Purchased dozen chocolate covered strawberries for my wife on Valentine's Day. box was sealed and (my fault), I didn't open to inspect. I later saw the strawberries and was extremely disappointed. While the strawberries were large, ripe, and delicious, the chocolate coating was inconsistent and lacking. One berry had been dipped and covered only 25% where in one of the images I took, you couldn't even see the chocolate. I went back to the store after the weekend and spoke with the owner/manager, showing him the pictures. During our conversation, he blamed the strawberries they received (which were fantastic and the best part), blamed the rush of the Valentine holiday, and when I compared it to their advertised product showing 2/3 to 3/4 coverage - he stated their goal was for 50% coverage. He said I could bring the berries back and they would either fix or replace them. I explained they had already been given as a gift and I was NOT going to take food from a woman! No apology. Lots of excuses. Then offers a single solution that, while understandable, he knows very well people are unlikely or unable to complete. So they get the sale, the money, and continue to operate with poor quality control and zero responsibility. I could have got a far superior product from a local grocery store for much less. I would have been satisfied with just an acknowledgment and apology - that goes a long way. Will never be doing business here again. read more

Ordered gift before christmas, didn't get delivered (It was a Holiday, my fault for not ordering sooner.) Called Monday spoke to manager. He immediately ensured gift would deliver Tuesday. Zero stars! I placed an order on Sunday for Monday. on Monday I clicked on the tracking and it said it had not been received by the store. I tried calling the store numerous times only to receive a voicemail. I called customer service w ho told me they could also not get in touch with them, but that it typically happens when they work with a sister store and for me to "rest assured my order would be delivered by 5pm". I googled the closest store...it is 95.9 miles away in Mooresville, NC. I messaged the local store on Facebook - no response. So, I drove to the store. All of the lights were off with a piece of notebook paper on the door stating their system was down and they were unable to take orders (In assuming their Facebook was down too??). I called back to customer service and was again told about a sister store and to be patient to see if it arrives. It clearly is not going to arrive and if it's not, I have to make other arrangements for a gift. At that point I told them I wanted a refund and was told "We cannot issue a refund because there's still a chance you can receive it". I did do a "request" online to cancel it for it to be reviewed. Well guess what.... It is now the next day and I still have not received it or a return call from the store. read more

We have ordered from this store many times over the past six years, and all was well until recently. We always order gift arrangements for my in-laws for birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc. We always use the Edible Arrangements website to order as we live about two hours away, and recently, the store in Johnson City has not followed the website's delivery dates and delivery charges. Today, we ordered a Father's Day arrangement for $59.99, with a $5.99 delivery fee set forth by the website, for the arrangement to be delivered on Father's Day. Shortly after we placed the order, we got a call that the order will not only not be delivered to my father-in-law on Father's Day because "we are short-staffed", but there is now a NEW rule that the minimum acceptable order is $75 or more, and the delivery charge will be $24.99 (we have never been required to order an arrangement that large before) because my in-laws live in Blountville, which is, indeed, in their delivery area. It's like the manager is making up the rules as they go instead of following the Edible Arrangement website pricing. Has there been a change in managers recently? Because we have not had problems until this year, and being "short-staffed" on Father's Day seems shortsighted. Suggestion: If you're not going to follow the pricing set by the website and the delivery dates the website offers, then don't accept orders through the website. But this EA lost a regular customer today. read more

If you are looking for a unique way to surprise someone that isn't the normal flowers in a vase this is the place to go to. Fruits and chocolate bouquets! It doesn't get any better than that..well the reaction of the receiver does make it better. Not only was the staff incredibly helpful they were able to get our order shipped at the last minute, right before closing time and they give military discounts.
