Ordering was easy, and we chose the pickup option. The process was smooth, and we had no issues. The arrangement was beautiful and looked just as impressive as expected. I also appreciated that they contacted us ahead of time to let us know they needed to substitute the caramel-covered apple with a chocolate-covered apple. The communication was excellent and much appreciated. The chocolate-covered strawberries were delicious, and the pineapple was exceptionally sweet. The melon was good as well. Unfortunately, the cantaloupe wasn't very sweet, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a good experience. The ordering process was simple, the presentation was lovely, and the fruit was mostly fresh and enjoyable. read more

Awful!! Smelled horrible. There was no fruit or any items in the display case and the floors were disgustingly dirty! I urgently needed chocolate covered strawberries but I am terrified to even give these away to be eaten. DO NOT GO HERE read more

Im a huge fan of fruit for celebratory gifts and Edible Arrangements always does great work. I ordered a Edible Arrangement online for my friend bday yesterdayZ They live in Gaithersburg and Germantown was the location that popped up. I ordered online the large Delicious Birthday Wishes - Large at 85.99. It included: - Just Because Bouquet® - Large - Balloon Bundles: Birthday Bundle - Dipped Strawberries: Semisweet Chocolate (Half Dipped) I like how you can select if you want to go into the store for pick up or have them deliver. I also like how you can write what you want the card to say. Currently, there was no charge for delivery which is normally $12. The package is kinda pricey but it's worth it for the smile on the face of the person who receives it. I wanted it to be a surprise and to get there before I arrived. Which it did! Great turn around ! I just wish they had a promotional code like they have had in the past. read more

0 Stars My son ordered an arrangement for his mother's Birthday. It was to be ready today by 11:00am. I arrived at 11:15am to pick it up. First, there's a foul stench as soon as you walk in the door. Then a guy comes from the back and tells me that my order won't be ready for another 15 minutes. Our order wasn't ready until 11:40am. I had a number of things planned for my wife's BD. This threw off my plans by 40 minutes. So order at your own peril read more

Why didn't I read the other reviews? Almost everyone from last Mother's Day is saying their order was never delivered. I paid $100, $14.99 in expedited shipping to have my order delivered on Mother's Day, and it never arrived. I called exactly at 8am when this location opened, and of course no one picked up and the mailbox is full (just like last year). I've tried calling again several times and nothing. I understand this is a busy holiday, but at least contact your customers letting them know you can't deliver on the promised date and offer a full refund. read more

I was out of state for work when my boyfriend got a 12 count dipped strawberries box delivered to me as a birthday gesture. I consumed the first half of the box the same day. The next morning I woke up and realized the fruit wasn't as fresh as I've normally experienced so I called the location closest to my house (this one) and the owner happened to answer my call providing me with excellent customer service and offering to remake me the order. He didn't even bother asking for my old box and was very considerate and apologetic of my experience. He gave me a sample of the new popcorn and was very polite about the whole situation. I would highly recommend this location as I believe the staff makes me feel more than just customer A or B. It was a personal and very friendly exp read more

Today July 8,2020 is my mother's 59th birthday & Edible Arrangements in Germantown, MD made absolutely special for us both. I currently live in Las Vegas and my mother is in Maryland and they made it feel like I was there! The only sad part about this experience was that the "Happy Birthday" balloon flew away during delivery but I was refunded for it so there was no problem. Just wish the balloon was included. The delivery driver called me before he left the store and called me when he got to the location of delivery. Couldn't ask for a better gift for my mother on her birthday. I highly recommend them, they have same day delivery and I only paid $10 can't beat that! read more

Valentine's day of this year it was super packed I had stopped by earlier to see if they had any pickup orders I had forgotten to place my order in advance, there were none. I ended up back on this side of town to go to dollar general, I saw Jeff coming out of edible arrangements and I spoke I said busy day today huh he said you have no idea, I asked do you happen to have any grab and go arrangements I know its close to closing, he said as a matter of fact I do I went into the store and was able to get my Grandsons a box of chocolate cover strawberries, Jeff even gave me a great price on them. I was so happy that I was able to surprise my Grandsons with yummy treats. Thank you again, Jeff read more

My best friend and I have been fans of Edible Arrangements since high school and since then we have been ordering treats from them for quite some time :) When I found this location was so close to where we live we decided to go in and get a chocolate covered strawberry for each of us just for a treat When I tell you this was the freshest chocolate covered strawberry I've ever had... wow We had the pleasure of talking to the owner when we went in and we told him how our experiences at other locations were not as good (the quality of the fruit wasn't that great and the customer experience didn't feel as personal). He told us about how him and his wife had just acquired the business and were doing everything they could to give the location a fresh start! I will definitely be going back, my experience was awesome and I like knowing that I'm supporting a small business that cares about their customer's experience and quality of their products! read more

Ordered an arrangement for Mother's Day and it was never delivered. I live out of state and ordered this for my mother In law. I even had ordered it for delivery on Friday instead of Saturday or Sunday ,thinking it would be a little less hectic. I spoke with Tory on Saturday and she assured me the arrangement would be delivered, however it's Tuesday and it still hasn't been delivered. Thank you for the disappointing service. read more

I purchased an arrangement for Mother's Day and the item was never delivered. I tried calling this morning and no one at the business is picking up the phone. I called corporate and they are refunding me my money and logging a "complaint" with the store...whatever that means. I am glad to have my money back but I was the only child in my family to not give something to my mother this year on Mother's Day. Thanks Edible Arrangements Germantown for making me look awful this year!!!! read more

Extremely disappointed in this location. Purchased an arrangement for Mother's Day and it was never delivered. We even paid an additional $20.00 to have it delivered on Sunday. You have to call several times until you get an automated message. When you try to leave a voicemail....it's full..go figure. Trying to get in touch with corporate is as well is extremely frustrating and is no help. No one answers! Can not believe we spent over $100 in this bs. We demand a refund of our arrangement or will pursue further action. read more

Stopped by hoping I could get something last minute for my pregnant wife to munch on. The young man behind the counter was very helpful and professional. He said there were only a few options for immediate pick up. He was able to make something within 15 minutes. Ended up getting a 12-piece chocolate covered strawberry and apple arrangement. Chocolate on the fruit was amazing. Fruit was fresh. My advice would be you guys do something with the store front and lobby to make it look more inviting/clean/professional read more

I walked in here today with my two year old, requesting a box of dark chocolate covered strawberries for a bday. The service was outstanding and child friendly. I received a box of fresh strawberries about 10 mins after I ordered and she even brought them out to my car, seeing I had a toddler. What a GEM. Not to mention, THEY WERE DELICOUS AND SHE added two free choc covered strawberries for me and my child. Will recommend and go here again and again and again! read more

I was very disappointed in the gift I ordered for my mom on Mother's Day from this shop. I ordered the assorted cheesecake box, with a balloon, and a bag of popcorn. She sent me a picture and it did not look like what is posted on the website. None of the cheesecakes had the cream that is shown in the pictures on the website, the banana was not dipped in chocolate, and one of the cheesecakes was left completely empty without fruit when it is pictured on the website as having whip cream and blueberries on top. The balloon I purchased to be delivered was not delivered with the other items. I tried calling the number for this local shop, as the Edible Arrangements website suggests if you have issues with your order, and the number just keeps ringing. When you do get an automated answering machine, it will not let you leave a message as their voicemail box is full. I emailed the company to see if I can get my money back or at least get some kind of compensation. I would not order from this shop! read more

I got a Edible Arrangements for Valentine's Day from this location. Delivery was made promptly and right at 9 AM which is a good time to get a delightful treat. However, this treat was not so delightful. It was a pineapple and strawberry bouquet, and it was not fresh. I have gotten and given many Edible Arrangements and this one was probably the less freshest one ever. First the pineapple was very hard and not ripe. The strawberries were mostly soft and already going bad. These fruit bouquets usually can last me a couple days, but this one was ready to be thrown out by mid-day. The delivery person was sweet and very pleasant. But as for the quality of the fruit - it needs major work. read more

I placed a same day order from the west coast for delivery by a local store on the east coast, and saw that on the website it said to order by 3 pm for same day delivery. I kind of spaced and forget that MD is 3 hours ahead of where I live. I called and spoke to Karuna, she was very sweet and said that it was past 5 and they couldn't do it until the next day. I told her how much it meant to me for it to get there the same day to deliver a smile to someone, and she went out of her way to do a little extra work to get the order in for the same day for me. Thank you so much! That is what I call going the extra mile. Great service. Thanks, Karuna! read more

Germantown location is STRAIGHT GARBAGE. They will take the money from your order and never deliver the product. Not only will your purchase not make it to its destination; this "business" does not seem to understand the concept of phone or how to pick it up when it rings. Place is a black hole for your hard earned money. Please look somewhere else if you want your gift to actually to get to where it is supposed to go. read more

I ordered an arrangement for my fiancé today on Valentine's Day that was missing a few items so I called just to follow up with my order and was caught by surprised by the unprofessional customer service I received. They not only refused to pass me over to a manager but hung up the phone on me 3x after I calmly asked for a manager over and over or contact information so that I may speak to someone about the situation. In the end my problem still has not been resolved and I am disgusted and extremely disappointed in the poor customer service at this location. I hope someone fixes it soon before they lose more business. read more

We received a Thanksgiving arrangement as a gift. It is great. Lots of different fresh delicious fruits arranged beautifully. The chocolate covered caramel apples are to die for. The delivery person, Jeff was great also. He was persistent in phoning to make sure we aware of the delivery since we didn't hear the knock at the door. Thanks Jeff. read more

Due to unforeseen circumstances I was forced to get my Father's Day gifts at the last minute. Jeff kindly and expertly guided me through their product selection and helped me pick the best item for each recipient. He was very patient and took the time to describe each item and even gave me some personal recommendations of his own! At the last minute I had to change my order from pick up to delivery and he was even accommodating about that. I definitely recommend this establishment if you want amazing customer service with a personal touch! read more

This is the 3rd time I receive arrangements from this location where the fruit is not even close to fresh. Last 2 times strawberries were half rotted today the dozen chocolate covered strawberries were swimming in juice in each wrapper it is shameful they could not use fresh quality berries I have ordered from many locations in MD and they've been great except this location. They clearly don't take pride in the quality of their product. Don't waste your money use a different location of edible arrangements read more

I ordered an Edible Arrangements for my mother on the Thursday before Mother's Day. I don't live with her so I paid an additional $20 to have it be delivered on that Sunday. My sister had texted me that night letting me know that it had never gotten delivered. I understood they were busy due to it being a busy holiday. I gave it another day to see if it would get delivered. Come Monday night there was still no delivery. Mind you, I was calling all day Monday trying to get ahold of them and get a status update on my order. Whenever I would call, I would get sent to a voicemail option. When I tried to leave a voicemail I couldn't because their mailbox was full. I went today (Tuesday) to get an explanation as to why it hadn't been delivered. The lady couldn't even give me one as to why there was no delivery or why I hadn't gotten an update on my order. All I could get from what she told me is that they didn't have the supplies that they needed to proceed with my order. I asked why they couldn't call me or email me letting me know of their issues with my order (I would've just asked for a refund then) and she couldn't give me an answer. I understand Mother's day is a busy holiday but that's no excuse to not communicate with your customer. I was offered a new delivery date or a refund. I asked for a full refund because I can't count on them to still deliver my order. Highly disatisfied, would not recommend! read more

I was unable to celebrate my sister's birthday with her this year due to COVID-19. She is a nurse and was actually working on her birthday but leaving work early. So I called up Edible Arrangements in Germantown, MD and asked if they could try to make the delivery before she left. They were very gracious and understanding. The manager called me back to tell me that although they were extremely busy with larger orders, they would try. Long behold this beautiful arrangement arrived just in time! Will be ordering from here again and recommend to everyone! :) read more

This occurrence warranted my first Yelp review ever (after using it for years). Ordered a Mother's Day arrangement (chocolate covered strawberries and balloon) for my wonderful mom. Received email confirmation. Delivery was NEVER MADE! Called them the day after. Their response: "We had a lot of orders that day and your order must have been lost." Seriously? You weren't prepared for Mother's Day deliveries??? So now I look like I forgot about my mom on Mother's Day! Then they say they will make the delivery and refund my payment. Fast forward to Thursday: still no sight of delivery. Call them again. This time they say they will refund my payment (nothing about still making the delivery). I tell them fine whatever just give me my money back and I won't use you ever again. Friday now, still no refund. If I don't receive my refund by next week I will tell my bank the charge was fraudulent! I order edible arrangements for people all over the country (it's my go-to gift) and this location obviously doesn't have their shit together at all. NEVER AGAIN!!! -end rant read more

Received a gift for my bday and Easter from a family member. Arrived home and delivery was upside down (had just been out on an errand - so arrived within 45 minutes of the delivery). Strawberries smelled way past due as well - like wine. I called the Germantown location. A person named "Smith" seemed worried only about his driver. The whole customer service experience was absent. He never asked my name address or order number. Frustrated after 5 minutes of trying to educate the owner of the location that I was not happy, I gave up and called corporate. Not much better. They said they did not have record of the order and after the call was completed the corporate office email my family member- gifter in this case. They asked the gifter what the problem was. Really? When my family member called the Germantown location and spoke to "Smith", he (claimed to be owner) denied I had even called or that there was any issue. A disaster and I never got a call back, email or any resolution. This all occurred 3/30. Terrible. This company is horrible. read more

This was the best customer service I have experienced in a while. Jeff the new owner was attentive, paid attention to my needs, offered suggestions that also saved me on delivery charges, I even left with a few chocolate covered treats to snack on, free of charge. I just want to send a shout-out to NEDA at the local Edible Arrangements in Germantown. She has delivered 2 arrangements to our house in the past week and we were so impressed with her big smile, positive attitude and amazing personality overall . The first time she came to our house with a delivery we were not home so she texted me and was kind enough to go to our neighbor's house to drop off the arrangement.... and turns out we had flowers on our doorstep as well so she let me know and offered to take those over to our neighbor as well. (even my neighbor commented on "the very nice delivery girl.") Yesterday Neda made another delivery to our house and again euded such positivity and kindness. All delivery people should learn from her! She represents Edible Arrangements very well and is wonderful at customer service ~ we will definitely be using the Germantown Edible Arrangments store in the near future so we can "work" with Neda again. Kudos to you Neda - keep up the great work because people definitely appreciate a kind word and smiling face! read more

Fruit was fresh and the chocolate was tasty. But the service was bad. This is the second time I have had bad service. First time I ordered on the web and went to pick i up in the afternoon as I had planned. No rush anywhere. She said 10 minutes. I waited 20. Ordered online for Friday morning pickup at 9:30. They open at 8:00 AM. arrived at 10:00 AM. She said 10 minute wait. So, i left and came back 15 minutes later. Not ready. I saw her hurriedly making it while I waited another 5 minutes. I wish I read the reviews before ordering from this location. I called the place around 8:30am specifically inquired on whether an order can be delivered by 11am today, the guy I spoke with confirmed that they could and I placed the order with him. This is a holiday gift for my daughter's preschool, which was closing early for holiday today. When I went to pick my daughter up from school, I asked how they enjoyed the arrangement I sent, all I have to say was what an embarrassing moment. Not only was it not delivered, I didn't even get a call to be informed of the delay. When I called them, the same guy picked up and when I inquired on why the arrangement never arrived, he placed me on hold for 10 to 15 min and came back to tell me it should arrive in 10-20 min. When I told him that wasn't acceptable as the school will be closed and there will be no one to accept the delivery, he proceeded to offer me discounts and other things, which I appreciated as he was admitting fault but I requested a refund since they didn't deliver what was promised. Well, that's another story there, long story short, he had to call his manager multiple times and they were not trying to give me a refund but eventually told me they'll be refunding, which I'm still waiting for the confirmation email. I most definitely don't recommend this place at all!!!!!! read more

Since we are in a middle of a global pandemic, I like many others could not be with our Mother's during Mother's Day weekend. I called the store and get a recorded message about their store hours which is a joke. Cannot leave a message because the mailbox is full. Call the 1-877 customer service number and it puts me in an endless loop of NOTHING! Thanks for ruining Mother's Day in a time where I have only seen my parents ONCE since early March as a way to keep them safe.
