I initially went to Edgewater Glass & Mirror to get a square piece of glass cut for a table top. They did a nice job, so I asked them if they could do a curved top for a small bar I have. They said to bring in a stencil of the bar, so I tried my best, but I have to be honest the stencil I brought in was absolute crap. How they were able to make a perfectly fitted glass bar top out of that is beyond me, but they did. Smoky grey glass that fits like it came with the bar - absolutely perfect. Thanks y'all! read more

Maybe I was one of the lucky ones, but I am shocked by some of the negative reviews on here. I was trying to find a place to make a custom mirror to put on my bar for my home. Being that I am from Los Angeles, I was looking to get a customized Lakers mirror. Now you can guess how people in Denver would react to something of that request! I spoke with Aaron, and maybe it is because both the Lakers and Nuggets are horrible this year, but he was quick to help me out without questioning my allegiance. The job they did was phenomenal! The turnaround was quick and the price quote for what I got seemed extremely reasonable. They actually custom drew on the logo to the mirror, and colored it in Purple and Gold. My husband and I stopped in Edgewater glass recently to get a quote on a 48" X 60" mirror for the bathroom... We were given a rough estimate of $375. Yesterday, I called to set up an appointment to have someone come out and measure the wall prior to the mirror being cut and installed as there is a hole that needs to be cut out of the mirror to accommodate existing electrical (light fixture) on the wall. The guy who answered the phone told me that they do not come out to measure unless we have placed the order. I told him, again, the size of the mirror and he then quoted me $550. When I replied to him that the price was higher than we were originally quoted... He hung up on me! My order has been placed elsewhere! read more

This is a great company! I have a heavy glass dining room table that I have had for over 30 years. A 150 pound glass table top is supported by a base comprised of four trapezoid base pieces. One of the pieces was broken in the course of mitigating water damage due to a frozen pipe. I was worried that I would not be able to find someone who could make the piece because of the unique shape and because of the type of glass used for a 30 year old table. I started contacting glass companies and was told it could not be duplicated. I contacted Peter at Edgewater Glass. Edgewater Glass made it exactly like the original! I am so impressed with this shop! I brought a double pane window in just yesterday afternoon that needed new glass and a new seal. I missed the cut-off for being able to do a 1-day turn around (since they usually order the glass to size) and I was really bummed about it. But, it turns out, because the glass was small enough, they said they could cut it there and have it ready next day! Sure enough, I called at noon today to see if it was finished... and it was! (This never, never happens to me, so I am really excited). I get to the shop only minutes after calling and the window looks awesome! I've already re-installed it, it is so nice to check one more item off my to-do-list. Bonus: the guys there are really friendly, and extremely helpful. My husband and I had a good experience with Edgewater Glass & Mirror. I had called them to get a quote for a piece of glass for our large front window. He gave me a good price and said it would take 5 minutes or less to get the glass cut once we were there. I called around to other places, such as Home Depot and another glass place, and not only were the employees rude, they said it would take much longer to get the glass (if they could get it at all) and for a much higher price. My husband was able to pick up our glass without issues, and it was cut perfectly and fit in our window pane without issue. I went to Edgewater Glass a few weeks later and took the window in (it was a lift out model) and they fixed it for the same price they quoted me several weeks earlier on the phone, which i did not tell them - honest! When I asked them when it could be done, it was a few days out, but in the meantime I had no window in the house . When i asked to move it up because it was urgent, the manager did that for me and it was ready the next day! They did a great job and were very courteous. These guys kill it. Had them fab / install a 8' mirror and shower door last week. I sent them drawings, they sent there installer out the same day to verify dims. Turned my order around and had everything installed within 5 days of giving them a deposit on the job. Bottom line.... competitive prices / family owned and operated / quick turn around. While the guys here are very nice and offer the convience of bringing in your repair I'm very disappointed that they didn't listen to my needs. I needed to repair an old cheap sliding glass door from a rental I was living in. Yes, I was given an estimate, however when I realized the glass was not tempered and they realized it as well, I was expecting it be less expensive. When I dropped off the door, I specifically said it was for a rental I was moving out of, asked that it be replaced with the same type of glass and if they could do anything on the price that would be great. They did not mention they would be using tempered glass and I certainly didn't want to spend $216 during the holidays on a piece of crap door on a rental I was moving out of at the end of the month. When I picked it up and paid and expressed my concern, they stated they will get in trouble if they didn't use tempered glass. Lol what a bunch of crap because I saw plenty of non-tempered glass waiting to be picked. Bottom line they didn't listen to me and my needs and were more interestd in making an extra buck during the holidays, of all times. read more

Terrible service, completely undependable company. I made an appointment to have several windows installed and took time off work so I could be there. I received a call from Peter that morning asking for measurements. Once I gave them to him he told me they may not be able to do the job that day and he would call back in 30 minutes to let me know. 3 hours later I call and talk to Rich who informs me they are running 3 hours behind and won't be able to get to my job until sometime the next week. No thanks. It's December, I have a broken window and Rich obviously didn't care that they screwed me with no notice. I'm pretty sure I'd be waiting for a call that never comes or a crew that never shows if I had rescheduled. If you don't have time to sit at home all day I'd go somewhere else. read more

Initially I thought they were responsive and good. Replaced my glass and took frames away to make new screens. Flash forward two weeks and the screens they initially took to re screen came back the wrong size. Other screens which were promised Friday, I haven't heard back. I get with the hail storm they are very busy. All I ask is if you tell me you will be here, be here. If something comes up, call me. They also lost all of the measurements and I had to call them two times with them. Hmmm. Not a great experience, wish I would not have paid when they came out the first time. Very upsetting experience. UPDATE: Aaron did offer to help me out, with a question of what I thought was fair. I declined to take a discount. Two things, get an estimate from them in writing so you won't have the sticker shock. I would also encourage the business to handle their front office more efficiently. To have to call several times to find out they lost the measurements, and to arrange for delivery, is ridiculous. I was also told that I hadn't paid for the initial work (I had my cancelled check as proof). The owner was nice about the mistakes, but it was just very expensive and frustrating to work with them. I admit to giving three screens that were the wrong size, and would have paid for those, but the rest of the experience was horribly, horribly frustrating. Wrong screens delivered, lost the measurements (twice), no return calls on delivery, forgot that I had ordered 4 additional screens. I waited at home for a delivery, no show. They got backed up. I get it, just let me know. I won't use them again. read more
