I loved going to Eden Hand Arts. Yes it's hard to get a ticket. Yes there are a lot of rules. But after going for the first time I completely understand why. Why? Because people are obnoxious. It's a tiny shop and the people that shared my time slot were loud and entitled and had no idea how to be kind, grateful and conduct themselves in public while they are visiting someone's home business. The two young women shop staff at Eden were both patient and helpful. I loved the purchases I made for myself which included a silver fish ring (love love love) and double ball all gold bracelet. I brought cash and a check just to be sure, and ended up using my check. The jeweler was respectful and kind while she was fitting a choker necklace on a customer and there was a young man that worked in the back that found a gold double ball bracelet that was exactly my size! Lucky me! I saw him earlier in the morning when he was dropped off for work and he gave me a wave and a welcoming smile. If you are fortunate to be able to go to Eden, think of it as a gift and understand you are a guest at someones' home. Thank you Eden! I look forward to my return.

The image shows a person's wrist decorated with multiple silver bracelets, each with distinct designs including engraved patterns, smooth surfaces, and spherical accents. The person is wearing a white, textured long-sleeve garment, and the background features green grass and foliage, indicating an outdoor setting.

I couldn't believe it when I snagged an inside ticket for the second to last week of the season. I was so nervous based off some reviews but I had a great experience. Everyone was so kind - from the person who greeted me, the wonderful people in line, and the staff that helped measure my wrist and help me try on whatever I wanted. Some styles were sold out and I was limited to 3 bracelets instead of 4 since inventory is low - but I walked away very happy! I snagged the Sun + Moon, cape cod screwball, and the Shiner with jade eye. I also grabbed a fish ring. Everything is amazing quality, and the experience makes it so special. I'll definitely be back.

My newest edition: The fisherman's knot bracelet (around $250) - A person's wrist is adorned with four handcrafted bracelets made of silver and gold-tone metals. The bracelets feature various designs, including twisted and smooth bands, with some having spherical accents. The background is blurred, emphasizing the jewelry and the wrist. The image highlights the style and craftsmanship of Cape Cod jewelry pieces.

Update 2023! Went to Eden for my 4th time! This year was a little different because you have to get a ticket for the onsie line (usually it's just for the store). I booked it two weeks before the scheduled date. Booking sold out within an hour so make sure to book as soon as they post the schedule (see their website!) The onsie line is for people who are only getting one thing. This year I got a silver double screwball. It was around $150. Love my stack! Will visit Eden again and again! Read my other reviews for more of my experiences there.

Herring bracelet XL $280 - A hand with multiple rings and bracelets is shown in the foreground, extended over a rocky shoreline. The background features the ocean with gentle waves and a cloudy, overcast sky. The scene appears to be near a coast, with rocks along the shoreline and water stretching to the horizon.

Had a great experience at Eden a few days ago. Staff was really kind, process was a breeze. Tickets were difficult to get so I had to settle for the onesie line. Other than that I had so much fun. Looking forward to visiting again from California next year

My 20 year old Single screw ball bracelet, my new double, and my stepdaughter's new all silver bracelet! Thanks for a great experience! - The image shows an adult and a child holding hands outdoors on a grassy area. The adult's hand is adorned with rings and bracelets, including a green jade bracelet, a black wristband, and a silver bracelet with beads. The adult also wears a silver ring with a gemstone. The child's hand has a white digital watch, and the child is dressed in blue shorts with a tiger print. The background consists of grass and some small rocks or debris.

Edens is the original Cape Cod bracelet. Yes, they have a lot of rules around sales. This is because they're in a residential neighborhood with limited parking. If I were a neighbor, I'd be happy that Eden's is keeping the crowds under control. I went online the week before my vacation and requested tickets. (Tickets are currently released a week before the week requested.). On our appointed day, my step daughter, cousin, and I took a little road trip. We were first in line for our time slot, and waited just a few minutes. This year the sales are limited but we all got bracelets. I got the double screw ball to match my 20 year old screw ball bracelet, plus a tag for my original bracelet. My SD and cousin both got all silver. The experience was painless, organized, and the staff were kind and thoughtful. I could see getting frustrated if you can't get tickets- I just got lucky with our week. Be patient, try for tickets, and get the original.

If you have more than 2 members of your family, you cannot go! I've been to Eden multiple times. It was always such a fun time to get a bracelet with my family. When my grandmother decided to get me a bracelet this year, the family was very excited to go again. I understand the ticketing system is something you need to have with such a small store. Many family members wanted bracelets, and most of us live out of state, so we got a few tickets so that we could go with my grandmother and all purchase jewelry (hundreds of dollars between all of us) . The tickets were promptly cancelled since my mother and I have the same first line of our address. I was then blocked from buying tickets. Very frustrating, but it gets worse. I received the following disgusting email from Eden. "Dear Customer, You may have received a ticket cancellation notice that you did not initiate. As you have probably experienced, it is extremely difficult to get a ticket to come to Eden. Because the demand is so high and we want to let as many people as possible have a chance to come, we limit people/families to only one ticket per a two week period. From our records it looks like it's possible you or family members booked more than one ticket. Therefore multiple tickets from the same household were canceled by us. We know its possible that we got this wrong. If so we are sorry. Please understand that it is one of those unfortunate and dissappointing but unresolvable life experiences and hope you have luck at booking another ticket in the future. On the other hand, if it is very clear to those of us who work with the ticket system or the people who greet and check-in people, that our policy has been intentionally violated, then you should expect to be blocked from booking tickets in the foreseeable future. While getting this email is a dissappinting experience, we suggest you take some comfort in knowing that you have made someone else very, very happy. In fact it could be the highlight of their week as there are literally hundreds of people waiting for a spot to open so they can experience Eden. As the owner often reassures staff and helps us keep thing in perspective, "no one is starving, homeless, or dying because they can't get a bracelet." So lets maintain a positive attitude, see the beauty around us, and stay in gratitude for all our tangible blessings. Sincerely, Eden Hand Arts" As I said, I understand the need for a ticketing system. To send this absurd and outrageous email to your customers is another level of disgusting I will never understand. "In fact, it could literally be the highlight of their week" - how big of an ego does Eden need to have to think that getting a bracelet is the highlight of any one's family vacation? I promise you that spending precious time with family, NOT going to Eden, was the highlight of my week. We will never be returning to Eden. As you said "no one is dying if they can't get a bracelet". We went to cape cod jewelers and had a wonderful experience!

2019 prices (not including tax): From the left, Fisherman's Knot $192. The last one is the Open Tiwst with double gold balls $152.

I heard about the cape cod bracelets years ago, and desperately wanted to visit Eden Hand Arts, but live in CT, so I had to find a weekend where we could drive up. I was able to get a ticket for the second week of June. It was really easy to get the ticket on their website, just make sure you check early Monday mornings the week before you are planning to go. When I got there around 10am, there was a line, but it wasn't too bad. Once they check and confirm your ticket, they let you in. If it's your first time there (like it was mine) they show you around. I wanted to buy everything, their jewelry is definitely unique, and beautifully crafted!! So happy with my purchase!

Let me start with, I'm happy with my bracelets. Their purchasing system, however could be improved. Although, I get the feeling they may not want to improve it.. to keep the exclusivity of their product. Either way.. I'll suggest it. Perhaps a catalog could be available to the "next in line" on the ticket line.. so once those folks get inside, they have an idea of what they want already. Even with a limited number of tickets being issued, I still waited an hour outside in the ticket line. And/or have said catalog available at the onesies line. So at least folks that dont feel like they need to go inside (or haven't scored a precious golden ticket) can see all of the things available to pick from. Personally, I scoured the internet for photos and prices to see what might be available when I got there, so at least I had an idea when I did get in the store. 2018 Prices: Shiner bracelet $182. All silver screwball bracelet $84. Eden Eye bracelet $264.

This is the authentic cape cod bracelet. Without an Eden tag, it's not official. I wear my Eden stuff proudly. All over the world I am recognized by people that know Eden and we connect back to Cape Cod, which is something special and unlike anything else. Which is why I have the high rating But I do have some issues with the shopping process. First of all, you have to get a ticket to go shopping. The tickets don't cost money but they're almost impossible to get. You can have max 3 people per ticket. I understand the limit because the store is so small, but I found the women to work there extremely rude. I felt rushed throughout the process. Spending almost a thousand dollars, one shouldn't feel rushed. Also the woman openly admitted to me that for someone that is a "no show" they are put on a black list from the store and will not be given a ticket for atleast a full year. Also my sister had her bracelet for less than 3 months and it was already tarnishing. For the price and the inconvenience of getting to Eden, this was very disappointing. We have the option to bring it to the side one by one window, but still not what we wanted to do for the price we payed. I will be back to Eden (as long as this review doesn't get me black listed ) but I still don't love the process of getting my jewelry

I do not recommend Eden under the current owner. the previous owners were so gracious and kind, but their daughter leaves much to be desired. we went last year and spent over $6000... she kept lurking over the shoulder of the person helping us. she asked multiple times how we were paying. my fiancé is Spanish and it was as if she thought we could not afford what we were picking out. I asked her if their was a problem and she was very flustered. I ended up with an all gold bracelet that the man had trouble screwing on. He ended up getting the bracelet on however in the past year I have not been able to remove it even once. Myself, my fiancé, and my daughter have all been banned because I resold some jewelry that I legally paid and had the right to do that with. I explained to them that he had nothing to do with the bracelets that I resold but they will not allow any of us in anymore. This place is a joke. They got their money so what do they care what I do with my jewelry

Most recent herring fish bracelet :)

I went here this past weekend and it was completely spur of the moment. I like that there are recent pictures of peoples purchases here on Yelp, definitely helped to narrow down what I wanted to look at! I went to the side window since I didn't have a ticket. This was my first time ever using the side window and I don't have any complaints. Just make sure you have an idea of what you want before hand! I really wanted the black onyx cups bracelet and was interested in other colors but unfortunately they were out of my size and only had larger sizes left which wouldn't fit me (oh well, there's always next year!) anyway, I ended up getting the herring fish bracelet and it's beautiful. The woman who helped me at the side window told me that they are so strict about the number of people inside the store because of the fire department. According to the fire department they can't have any more than 12 people inside the store at a time and that is including the people working. She also informed me that Mr. Carey, who was responsible for helping to make the bracelets, passed away 2 years ago and now there is only one man making bracelets. Hope this review helps to update people a bit :)

I ended up with the open double gold ball, and then (because I had another person with me) also got the fish ring.

AJ Marks Jewelers

So, I was going to give AJ Marks four stars because the hours suck for those of us who work 9-5…read moreM-F, and because (as someone else mentioned) sometimes you walk in and feel like you're kind of standing around waiting to be acknowledged. I ended up adding that star back, because for me, the customer service at AJ Marks went above and beyond. Buckle in, bitches. I got engaged. ;) I showed up at AJ Marks with a man's pinky ring and a look of wide-eyed panic. Joe proposed (yay!) but did so with a gigantic ring that had been buried under the floorboards of a farmhouse for god knows how long. It's a cool story. I'm probably cursed now. Anyway, I didn't even know if I had a real diamond, much less what to do with it. Sean (Shaun?) took my ring and immediately set to work. He cleaned it, looked at it under under crazy techno steampunk goggle things, and then was like, "Ok this is a man's pinky ring probably from the late Victorian era when single men wore rings. The diamond is a hand-cut European diamond, but it has a couple chips." Of course, he had said late Victorian era, so I had already manifested a parasol and a bustle and not heard another word. Sean talked a lot about diamonds, because the man knows his diamonds. Eventually Lillian took over and helped me pick out a somewhat more feminine (and five sizes smaller) ring for my haunted diamond. Despite me mentioning I had a budget SIXTY TIMES bigger what we ended up spending, no one at AJ Marks pressured me to get anything other than exactly what I wanted. Joe picked up my ring, and he brought in some silver and old jewelry to trade in. Again, Sean was completely honest and upfront, and ended up giving us a great deal. Guys, my engagement ring, which should have cost us $900, ended up being virtually free thanks to AJ Marks. When it came time to get my wedding ring, I had no doubt where I would go. This time, I was designing something from scratch, but Lillian was with me the entire way. She emailed me, gave feedback, and created digital renderings to see what it would look like. Then, when my CUSTOM ring wasn't exactly what I wanted, she went to bat for me and got the company to re-make it for just a small restocking fee. Yeah, I'm sure big box jewelry stores are chomping at the bit for size 4, 2 mm, black zirconium bands. But Lillian somehow made it happen and when she finally presented me with my ring just as I envisioned, I legit got choked up. Every time I set foot into AJ Marks, they would clean my ring for free. Lillian remembered my wedding date and told me to be sure to come in beforehand for a final shine. When I expressed concern that my diamond was crooked (it wasn't), Sean took it back to his wacky machine to make sure it was up to his standards. Let me tell you, as a recently engaged person, I have spent A LOT of time reading people's engagement ring horror stories. At AJ Marks, I felt completely supported and secure. If you are looking into jewelry on Cape, I highly recommend.
