Upscale items at very reasonable prices, like lamps, rugs and picture frames . . . sometimes you can find some really beautiful things hidden away on the shelves. Just be aware that the furniture that they sell, and the large rugs, appear sometimes to be seconds . . . with minor imperfections or dents and dings, but can be repaired easily making it a good purchase. This store, and the one in Hickory, NC are definitely my favorites . . . along with the big Marshalls in Greenville, SC off of Woodruff Road. The TJ Maxx companies really put a hurting on the overpriced mall stores as well as Steinmart . . . better selection and cheaper prices . . . competition is a good thing.

The manager tried to avoid the entire incident. How can you sell something I have bought and you gave me the tags off the item and a pick up slip? I will never shop in such an unprofessional place.

It seemed that I did indeed leave with all my items, but I was surprised because I did not see them in the bag with the receipt. The manager Anika looked at all their cameras to help find my items. She even went to look at the outside cameras and lobby to see if I dropped them. I started wondering maybe I should look one more time in the car ...and surprise they were in the car door! The sales people that I have encountered are always friendly and often times when there are sales, they actually come up and give you a coupon. I have also ordered online at Kirkland's and you can get free shipping to the store. I also really like that. Returns are easy and I have purchased quite a few things for my home from this Kirkland store. That being said, some of the items in the store are not always quality items. I have found other retailers in the area that actually sell better quality merchandise and more economical merchandise as well. But they are merchandised very well and it is easy to shop there. I really like that, as I don't like a messy store. I appreciate the merchandising that goes into Kirkland's.
