Edgepark used to reliably ship my Uncle's medical supplies to him every month. Then something changed, and now it's a fight with them nearly every month to get them to ship the supplies my uncle is entitled to which have already been prescribed by his doctors and authorized by the insurance company. I don't understand why they are apparently no longer capable of reliably doing the thing that is their very reason for existing. If your insurance company "assigns" you to Edgepark for providing your medical supplies, I encourage you to call the insurance company and tell them to assign you to someone else. I called six times. SIX times. Six times regarding my first order. A month had passed and I still had not received the order. Each time I received a different explanation for why they hadn't been processed. I asked and spoke with a "supervisor" who stated she would check into it and call me back. She never did. I was forced to buy my medical supplies on Amazon. They arrived, of course, the next day. To add insult to injury I am receiving emails that it was time to place my next order. What? There is no reason a person should have to deal this extra stress after major surgery. The customer service team is a joke and so is a company that tolerates these bad reviews. There is no point in contacting them to resolve anything as the just don't care about you or your well being. This company will openly deny life saving supplies and make no exceptions. This company is willing to let people die and give excuses for why they won't send you your supplies. Would give 0 stars if possible. Company is unprofessional, employees are rude and lack any empathy. You would think a company providing medical supplies to patients who are in need would care, but anytime you interact with them, they just cause more frustration and heartache. Basically we need our insulin supplies, but they keep delaying the process. We've had two insurances on record with them, a primary and secondary. After some time Medicare took over and became primary. Instead of an easy switch, we were basically told, they'd have to re-verify everything and that it would be 4-6 weeks as if we were a new enrollment. On top of the fact that they are always late or need to be reminded of our orders. As a "compensation" for the delay, they offered to send our supplies if we paid full price for the supplies until the Medicare is verified. When asked if they'd refund the difference after, they basically went silent. What a scam. Then asking when we got our pump (the exact date). When we gave an estimate, the guy on the call rudely says it has to be exact date even though we didn't even get the pump from them and it's been years, you know, because people don't always remember the actual date they got a piece equipment to keep them alive. Additional questioning on top of that that just continues to frustrate us over the course of the call. At one time, we coughed during the call and basically the guy says "reminder we are on a recorded line." I'm sorry I needed to cough and that it's recorded. Each 90 days, they require a changing scope of documentation that ALWAYS eesults in recieving my Dexcom sensots AFTER my last one expires!! This time, I re-ordered via a request in the MY Chart app at Cleavelend Clinic on March 3rd. Many calls -- finally I connected them and Medicare to verify my Part B order was complete, on 3-21! Today 3-23, I am notified it shipped -- and will be here in a WEEK?! They seem totally unwilling to plug holes and/or improve their systems!! read more

They dragged me along every time asking to check back in 30 business days. over a year later after reciveing monthly reminders for a Bill of a product I never recieved they told me their denying dropping the bill. This company gets one star from me only due to the fact I can't assign a zero. I am a disabled Veteran and had a procedure done at my Hospital last Friday. The Care Team submitted an order for supplies. They did say if I hadn't heard from the company to call them. So today I call and after persistence on my part, they found the order. They then said that they didn't accept the VA Program for Disabled Veterans. They didn't call at all to follow up. When I asked, the lady essentially said she didn't care that I was a Veteran and they don't accept my insurance. Poor customer service, no compassion and just plain disrespectful. Was referred to Edge Park by the manufacturer of a medical device prescribed for me. Manufacturers are not permitted to sell directly to patients. Products must be provided to patients by a distributor. And so I was referred to Edge Park. In checking them out I saw that customer reviews were just plain bad. But - I thought I had to at least try them. I returned their automated call the next day and got a customer service agent whose English was outrageously deficient! I had the woman repeat what she said 5-6 times in 5 minutes. She was impossible to understand, which made conversation with her pointless. I wondered exactly who was the numbskull who thought she would be a fit for this job. Decided to give up on Edge Park then and there. For the last 4 years I have had issues with this company. Prior to them working from home it wasn't bad. As a person with a colostomy, I rely on my supplies being delivered each month. So, when they continue to mess up my account such as canceling my insurance (same one I've had since 2016), losing my order, cancel my form of payment and the most recent stating my doctor needs to update my medical needs which is required yearly per my insurance company, (not true). I have been trying to get my order for 3 weeks. I have spoken with my insurance company, who informed I have a lifelong order for any ostomy supplies (except specialty items). Not one person I have spoken with at Edgepark can seem to take accountability for someone entering the wrong information into the system. During many of my calls to their customer service representatives I have had the honor of hearing dogs, music, other family members, very loud fans and most recently the sound of a rooster in the background. I would say this is not only unprofessional but also a violation of my privacy. At some point there needs to be accountability on their part. I feel as if they hold me hostage by the fact, I would not be unable to leave my home without my needed medical supplies. Horrible experience. They scammed me. When I ordered the supplies, they told me that my expense will e a zero as everything is covered by my insurance. To ship this order it took them 2 months. After they finally shipped, in another 2 months, they send me a surprise bill for 163 dollars. Their refund policy is only 30 days. So they left me with no choice. Worst customer service ever! Wednesday I ordered supplies for my husband, a new patient, telling them he would use his last supplies Saturday. They said they would place the order. I called Thursday, they had not placed the order. I called Friday, they said they would FedEx overnight. Saturday (today) I got the tracking number stating it was shipped Friday FedEx Standard Overnight with special handling instructions Deliver Weekday (meaning Monday). For a company that handles supplies needed in some cases to keep people alive, their lack or urgency is appalling. Recently I had to call them because they needed more information. You can only find out if a breast pump is fully covered through the insurance once you submit all your paperwork and doctors letter. Which I find odd because I have to wait a few weeks to find out if I qualify for a breast pump for free or have a charge?? It doesn't even give me time to choose because I don't know what's covered till the end stage. Doesn't make sense. Reading other reviews it seems like it is a scam because they charge you a copay even if insurance says it's free or it's too late and you can't cancel an order. I started calling to make sure my daughter's insulin pump supplies about 3 weeks early. After my first call her order was cancelled. After my second call I was assured everything looked good. Imagine my surprise when I checked on the order status the day her order was supposed to ship, 11/3, and they said they were waiting on a prior authorization. I check on her PA's and it had been approved on 10/27. I called and gave them the authorization number and told them that it had been completed a week earlier. I was told by the representative that they had called on 10/31 and it wasn't completed. When I informed her that I was looking at the authorization she basically told me I was wrong. I gave the representative the PA number and hoped for the best. Her order has still not been filled and there is a note stating that they are waiting on a PA. I have spoken with my insurance and endocrinologist and neither seems to understand what the problem is because they have fulfilled their parts. The representatives seem to have no idea what is going on and I really don't if I can keep my cool if I have to call them again. If I had any other choice I would use another company. read more

RUN RUN as fast as you can from this company. My mom switched insurance plans the first of the year so we had to switch medical supply companies. NEVER an issue with her old company. NOTHING but issues month after month with Edgepark and still NO diabetic supplies. My mom must take insulin 4x a day but is guessing at her blood sugar as she has NO Libre 2 sensors and NO test strips. Absolutely friggen ridiculous. Been dealing with this company since the first week of March when we realized insurance was an issue with the old company. Every single interaction ends with, "It will ship within 15 days" NOT! It's 2-1/2 months later and they still want approval codes. I have 3 different approval letters from the insurance company with 3 different codes that will expire soon and previous call was 3 way called in with insurance company - Edgepark had all the codes, approvals, even a text message it was shipping. That was only after a very nasty lady "Miles" got rude with me for asking about what they needed me to send in when the supplies arrived. Horrible connection and considering the number of months of being lied to, I wanted to confirm I understood her request correctly. Her response was to yell at me, "I ALREADY TOLD YOU THAT", again I said I just wanted to confirm it was something I needed to do and not the doctor and again got screamed at "I ALREADY TOLD YOU THAT" and then she hung up. Needless to say, that was over a week ago and being told on the previous call April 18th, that items would ship. The last call the rep confirmed everything was approved to ship on April 19th but didn't know why it hadn't shipped so she would send in the request again. Hence today's call. I couldn't understand the name of the woman today. She told me there was no record of anything being approved. I told her I had 3 approval letters and my insurance rep straightened it all out on the last call as my approvals were from Brown and Toland medical group but they needed approval from the insurance company of the HMO, which she gave to them on the last call. Today's woman kept repeating, "Just give me the approval number" and I told her they have it from my insurance rep. We went around and around and I asked nicely for a manager as she couldn't find what was needed in the system and after months of calls I knew it was in there. She asked why I needed a manager and I was calm (at first) stating I understood she didn't have he information, but I know their company has it and wanted management to look into it and find it because months of these same calls are not acceptable. I told her I didn't have an issue with her, but the company and that's what I'd like to speak to management about. Again with the "just give me the approval" and again I requested a manager. She finally said "ok" but explained if I get disconnected to just call and speak to someone else. Guess what happened? I got disconnected. I call edgepark and see they enter a completely different phone and fax. I provide correct info and the very rude CS person went into a fit about I owed a balance and demanded a credit card number. I said NO. Edgepark had not even successfully sent my script to the correct doctor even after I provided the correct phone and fax numbers. We have used Edgepark for 2 years, due to our insurance forcing us to switch to them from the pump manufacturer, for my daughter's insulin pump supplies. Almost every single shipment of supplies has had some sort of issue. My daughter's doctor sends her prescriptions straight to Edgepark, we never see them, but when a prescription expires we are never told until AFTER we have placed an order and it's days away from shipping. Why in the world would Edgepark expect us to know when those expire and to call the doctor? Why wouldn't Edgepark, as the entity in possession of the prescription be proactive and call the doctor when they have a prescription that is going to expire!? The same goes with prior authorizations, these can be done for any length of time, so why in the world would Edgepark expect us, who again never see these, to keep track of when they expire and expect us to call the doctor to get a new one? The last time we had this issue they waited until my daughter had just over 1 week of supplies left and called us to tell us the insurance denied the claim, only to find out it was because they needed the prior auth done. Then proceeded to tell us "it could be 10-14 days before this is processed back to us and then another 2-5 before the supplies ship". WHY WOULD THEY WAIT UNTIL 10 DAYS BEFORE THE DATE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO SHIP TO CHECK THAT!? Our final straw came today, I received a bill for over $400 for a shipment of supplies my daughter received in November but Edgepark did not bill until January with a falsified date of service of January 17th. My daughter had a 30 day lapse of coverage in January, and without informing anyone Edgepark had worked out a side deal with her insurance company to bill one CGM every 30 days instead of billing 90 days worth on the day they were shipped, like they always had before. So, the last sensor of the 90 day supply from November billed when her coverage was lapsed. Had we known they were billing this way, when we determined she was going to have a lapse in coverage, we would have returned the CGM and she would have used a glucometer for the 30 days she was uncovered. Whenever we have called about these issues we are met with rude, unsympathetic, and down right unprofessional employees who are more interested in blaming us than taking responsibility for the terrible policies of this company. Edgepark Employees: you are in the healthcare business, for some people, like my daughter, to some extent you hold their life in your hands. Maybe act like you care a bit, maybe try to have some empathy and most importantly maybe try to learn about the illnesses these customers have so when a mother calls in upset that you whoopsie daisy-ed her kid out of her life sustaining pump supplies, you can understand that she can't "just wait" for the prior auth or new prescription to show up. If I could give a -0 I would! This is by far the worst DM provider of medical equipment I have ever dealt with bar none! Money hungry and the utmost rude customer service I have ever encountered. We had to go to a totally different vendor for a mandatory medical equipment because they "refused" to send it per script initiated from my husbands Oncologist. They kept calling, they kept demanding $400 for 10 drainage kits. Our deductible had already been met and ultimately I had to do a 3 way call so they would STOP! The very next day they called my husband, who has small cell lung cancer and asked him for $400 to ship. My husband has a tube in his side that needs to be drained x2 per week by the visiting nurse. The nurse actually had to use their own saved drainage kit... Finally I told them my attorney would be calling them if they did not send the drainage kits per the Oncologist as prescription states. They came a week later and then after those 10 were used and original scrip had refills, we had to go through the SAME thing all over again..... In the end we went with another company.
