After the first walk through I called them to ask for the quote and instead of returning a call they sent someone out without an appointment and mindlessly measured the length of the sidewalk. Again they came out. We walked the property, they didn't provide any estimate. Definitely don't give them your business.

My partner and I were looking to get our sod done in April 2025. We stopped by Lake Ridge Nursery…read more(after Lowes and Home Depot), who happened to be almost 3X the amount. After speaking with the lady up front (I believe it was the owner Donny's wife, but not 100% sure) she talked us into using their services because she convinced us that their sod was locally grown and they had expert installers. We spend almost $1,000.00 and they came by the next week. Everything seemed to be ok after they left, but less than a month later, the sod stared to brown. MULTIPLE requests (including text messages, phone calls and visits to the store) and months later Donny finally agreed to replace the sod. NO notification that they were coming, I got a knock on my door the last day of October (7 MONTHS later) they were there to replace the sod. In the middle of the guys replacing the sod, Donny (the owner) literally pulled up in front of my house, got out and screamed in front of my entire neighborhood how he didn't think my sod actually needed to be replaced and to "never effing call him again" (Yes I have it all on video if anyone is interested). After an altercation, he trespassed me from his store. Nice way to deal with a customer that only wanted to get what he paid almost 3X what he should have from a local business.

Lee Highway Nursery installed a patio and did some other landscaping for me. Their Landscape…read moreDesigner, Ms Kendra Snyder is very good, she gave us good recommendations and ensured the work was done as contracted by spending time on site each day. John, the foreman who installed the patio was exacting in his installation. It is well and firmly laid and correctly angled and I am certain it will serve us well for many years. At first I thought tihe estimate was high, went ahead with the work anyway as we were anxious to schedule the work and it was competitive with most other estimates. When I saw the amount of work, the machinery used to do the job, dumptrucks, excavators, high tech tamping machines, etc I changed my mind. They carried off all the old patio and excavated material and were careful to protect the lawn and surrounding landscape. The topsoil, mulch and material used were all the best quality. I added on some work when I saw how professional and exacting their work was.. a rock path above our wall steps and some stone edging around an ivy bed and tree..all done to the same high standards as the patio. Photos below. A first rate job by real professionals..fully deserving 5 stars. .

Two landscaping trucks came and went in the ten minutes I was there, so people seem to regularly do business here. Cons: Not sure where to park. There's a house that has a sign "Private Property" but no designated area to park. As I walked the grounds, a customer approached me first and asked what I was looking for. He pointed to the only other person there and told me that gentleman was the worker. The worker didn't acknowledge me until I approached him. He was friendly, but didn't speak enough English to understand my request. I attempted twice to explain. After walking in the direction that the worker sent me attempting to answer my question, I didn't find what I needed: a ground cover for a walkway. The selection of plants is minimal at best: only a few shrubs. So I do NOT recommend this place for plants AT ALL.
