still linked to my credit card through the Apple Pay system and that was the number that posted for them, even though I submitted my current number through the website. So the manager felt inclined to cancel my order after allegedly trying to call this out of service number. Did not receive an email or anything that it was cancelled only reason I knew was because I tried tracking and it said cancelled. So I called the store asking why they cancelled it, and the woman I spoke to said because it was suspicious fraud. So I explained to her the number change and gave her my current number and again all my credit card info that she claimed "she was going to process for the following day delivery". She also claimed the price was going to go up and said they only had one fixed delivery price of $14.99, even though the website claims three tiers of prices. Each depending on day of delivery as well as speed of delivery. She said "oh I didn't know that." Anyways, I also provided her with the number of the friend I was trying to send to after she asked for it. I wanted to make sure they weren't going to be bothering the family (again going through a loss) with tracking updates and stuff like that so I asked if it's necessary that I give the number. She explained if the driver gets lost, or to make sure they're home at the delivery time that they need it for these purposes. So I said okay and gave her the number. She said okay we are processing the card I'll call you back after it's done. Then I get a call from my friend saying that they called her asking her if she is me and questioning what is she expecting to receive. Basically interrogating her because somehow they think I am pretending to be her LOL like wtf. Insane, as this is the person that is supposed to be receiving the sympathy platter!!!! They call me claiming she said she didn't want the order (she never claimed this) and they said they are refusing my order now. So I call them again asking for the manager because at this point I'm confused at the level of deranged mentality here. The lady I spoke with earlier answers who is now claiming to be the "owner"(same person that was unaware of the stores delivery prices LOL) and I asked to speak to the manager several times and she refuses. Every time I try to speak she cuts me off. The rudest service. Then she hangs up on me. Then the manager picks up and he also hangs up on me, probably because he is embarrassed that they have made a mistake (the fact he was essentially interrogating my friend going through the loss is unreal). He should be embarrassed if he is claiming to be a manager. Over suspicious "fraudulent behavior"???? Why the hell would I send a sympathy item if I was committing fraud? Like that sincerely sounds so stupid. I was scared of rotten fruit, since they have moldy fruit pictures on their reviews but I decided to give them a chance because of "new management"; I guess they downgraded even more. Not sure why this place is still in business. I was in the area so it's the 1st time to this location. Fruit was bad and over ripe. Apples were not ripe. Employees can't answer very simple basic questions and they work there. Also online they offer curbside but they don't. While I was there another woman was coming in with a HUGE custom bouquet and she was livid as well as her fruit was bad. My daughter lives abroad and googled a (local to me) place to send me a birthday gift. The flowers arrived brown and wilted with petals falling off and the chocolate covered strawberries had wilted green leaves. I was disappointed that my daughter had paid so much when the quality was so bad.
