I went for the first time on July 3 this year! The ticketing system is detailed (read alllllll of the directions!), but I understand why they have it. I scored a ticket for the "onesie" line and took my sister in law with me. (The onesie ticket allows you, and two guests, to purchase one piece of jewelry and the other ticket gets you, and two guests, into the little store where you can buy multiple pieces.) When we arrived, the lady at the ticket table was friendly and efficient. We had to show her our driver's licenses to match with the info I entered when I got the tix, so BRING YOUR ID! They really do check to make sure the info matches up! We waited in line for a few minutes and chatted with the ladies in front of us who had several Eden pieces from previous summers. The backyard is a really lovely little area, nicely shaded and full of beautiful colors and art. When we got up to the table, a very sweet young lady helped us out. She helped us to pick the prefect size and bracelet. I got the classic silver with a gold screwball and my sister in law got the all gold version. We are both really happy with our new bracelets. The quality is fantastic, and I love that my bracelet is hand crafted on Cape Cod. I definitely recommend, but you need a ticket to go! My best advice is to jump on their ticketing website at 530 in the morning on the day when the tix are released, and just refresh the screen until the ticketing opens up and snag your ticket! Part of the Eden Hand Arts experience was getting a ticket & standing in line with others with excited anticipation. Now it's just another online store. Total bummer. I loved going to Eden Hand Arts. Yes it's hard to get a ticket. Yes there are a lot of rules. But after going for the first time I completely understand why. Why? Because people are obnoxious. It's a tiny shop and the people that shared my time slot were loud and entitled and had no idea how to be kind, grateful and conduct themselves in public while they are visiting someone's home business. The two young women shop staff at Eden were both patient and helpful. I loved the purchases I made for myself which included a silver fish ring (love love love) and double ball all gold bracelet. I brought cash and a check just to be sure, and ended up using my check. The jeweler was respectful and kind while she was fitting a choker necklace on a customer and there was a young man that worked in the back that found a gold double ball bracelet that was exactly my size! Lucky me! I saw him earlier in the morning when he was dropped off for work and he gave me a wave and a welcoming smile. I couldn't believe it when I snagged an inside ticket for the second to last week of the season. I was so nervous based off some reviews but I had a great experience. Everyone was so kind - from the person who greeted me, the wonderful people in line, and the staff that helped measure my wrist and help me try on whatever I wanted. Some styles were sold out and I was limited to 3 bracelets instead of 4 since inventory is low - but I walked away very happy! I snagged the Sun + Moon, cape cod screwball, and the Shiner with jade eye. I also grabbed a fish ring. Everything is amazing quality, and the experience makes it so special. Update 2023! Went to Eden for my 4th time! This year was a little different because you have to get a ticket for the onsie line (usually it's just for the store). I booked it two weeks before the scheduled date. Booking sold out within an hour so make sure to book as soon as they post the schedule (see their website!) The onsie line is for people who are only getting one thing. This year I got a silver double screwball. It was around $150. Love my stack! Will visit Eden again and again! Edens is the original Cape Cod bracelet. Yes, they have a lot of rules around sales. This is because they're in a residential neighborhood with limited parking. If I were a neighbor, I'd be happy that Eden's is keeping the crowds under control. I went online the week before my vacation and requested tickets. (Tickets are currently released a week before the week requested.). On our appointed day, my step daughter, cousin, and I took a little road trip. We were first in line for our time slot, and waited just a few minutes. This year the sales are limited but we all got bracelets. I got the double screw ball to match my 20 year old screw ball bracelet, plus a tag for my original bracelet. My SD and cousin both got all silver. The experience was painless, organized, and the staff were kind and thoughtful. I could see getting frustrated if you can't get tickets- I just got lucky with our week. The bracelets are pretty, the setup is cute, kind of in the middle of nowhere. I had my ticket and shoes up on time but still had to wait 45 min to get in the store, but the staff doesn't rush you once you're inside, they're attentive, but give you space to browse if you need that, and come to you to help you and measure your wrist as you need them. We were loyal followers for years, last year ended a long run. The online process became too much. My wife got up on the day that "reservations " would start but never say what time. After waiting hours it opened and she secured an opening, but you had to put in a ton of information on each attendee, so by the time she completed the tasks and clicked next, oh, sorry your reservation was gone. Eden Hand Arts artists make beautifully crafted jewelry, that has such an "original" look, that it was stolen by the Cape Cod Bracelet brand. I have gone to Eden for years, and have many treasured pieces of jewelry! I don't live in Massachusetts, and many friends comment on the beautiful Eden jewelry I wear. The most challenging aspect of Eden is the frustration over booking ticket times and dates for the few days we have while on the Cape. It's a ridiculous amount of time to wait around for the unknown moment of when the tickets will be released. When they were, I grabbed a time slot, and as quickly as possible I had to enter in the name and address info for each of the three people in my group. When I completed it, the time slot I had selected had disappeared! It wasn't held while I filled out the information. Grr! We ended up having to change our vacation plans to work around the Eden time slot I finally got. When we arrived, the check-in employee made a huge deal that our zip code entered on the ticket information, did not match the zip code on my driver's license (our names and address matched perfectly!). I explained that our home where we've resided for 20 years just got a new zip code-- due to huge population growth in our city. The Eden employee made such a big deal that the two zips didn't match even though the people and address matched just as entered. It was quite ridiculous. It soured our experience, and between that and the ticket time registration, and threats of being banned if everything wasn't done perfectly right, it just took the final fun out of the Eden shopping trip for us. If you have more than 2 members of your family, you cannot go! I've been to Eden multiple times. It was always such a fun time to get a bracelet with my family. When my grandmother decided to get me a bracelet this year, the family was very excited to go again. I understand the ticketing system is something you need to have with such a small store. Many family members wanted bracelets, and most of us live out of state, so we got a few tickets so that we could go with my grandmother and all purchase jewelry (hundreds of dollars between all of us) . The tickets were promptly cancelled since my mother and I have the same first line of our address. I was then blocked from buying tickets. Very frustrating, but it gets worse. I received the following disgusting email from Eden. "Dear Customer, You may have received a ticket cancellation notice that you did not initiate. As you have probably experienced, it is extremely difficult to get a ticket to come to Eden. Because the demand is so high and we want to let as many people as possible have a chance to come, we limit people/families to only one ticket per a two week period. From our records it looks like it's possible you or family members booked more than one ticket. Therefore multiple tickets from the same household were canceled by us. We know its possible that we got this wrong. If so we are sorry. Please understand that it is one of those unfortunate and dissappointing but unresolvable life experiences and hope you have luck at booking another ticket in the future. On the other hand, if it is very clear to those of us who work with the ticket system or the people who greet and check-in people, that our policy has been intentionally violated, then you should expect to be blocked from booking tickets in the foreseeable future. While getting this email is a dissappinting experience, we suggest you take some comfort in knowing that you have made someone else very, very happy. In fact it could be the highlight of their week as there are literally hundreds of people waiting for a spot to open so they can experience Eden. As the owner often reassures staff and helps us keep thing in perspective, "no one is starving, homeless, or dying because they can't get a bracelet." So lets maintain a positive attitude, see the beauty around us, and stay in gratitude for all our tangible blessings. I heard about the cape cod bracelets years ago, and desperately wanted to visit Eden Hand Arts, but live in CT, so I had to find a weekend where we could drive up. I was able to get a ticket for the second week of June. It was really easy to get the ticket on their website, just make sure you check early Monday mornings the week before you are planning to go. When I got there around 10am, there was a line, but it wasn't too bad. Once they check and confirm your ticket, they let you in. If it's your first time there (like it was mine) they show you around. Let me start with, I'm happy with my bracelets. Their purchasing system, however could be improved. Although, I get the feeling they may not want to improve it.. to keep the exclusivity of their product. Either way.. I'll suggest it. Perhaps a catalog could be available to the "next in line" on the ticket line.. so once those folks get inside, they have an idea of what they want already. Even with a limited number of tickets being issued, I still waited an hour outside in the ticket line. And/or have said catalog available at the onesies line. So at least folks that dont feel like they need to go inside (or haven't scored a precious golden ticket) can see all of the things available to pick from. This is the authentic cape cod bracelet. Without an Eden tag, it's not official. I wear my Eden stuff proudly. All over the world I am recognized by people that know Eden and we connect back to Cape Cod, which is something special and unlike anything else. Which is why I have the high rating But I do have some issues with the shopping process. First of all, you have to get a ticket to go shopping. The tickets don't cost money but they're almost impossible to get. You can have max 3 people per ticket. I understand the limit because the store is so small, but I found the women to work there extremely rude. I felt rushed throughout the process. Spending almost a thousand dollars, one shouldn't feel rushed. Also the woman openly admitted to me that for someone that is a "no show" they are put on a black list from the store and will not be given a ticket for atleast a full year. Also my sister had her bracelet for less than 3 months and it was already tarnishing. For the price and the inconvenience of getting to Eden, this was very disappointing. We have the option to bring it to the side one by one window, but still not what we wanted to do for the price we payed. I do not recommend Eden under the current owner. the previous owners were so gracious and kind, but their daughter leaves much to be desired. we went last year and spent over $6000... she kept lurking over the shoulder of the person helping us. she asked multiple times how we were paying. my fiancé is Spanish and it was as if she thought we could not afford what we were picking out. I asked her if their was a problem and she was very flustered. I ended up with an all gold bracelet that the man had trouble screwing on. He ended up getting the bracelet on however in the past year I have not been able to remove it even once. I went here this past weekend and it was completely spur of the moment. I like that there are recent pictures of peoples purchases here on Yelp, definitely helped to narrow down what I wanted to look at! I went to the side window since I didn't have a ticket. This was my first time ever using the side window and I don't have any complaints. Just make sure you have an idea of what you want before hand! I really wanted the black onyx cups bracelet and was interested in other colors but unfortunately they were out of my size and only had larger sizes left which wouldn't fit me (oh well, there's always next year!) anyway, I ended up getting the herring fish bracelet and it's beautiful. The woman who helped me at the side window told me that they are so strict about the number of people inside the store because of the fire department. According to the fire department they can't have any more than 12 people inside the store at a time and that is including the people working. She also informed me that Mr. Carey, who was responsible for helping to make the bracelets, passed away 2 years ago and now there is only one man making bracelets. Yes, there are a lot of hurdles to get over to get that admission ticket, but if you're patient, lucky, and willing to follow the procedures , you'll find that once you get there everyone is so friendly and helpful. I have been wanting an authentic Cape Cod bracelet forever. Living in Massachusetts for many years I took for granted that I could get one anytime as my MIL lived on the Cape. Then we moved to CT. Then Covid hit. So when Eden Hand Arts finally re-opened I made it a mission to get a bracelet. At first reading the reviews, the rules, getting tickets was frustrating. I understand now. This tiny store is off a busy street, and turning into the side street I nearly got T-Boned by a Masshole driver. When they mention residential, I thought neighborhood. Its more like the place sneaks up on you on a curve. Pray that no one is behind you! Once we got there ( 30 min earlier) we waited about 5 min. The women couldn't have been nicer or friendlier! Today I requested a ticket for December to buy some Christmas gifts for family in Colorado. I was denied because I inadvertently missed an appointment I made back in July 2017. Yes, over a year ago. The Eden showroom is actually located in a tiny little cabin in Dennis - kind of hidden away. There's no parking aside from the driveway of the house next to the cabin. I assume this is the house the owners live in. If you park on the road they'll come out and tell you to move it or get towed. We barely squeezed into a parking space in the driveway. Next we walked over to the store area and there was a line. Never mind the fact that they'd just opened 10 minutes ago. There was a line already. It didn't seem long, but since the store is really just a tiny cabin with 2-3 people working in it, and they give individual attention to each person that walks through the door, it actually took a while to make it in. Other Eden oddities: You can't enter the store until you're asked to come in. They're only open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and only on four days of the week. Cash and checks only, no credit or debit cards. They won't mail anything anywhere. You can bring a wrist measurement and buy a bracelet, but you can't bring a neck measurement and buy a "neck wire," which I think is a hard, shaped necklace. They must get a lot of people making fakes because they have signs up about how this store is the only place you can buy their merchandise. It's not in other stores, it's not online, it's not called anything else. So, when we finally got into Eden, me and my friends are taken care of by the sweetest grandmother-ish woman. We were not rushed, hence the line, and she let us look at and try on anything we wanted. There was no pressure to buy, the jewelry sells itself. Eden stands behind the jewelry they make. A woman came in with a broken bracelet and they replaced it. Just like that. They asked her a few lifestyle questions so they could maybe determine how it was damaged, but she was in and out with a completely new bracelet in 10 minutes flat. read more

Ok, granted I was here during the 'off' season when no tickets are required, and the Cape is rather quiet, so I can't comment on summer craziness here. What I can comment on is the following: - we were immediately greeted and shown in to the (miniscule) shop (note: I'm sure that's why things get a bit difficult in the summer and I can understand their policies). - the service was got was really friendly - everyone was super nice and let us think about which bracelets to get (my sister had a plan going in - I had a tougher time deciding). So, I get it - they want to 'own' this design and make it theirs if you want the original Cape Cod bracelet. I started traveling throughout the Cape last summer for work- unknowingly purchased a fake screwball bracelet- but when I started seeing them everywhere, I wanted to learn more. I came across the Eden website and as soon as they dropped the line "...artist integrity..." I knew I had to right my wrong and support the family that started it all. I read their website- learned about the onesy line, browsed people's photos and the next time I knew I would be in the area, I set aside time to go experience it myself. It was the middle of summer so tickets were already all reserved for the season. No biggy! I am quite surprised to see the uproar some people are in because they can't respect the way they run their operation. This is a small, family based business and they do an excellent job of cultivating a special experience for everyone. I was way on top of the ball this year, requested a FREE ticket so as to admire all their work. I went yesterday to the shop, arrived early for my 1pm time slot. Even watching as people exit the store, beaming with excitement about their new additions is enjoyable. Carol came to the door, let me scoot in early, and was incredibly helpful the entire time. Everyone introduced themselves by name and were very attentive- really made it feel like a special experience. Do they have procedures in place to make things run smoothly? Yes. Are they cash or check only? Yes. Do they deserve people dragging them because said people don't want to respect the rules? Certainly not. I've never had anything shy of an excellent experience, both when I went to the onesy line as well as when I adhered to the rules and requested a ticket to enter the shop. They spell it all out, there are no surprises, and the quality and craftsmanship are uncontested. It certainly will not be my last visit. read more

If you're a Cape Cod girl at heart then an Eden bracelet is a must. When you're wearing one, no matter where in the world you are, you'll instantly bond with anyone else wearing one...as cheesy as that sounds. During the summer you need a ticket to go inside the cottage and browse (directions for ticket on their website: edenhandarts.net). If you know exactly what you want then you can go to the side door without a ticket. They create a new bracelet every year, so I decided to get a ticket and browse. Be prepared to still wait in line even though you have a ticket. Waiting in line at Eden is par for the course, especially on a weekend morning in the summer. For bracelets, the prices range from $84 for an all silver Cape Cod screw ball, to $700 for an all gold CC screw ball. Others are around $150. While in the store your group is helped by one of the employees, so if you're standing in line thinking, "what is taking those people so long I just want to go in," it is because they're waiting to be sized, try something on and then pay. It is 1-1 service, so even if customers leave, they don't let more people in until there is an available employee. They even have infant sizes, which makes for a great baby shower gift (the bracelet costs the same no matter the size). Remember it is cash or check only! While windsurfing this summer I lost one of my Eden bracelets..I tried to replace it this week but sadly they don't make it anymore so I bought another. Like many who aren't from the area, I had first learned about the famous "Dennis bracelet" years ago from an episode of the Bachelorette. I don't usually gravitate towards things just because they are featured on TV, but after looking up pictures online, I just knew I had to have one.... And not just any cape cod bracelet, it had to be the real authentic one from Eden Hand Arts. I finally got my chance during my first visit to Cape Cod on 5/31/14. I had done my research and was ready with cash in hand and husband in tow. This was during the off-season so no tickets were needed. We arrived at around 12:30 and were able to snag the last parking spot in their gravel driveway. We barely got our compact rental car to fit. We walked towards the path/line area and saw that there were only 3 people waiting (nice!) Two people were let into the store by the time we reached our place in line and were left to chat with a nice lady. She couldn't gush enough about Eden and how it was so much more worth it to get the real thing! After about 15-20 minutes, we were invited in (yes, you must wait to be invited in. The place is tiny!) By this time, an additional 6-8 people had quickly lined up behind us.We took our time looking around and never once felt rushed to make a choice. A wonderful lady named Doreen helped us and she let me try on as many bracelets as I wanted. In the end I couldn't decide between three styles so my wonderful husband said "get them all". I left with 3 beautiful bracelets on my wrist plus one for my sis in law. The small atmosphere, "old school" ways, and authentic hand crafted items are what makes this brand special. You walk away with a beautiful piece of jewelry and a story to tell. I think expanding or mass marketing would ruin the charm of this place. Keep it how it is. They're not looking to rip people off or be bazillionaires, which is what makes it all worth the wait. I don't know if/when I'll ever be back on Cap Cod, but this is the only place I'll be getting Cape Cod jewelry in the future. read more
