Professional service. We had several trees removed and some others cleaned up. We received estimates from three highly-rated companies, and Edd's was the best. The service itself was impeccable. They were prompt, and they worked hard. All debris was cleaned up -- other than the improvements to the yard, you can't tell that they were here. I called a few different companies for an estimate on removing a dead tree & removing/grinding the tree stump as well in my backyard. Edd's was the 3rd company I called, and he came out the same day to give me an estimate. I was definitely pleased with the price- best quote than the other places I called. When we scheduled them to remove the tree, they did not fail. They got rid of the tree and even cleaned the area around it. It doesn't even look like there was ever a tree there! The second time he helped me out was when my mother needed two cedar trees removed from her front lawn in Levittown, PA. I was hesitant to call Edd's Tree Service because they didn't have any Yelp reviews but I am so glad I gave them a call. Not only did they come in with the best quote but they were able to get the job done quickly. They removed 4 trees, grinded the stumps and cleared my backyard which was overgrown with shrubs and weeds and was a total mess. I couldn't be happier with the job they did. People say you get what you pay for but in this case, I got so much more!! Thanks Edd. Edd and his crew are the LAST WORD in tree removal. They did a SUPERIOR job removing an over 50 foot tree in the front (thereby replacing it with a much smaller tree) and an over 75 foot tree in the back, all in the tight confines of a townhouse community. My neighbors and I really enjoyed the show, wherein my one neighbor hired Edd on the spot to remove one of his trees. They are the hardest-working crew I've ever seen, all at a price nobody else would touch. The stump grinding and cleanup was meticulous. They were over two hours late for our appointment and we were afraid they were not going to show. Are we glad they did. Their work was impeccable. Fast and neat. They did more than what we discussed. Their price was about 1/3 of their competitor's. Their machinery was impressive. We will definitely use them again. I recommend them but if you are going to be late, a phone call would go a long way. read more

Pros. They are on time and have competitive prices Cons .. the owner , ed, did not stay on site to supervise the removal and stump grinding of two trees. As a result the workers decided it was easier to drag the stump grinder across my lawn rather than use the easement access as I discussed with Ed..my lawn between the two trees is destroyed. Ed apologized and threw down some seed but I want new sod installed on the lawn in the spring ..Ed agreed verbally but nothing in writing. Also I never received written estimate for this job or receipt for payment . As far as cleanup .. his crew was supposed to remove all stump grinding debris raked clean ..and they did rake debris and removed some of the wood chips from stump removal but after they left I raked again and took away 2 cubic yards ( 4 wagon loads) of chips a debris just from one of the trees .. haven't done the second tree yet but looks to be the same amount of debris Update 4/14/18 Ed returned to finish cleaning up debris and Planted grass seed in the area of my lawn damaged by the grinding machine... read more
