It clearly was not, and the older lady (the owner) was so belligerent that she actually made my wife cry with frustration. They were very nice to do this (I'll give them that), but I go to pick it up, and the windshield had handprints all over it. You'd think for a glass shop they'd at least clean up their mess. She managed all the subcontractors, scheduling and sign offs. Invoices were clear and reasonable. We never would have gotten this far or been as happy if we had tried to do ourselves. We were selling our house and entered into a contract with a buyer who ordered a pest inspection…read more The inspection report was absolutely over the top, and the estimated repair costs were outrageous. One example? We have a brand-new, fully permitted, and county-inspected roof--it passed multiple inspections, and the final permit was signed off by the county with no issues whatsoever. Yet, the inspector insisted that the roof needed to be torn apart to fix a couple of tiny spots of dry rot, each about the size of a quarter. It was purely surface-level--nothing more than a bit of surface distressing that just needed a little scraping, treatment, and a coat of paint. The surrounding wood was solid and in good condition, but their solution was to tear up the new roof, "attempt" the repair, and then try to put it back together. Even more shocking, their proposal stated that if they couldn't put the roof back properly, it would be our responsibility--the homeowner's--to pay for the repairs. Buried in the fine print was this little gem: "If we damage the roof during repairs, it is the owner's responsibility to replace it." This is a $15,000 brand-new roof, and they were suggesting it could be completely ruined--and left to us to fix--over some tiny spots of dry rot that could have been handled with basic maintenance. The whole approach felt careless and completely unreasonable. To make matters worse, my husband is a contractor and immediately pointed out that it would be impossible for the roof to be "reset" properly after being torn up like that. For them to imply that they would "try" is absolutely absurd. Allowing them to do the repair would have easily cost us thousands of dollars. Thanks to their ridiculous report and inflated repair suggestions, the buyer ended up backing out of the sale entirely.

I had carpet and vinyl plank flooring along with new baseboards and they did a beautiful job.
