Received a featured Mother's Day flower arrangement plus balloons from my son via Edible Arrangements in Elgin. First off the flowers DO NOT ARRIVE in the vase arranged as shown in the photo. Instead they are untrimmed, stuffed in a bag with the vase empty. For $97 They should've been trimmed and arranged - it took 20 mins to clean, trim and arrange!! Not what I wanted to be doing on Mother's Day morning! The flowers were mostly dark maroons and purply dark blues - very dreary and looked like death rather than Spring. Less than 24 hours later and the hydrangea is already drooping and dead. Go to real florist and get professionally arranged flowers - this place should stick to cookies. read more

closed on fathers days when there are no business hours posted that they will be closed that day! i had an order for pickup up ,on fathers day, that i had ordered a week in advance. i get to the place and the guy comes to the door saying we're closed and does not give me any futher information about my order or how to get a refund. he doesnt even open the door to talk to me. this privately owned company is very unprofessional and will not be wasting anymore money here. absolutely disgusting service!!!!! read more

Horrible experience. It was our wedding anniversary on May 10 and had it delivered. Wife was home so brought it in right away. Upon opening 80% of the fruit was spoiled and the only edible items were the pineapples and chocolate covered strawberries. When I called they started making excuses that fruits are coming in bad so they are working with what they have. What type of business is that? I asked for the owner to call me and they said they would by Tuesday. Never received that call. Called them back a few days later and they were trying to offer me 10% refund. What a joke. Placed an order today and it arrived on time. All the fruit looks like it is ready to spoil. The grapes are squishy and brown, the strawberries are very dark red, soft and ready to mold. This is not the quality I have received in the past. read more

For my husband's and my Anniversary, I thought getting him an Edible Arrangement might be a cute idea. I've had Edible Arrangements in the past (from different locations) and they were always very good. So I ordered an arrangement and anniversary balloon bundle, which totaled to almost $120. So I stayed home waiting for the delivery, which I assumed would be in the morning (otherwise I would have picked it up myself). I called them and they said they can't guarantee delivery times. Fair enough. After waiting for hours, it came at 2:30 PM. The store opens at 8:00 AM, so yes, I was waiting by the window since 8:00 AM because my doorbell was broken. Anyways.. Once it arrived, I noticed that there was only one balloon attached to the arrangement with the ribbon really crappily curled. I had to recurl it to make it look decent. I paid for a balloon BUNDLE. Shouldn't a bundle be more than one balloon? Maybe like at least two? I would have been better off going to Party City and buying a few balloons for the same price. As far as the fruit.. Omg. The grapes were all soft. Not one was firm. All of the fruit had tons of condensation on them. The strawberries didn't look good. The dipped apples weren't crisp and the chocolate coating was soggy. Some of the melons were starting to turn transparent, as fruit tends to do when it is cut far in advance. I asked my husband how much he thinks I paid for the basket, and he guessed about $40. What an embarrassment!! It was obvious that they made my arrangement far in advance as none of the fruit was fresh. It was a basket of soggy and soft fruit.. Which some of it even started to take on the taste of the kale that is used as filler in the cup. SO DISAPPOINTED! I am not the type of person to demand refunds, I just like to gather my dignity and never return to a place that has disappointed. Don't waste your money. read more

Had an arrangement of chocolate covered strawberries and a balloon sent to a friend of mine who just had a baby. She absolutely loved it! It was nice for her to get something a little different than the usual, and she could sit down and enjoy a tasty and somewhat healthy treat! Their customer service was great too.. I ordered specialty chocolate covered strawberries ("I love you berries") for my husband on Father's Day and received plain ones. If I wanted plain ones I would have ordered plain ones and paid for plain ones. I wanted the specialty ones with all the pomp and circumstance so I paid for the specialty ones. I'm assuming most orders are not placed by the person living with the recipient so the store probably assumed I wouldn't find out. This was a huge rip off. I was considering ordering from the Schaumburg store but figured the Elgin one wouldn't have as much traffic on fathers day and would be able to do a good job. Mistake. Then they tried to give me a $20 credit and stated my delivery will be there today. 4 hours later no delivery, called again and told me the next delivery would be the 12th again. Canceled order. The order was not was like what was posted in your site, the strawberries i received were not coated with chocolate! I called the Elgin, IL store to complain and a certain Hannah said the owner will call me. After sometine no call from the store so I made a f/up. Spoke with a certain Kaitlyn, who referred me to corporate and said the owner will not call me just because of my issue. After sometime I still did not get a call from the store nor an apology. I called to follow up, I spoke with a girl from the said store who refused to give her name. I told her what my issue was and she said she can send a box of strawberries.coated with chocolate to my work, but i said i do not work Saturdays and I asked if they can deliver to my home address. She said no, we cannot deliver to your home address and said that we usually do not deliver to your work address but we did and she was sayng that 'rubbing it in your face' manner. I said never mind, I will just call back and she interrupted me saying YOU ARE NOT GOING TO CALL US BACK AND I WILL HAVE YOUR NUMBER BLOCKED! Do yourself a favor and find another service or order from a higher-rated store. I ordered on behalf of my six-year old daughter to send her mom/my wife an order for Mother's Day. Half of the order was not there, and when I called the store to have the item delivered, no one answered after multiple calls and there was no option to leave a message. Upon calling the number listed on their website, I was forwarded to an Edible Arrangements store in St. Petersburg, FL, where the employee told me that he could do nothing for me since it was not his store. My daughter is crying because the main item she wanted her mom to get did not come. Furthermore, how is one to know if the entire order shows up when sending to somewhere they will not be present? If I sent this to another location, my recipient would never know that the entire order was not sent. I received a confirmation that my order was delivered, but it was not delivered in it's entirety. I see similar experiences with multiple other customers, this seems to be a common enough occurrence. I would highly recommend avoiding this location. read more

Worse experience ever! It was 11:00am and my order was still pending delivery in their system. Reached out to the Elgin store and the young lady (Brittney) was unprofessional and not helpful. She stated my delivery would be out this afternoon but couldn't provide me with the full details. She suggested I move the date to the following day. Excuse me????? I let her know i would be there in 1/2 hour to pick them up myself. When I arrived, she handed me a bouquet of flowers like the ones you buy at Jewel. I told her; this is not what the picture indicated when I placed my order online. I let her know i need the flower in a vase or something. She stated we don't have vases and that is what you ordered. At this point i was already very frustrated and walked out, as i was walking out she said YOUR welcome and have a NICE DAY!! With a sarcastic voice..... Went to this store on Sunday 9/17 to buy a gift . Advertised hours say open Sunday until 2 and I arrived at 1:15. Door locked, lights off - no sign on door to explain why they were closed. If you advertise hours, you should be open. read more

The Manager Ariel is one of the best that works her hardest to make every customer happy with what they order and the workers do their hardest as well. The arrangement I got looked incredibly amazing and I was happy with their customer service! Elgin is one of the best stores. read more

Edible arrangements in here should only be ordered online. After walking in at 10am I waited 10 minutes for someone to come out from the back. The young man who came out was very nice and helpful. I placed an order for delivery to be sent out at the latest delivery time. A female worker actually walked in fast and went straight into the back no hello just seemed like she was pissed and didn't want to be there. Two hours after realizing I forgot to choose a color for the base I called back and spoke to a woman about it. I told her I forgot and didn't get to choose a color for it- which I wanted a aqua color and she said it was already made and out for delivery and its green. I said it's only noon and I specifically mentioned for it to be delivered at the latest time which would be 5 PM and that there is no way it could actually be out for delivery. So right there she was caught in a lie. She put me on hold for a minute and I heard her say "That's fine-"but in a very snobby tone. Before I could even finish saying thank you she hung up on me. This is not the way customer service should be. Part of me wanted to call back and say to her that she was rude. If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered a "last minute" arrangement at 3:15pm this Sunday. Store hours say until 7pm. When I called to place my order I had a 20% off email of $50 or more. The "promo" code didn't work even though I had the email to confirm..This was beside the point I still ordered an arrangement and expected delivery. When I warned the recipient that it was coming she had called me to tell me that they missed the delivery. Not a big deal until I called the Elgin location and spoke with someone who told me that they "left it with a neighbor" I NEVER authorized this and in this day and age who knows if they neighbor would actually be honest that they received the gift. I asked to speak with a manager, spoke with SERENA. I explained I know being a "late" order things may be rushed but I would like to be informed the delivery was not made to the correct house.. She explained this is policy to leave it with whom ever answers the door.. My frustrations are the way the entire situation was handled. After speaking with "owner/manager" she did not offer anything to make the situation better. I explained I am an owner of 6 business' and my success comes from customer service! Saying "sorry" doesn't cut it unless you lead with that in the conversation. She only expressed her "sorrow" after I asked her how I was going to be compensated for this unprofessional experience. IF I was explained "company policy" of leaving the arrangement with "whoever answers the door" I could have been less upset however SERENA was RUDE, inhospitable, and unprofessional. After I asked her for the corporate number and her last name she explained that I can "Google" that information and refused to comply. If I am a "business owner" I would have no reason to NOT give out my first and last name. Actually I would never let a situation escalate to the way it did to the point where my customers were this dissatisfied with a service. I will NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND anyone to go to this location due to the lack of professionalism. I WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE, not for a refund but to give them feedback as to the handling of their brand name. read more
